Day 42

Elisa was outside pacing back and forth with her back pack on. She stood outside waiting for Drake to bring the vehicle. Drake had gone out to get a vehicle they could use.

"Come on Drake, where are you? " she said to herself wondering why Drake was taking so long. He was gone for about two hours already. That might not sound like too much for a regular person who went out to look for a working vehicle in an apocalypse. But this is Drake! His speed can be compared to none. He did not just stroll out into the streets, he ran. So yes, she was allowed to be worried.

Just as she was checking her time again and again, contemplating on going after him - even though she knew it did not make sense- She heard the sound of a car approaching.

First of all, she moved into hiding. She needed to make sure it was Drake before exposing herself. what if it was an enemy approaching with the vehicle? Certainly, one cannot be too careful.

"Elisa, are you there?" Drake called out to her. Then he saw he
