“Respect to the patriarch.” The gatekeepers immediately bowed in respect upon seeing Fa Wa.

Fa Wa merely smiled and led Ziyan Rouxi and Xiao Tian inside.

Xiao Tian arrived at Fa Wa’s residence. Fa Wa looked at Xiao Tian. “Tian, you will stay here now. However, although I have adopted you as my grandson, you will not be exempt from duties. Your task is to clean the entire courtyard and the training area. You must also take care of all the books in this house; do not let a single book gather dust! When you turn ten, I will register you as a disciple of this sect. Even though I am the patriarch, I must follow the sect’s rules. Do you understand?”

Xiao Tian clasped his hands together. “Grandfather, I understand.”

Every day, Xiao Tian diligently performed his tasks. Every morning, Xiao Tian diligently swept the courtyard, removing the scattered dry leaves. The morning sunlight reflected off the sweat on his innocent face. After that, he moved on to his next task, dusting off the books during the day. His small but nimble hands wiped each book carefully, not wanting to damage the precious pages.

At night, Xiao Tian took advantage of the opportunity without Fa Wa’s knowledge, sneaking into the library. In the silence of the night, he read the books with great interest, absorbing the knowledge within. Despite his young age, his determination and passion for learning never waned.

Three years had passed since Xiao Tian had been living in the Supreme Sword Sect. He was now nine years old.

“Tian, let’s go to the martial arena. There’s an interesting event to watch,” said Ziyan Rouxi. She was now eleven years old. Although she had turned eleven, her beautiful face already looked more mature.

Xiao Tian nodded; he was also very interested in the battles of the talented disciples. He watched the competition to find the strongest disciple in the Supreme Sword Sect.

When they arrived at the martial arena, no one dared to stop them, as everyone knew that the two children were the patriarch’s grandchildren.

“Look! Is that the patriarch’s adopted grandson named Tian?” one disciple asked another.

“Yes, that’s Tian. Unfortunately, he doesn’t like martial arts; he has never been seen training.”

“Maybe he’s waiting until he turns ten to start training.”

“Hahaha, he’s indeed the useless adopted grandson of the patriarch. Unlike Miss Ziyan, even though she hasn’t turned ten yet, her fingers are always busy with training, so when she turns ten, she won’t just start training, but she’ll already be able to defeat disciples older than her.”

“Maybe that’s the difference between a real grandchild and an adopted one. After all, he is adopted, so it’s normal if his martial arts talent is lacking.”

Xiao Tian heard the disciples’ remarks. However, Xiao Tian never took them to heart. He was used to the insults from the sect’s disciples. Despite his status as Fa Wa’s adopted grandson, people did not hesitate to mock him.

Ziyan Rouxi wanted to reprimand them, but Xiao Tian stopped her. “There’s no need to respond to them; let’s go see grandfather.”

“You’re too lenient with them. If you keep this up, they’ll keep mocking you!” Ziyan Rouxi was displeased that her adopted brother was being belittled.

“No need to be angry. Besides, I’m not hurt by their insults.” Xiao Tian smiled slightly. However, behind that smile lay a hidden meaning.

They both sat behind Fa Wa. They listened as Fa Wa laid out the rules for the competition to find the strongest disciple under seventeen years old.

Fa Wa looked at everyone present. “You all know why this competition is being held. It’s to find the strongest talent. Whoever wins will represent the Supreme Sword Sect in the She Empire tournament. So, use all your abilities so I can determine the best resources for you. I will personally train the strongest disciple for a year. By the time the tournament is held, you will be ready to compete with disciples from other sects and kingdoms in the She Dynasty. Do you understand?”

Fa Wa’s voice carried inner energy, so his words were heard by everyone present.

“Patriarch, we understand.” All the disciples answered in unison.

“Good, as long as you understand!” Fa Wa looked at one of the elders. “Liu Qingyun, lead the event!”

Liu Qingyun was an elder with high status in the sect. Although he was not young anymore, his muscles and fierce face showed he was very strong.

“Yes, patriarch.” Liu Qingyun immediately stepped into the martial arena. He began the competition.

Xiao Tian continued to watch the fights. However, his eyes were always drawn to one male disciple. That disciple’s name was Daniel.

Xiao Tian murmured, “Daniel has an internal energy of 230 rings; he’s already a third-class warrior. But he’s sealing his internal energy and showing that he only has 100 rings. This guy is very cautious; it seems he’s the one who will win this competition.”

Qiu Chanfeng tried to defend himself, his palms open and a pagoda appeared, thrown in front of his body. The pagoda glowed golden, dazzling light spreading in all directions. In an instant, its form expanded, transforming into a giant shield that seemed to be made of eternal metal, standing firmly in front of him with an unshakeable impression. BAANG!!! Xiao Tian's kick hit the pagoda directly. An explosion of power erupted like thunder breaking the sky, hitting the ears and chests of anyone who heard it. Wild vibrations spread through the air, shaking the pagoda violently, making its golden light ripple like waves losing balance. Qiu Chanfeng's body was thrown back with terrifying speed, as if carried by an unstoppable current of power. The pagoda, instead of protecting him, actually pressed against Qiu Chanfeng's own body, trapping him under a heavy burden so that he did not even have time to raise his hands to fight back. "Aaaahhh!!!" Qiu Chanfeng screamed, his voice hoarse and

Ziyan Rouxi, Long Murtamshin, and Xiao Leng froze in place. Their chests felt tight, as if crushed by a giant stone. They knew very well that Xiao Tian's words were the truth. However, their hearts rebelled, rejecting that bitter reality. All this time, Xiao Tian was not just a friend, not just a leader, but the center of steps that guided their direction. How could they possibly leave him alone in this kind of death abyss? Their fingers clenched tightly until their knuckles turned white. The muscles of their arms tensed, as if wanting to resist that decision. However, Xiao Tian's gaze shattered all determination. There was something much deeper behind the look in his eyes, not just strength, but a request born from the desire to keep them alive. It was not a look that could be refuted. "You must live," Ziyan Rouxi's voice broke, hoarse with tears that she could no longer hold back. Tears flowed freely, mixed with blood stains on her face. Each drop was like a knife that carved new

Long Murtamshin's face instantly turned pale. He muttered softly with wide eyes. "A demon..." That word escaped his lips, heavy and filled with fear. The creature that now resided in Qio Ren's body continued in a mocking tone. "Kids, why do not you use your means too? Do you want to let me face this kid alone? If so, you will only become my food after I am done with him." His words were like a whip, slapping directly at the self-esteem of everyone there. Zanfang responded with a cold snort. His eyes narrowed, his gaze full of contempt. "Demon, do not be too arrogant. As the only disciple of the Heavenly Peak guardian, how could I not have the means? However, I am not like you." Those words were immediately followed by action. Zanfang did not summon creatures from a scroll, nor did he borrow an foreign body. He chose a more dangerous path: burning his own bloodline. In an instant, golden flames ignited from his pores, enveloping his entire body like a living sea of fire. His body tr

Zanfang's face turned dark, the veins on his temples seemed to tense, his eyes burning with hatred. "Damn it, you bastard! I will tear your mouth! Do not think that just because you have a strong physical body, I do not have the means to kill you!" His voice cracked, spreading a pressure that made the air feel dense. He then turned to Qio Ren and Qiu Chanfeng. His gaze was sharp, full of urgency. "Use all your means! Do not hold back anymore. If we do not kill him, then we will die!" The two looked at each other. Their expressions were hard, jaws locked, as if they had just made a difficult decision. Qiu Chanfeng took a deep breath, straightening his body. Qio Ren, on the other hand, stared straight ahead, his eyes sharp like a newly sharpened sword blade. "Zanfang," Qio Ren said flatly, coldly, every word full of pressure. "It seems the pill you gave is useless against him. But that does not mean I do not have the means to kill him." That sentence shook the atmosphere. Qiu Chanfe

"Zanfang, what exactly do you want?" Xiao Tian asked, his tone cold, without showing the slightest fear. Zanfang's evil smile widened even more. His face, which from the beginning was a false form of formation, now looked even more sinister, contrasting with the words that came out of his mouth. "Do not pretend, Xiao Tian. I know the golden phenomenon that covers the sky, the golden mountains that appear, all of that comes from your hands. You are the one who triggered the inheritance of Heavenly Peak. And now, if your friends and your lover want to stay alive, there is only one thing you need to do. Tell me how you created that phenomenon." "Oh, so that is your goal." Xiao Tian's voice sounded cold, but inside there was a sharp cynical tone, like a mocking that pierced the opponent's ears. "I did not expect the disciple of the Peak guardian to be so despicable. I want to know, are you moving on your own initiative, or because of your master's orders?" "You do not need to know," Za

For a moment, no one dared to breathe loudly. All eyes were fixed on that token. They knew it, no one did not. It was a token belonging to Xiao Jian, the ruler of the Divine Lightning Fire Galaxy, a symbol of the highest authority that could not be disturbed. The atmosphere that was originally full of angry vibrations, now turned into a terrifying silence. Even the wind seemed to stop blowing. Everyone knew, if Xiao Qinyan pressed that token, they would witness the figure of the strongest galaxy ruler taking action. The person who erased the Siyuhan God Palace from the cultivation world. *** When the atmosphere outside Heavenly Peak was still filled with tension, inside the secret world, Zanfang continued to fly leading the way in front of the group. His movements were calm, as if he really knew the direction to go. However, for Xiao Tian, that calmness actually raised more doubts. Every step of Zanfang felt like part of a neatly arranged charade, not a determination born from dee
