“Where did you steal this from?”

Nicolas was so appalled by the question that he took a step back.

“What do you mean?"

"What I mean,” the cashier jabbed his fingers on the counter just beside the card, “is that, how were you able to get this card? Who did you steal it from?”

"I didn't steal the card," Nicolas responded with a deep frown. “I didn't steal anything. It's mine.”

“Then it's a fake,” he sneered. "How dare you replicate this? You know that's a big crime, don't you? It could get you in jail."

"How dare you!” Nicolas shot back, infuriated. "How dare you baselessly accuse me. You didn't even try the card yet you have the audacity to announce it as a fake and tag me a criminal.”

“I also have the audacity to call the security and drag your poor ass out of here." He snorted. “Did you even look in the mirror before you stepped out of whatever she'd you live in to act out your ill plan?” He made a gagging sound.
