She whispered, almost to herself, “This can’t be true. Nolan is dead.”

She turned to Zahir, her gaze was filled with confusion. “I mean… you ensured that he was dead, right?”

Zahir’s jaw tightened. He swallowed hard, but he nodded slowly. “My men… they killed him. They made sure there was no trace. His body was dumped. Gone.” His voice was firm, but there was a crack of uncertainty now.

Evelyn frowned, not quite believing her own words. She quickly glanced back at the phone screen. “Tap on the news feed. Let’s see if

Or the part where you said your father was senile?”Dan stuttered again. “My Lord, we didn’t mean to—those were just emotional outbursts. We didn’t really mean to go that far. It was a moment of weakness.”Their lawyer, stood but said nothing. His lips moved as if searching for the right words, but no sound came out. He looked down at his desk, then at the Strauss brothers, and finally at the judge. Defeat was

He wore a black suit, clean shave, and an expression that meant business. He carried a silver laptop and a black box filled with files, flash drives, and two mobile phones.“My Lord,” Jethro began, plugging the laptop into the court’s projector system, “everything I’m about to show has been verified by third-party forensic experts. And I swear by my honor, nothing here has been fabricated.”The first slide popped up on the screen — a screenshot of an email exchange.“These are emails between Dan Strauss and Merrick Strauss,” Jethro explained. “They planned this. They agreed to hire a private hacker to tamper with the company’s internal audit system, making it look like Nolan was moving funds illegally.”The judge raised an eyebrow. “Are these emails verified?”J

The evening was quiet, the lights were dim, and the heavy curtains blocked out the world outside.Inside the grand sitting room, six men sat around a wide table. Among them were Dan and Merrick Strauss — the sons of the late Timothy Strauss, founder of Timo Fintech. Their faces were sharp with ambition, and their eyes burned with a hunger that could not be hidden.Jadan Perkins cleared his throat. "I hope we all understand what’s at stake. If this is going to work, we need to move fast."Dan leaned forward, his voice was low and tense. "Nolan is out of prison. Someone bailed him. But let’s not act like we don’t know the truth — he’s got too much power. Power that should’ve been ours. We made one mistake — one damn mistake — and Dad handed him the company like a gift."Merrick nodded grimly. "We didn’t deserve exile for that. We were young. We
