Tony is A General? Really?

People were amazed at what Tony just did.

Their eyes widened. It looked like their chins were going to fall off and fall to the floor.

"Tony, what are you doing?!" Sasha snapped him.

"You bastard! That’s a super expensive necklace!" Josh shouted at him.

"You're dead, Tony! You broke the necklace! Now you have to pay for it yourself! Don't involve us!" said Josephine.

All eyes were now on Tony. Two million dollars. How could a poor, jobless guy like him pay such compensation to Bobby?

“How dare you break it, you bastard! ” Bobby barked. Though he got these jewelries from one of his friends and he actually cost nothing, he couldn't bear Tony be disrespectful to him!

"Well, I just did it."

Standing straight before Bobby, Tony stared at him back, folding his arms.

"Stop pretending, you trash! I know you wouldn’t have such an amount of money to pay me. Even if I give you ten years, it's impossible for a useless man like you to get the money," Bobby added, rolling his eyes arrogantly, smiling crookedly.

“So, I will give you an offer. I’ll be kind and generous to you because I respect Grandma Tiffany and Jade. In exchange for the compensation money, kneel down to me and call me Young Master Bobby. If you do that, I'll consider your two million dollar debt paid!” closed Bobby.

Kneel down to Bobby?

Tony snorted with scorn.

“What the hell are you waiting for, Tony? Hurry up, kneel down to Bobby! You don’t have any better option, do you?” said Sasha.

“Just do it, Tony! Be responsible for what you did!” Josephine joined in.

Bobby smiled at Tony triumphantly, thinking that he already won the game Tony tried to play.

But at that moment, suddenly, the front door of the villa opened loudly, drawing people's attention there in an instant.

Someone in an army uniform came in. After scanning the room, he walked quickly over to where Tony and Bobby were standing.

The soldier bowed almost ninety degrees, roaring, "We beg you to come back, General! We really need you to win the war!"

Of course, what the soldier did stunned the people in the room.

"What did he say? General? Who did he mean?"

"Maybe Bobby. There's no way he meant the poor Tony."

"Well then, it means Bobby even has a great reputation in the military too. Even this soldier just called him General!"

"Incredible! Our family status will really be elevated instantly if Jade marries Bobby!"

That's how people speculated. They didn't know that their guess was wrong.

Bobby himself looked at the soldier in confusion. He didn't know him.

Calmly, Tony approached the hunched soldier. People were now watching him, guessing what he was going to do.

"Lift your face, Mark!" Tony said, sternly.

People were increasingly confused by what they saw, especially as the soldier did what Tony asked.

"Why did you come here? Didn't I tell you earlier that I wouldn't return to the military?"

Tony's voice sounded different than usual. It's heavier and more authoritative.

What was happening was becoming increasingly unreasonable in the eyes of the people in the room.

"We really really need you, General. The war in the north is much more difficult than we expected. We will not be able to win this war with our current strength. We need a great leader like you," explained Mark.

"It's none of my business anymore, Mark. You guys just finish it yourselves."

"But, General, if this war lasts too long, the country's stability could be disrupted. The security of this country is at stake—"

"Enough, Mark! I don't want to hear anything more about it!" Tony interrupted, showing his palm.

Tony looked at Mark angrily. Three years ago, he left the military after a long conflict between him, a young, prospective, and charismatic general, with Joe, the supreme leader of the military at that time.

Tony was extremely disappointed by Joe who decided to demote him due to a fake crime made by several corrupt senior generals who were afraid that Tony would reveal their plan to do a coup with the help of foreign spies.

Now, no matter what Mark offered to get him back to the military, Tony would instantly refuse it.

Realizing that, Mark could only look at Tony in frustration.

After moments of silence, Mark sighed. He then took something out of his chest pocket.

A card. An extraordinary black card with a gold chip on it.

"General Joe asked me to give this to you. If you really can't return to the military, at least accept this card. This is yours," said Mark, holding out the black card with the air of a soldier.

Now it was Tony who sighed. Even though he was reluctant, he took the card.

“We still hope that you will somehow change your mind, General. And until that time comes, you can count on us. Me and my troops will always be ready to help you whenever you need us,” Mark continued.

“And one more thing, I think you need to know that General Joe told me personally that he regretted his decision three years ago. He just realized that he should not have sided with them and tried to demote you,” said Mark again.

Tony looked at Mark in annoyance. He really talked a lot and it irritated him.

"Go away, Mark! You shouldn't be here!" said Tony.

Respectfully, Mark gave Tony a military salute, but Tony did not return the gesture.

Mark turned around and left, leaving the people in the room stunned.

After Mark left, the attention of the people at the party returned to Tony.

If earlier they thought Bobby was whom the soldier meant by General, now they doubted their assumption.

Obviously, the soldier had been talking to Tony, and he called him General.

But what did that mean?

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Suddenly, Bobby clapped his hands. He continued to clap while smiling and shaking his head.

"Amazing, Tony! Amazing! Are you so intent on tricking people at this party? Amazing! Really really amazing!" Bobby said.

"What do you mean, Bobby?" Tiffany asked.

"This trash, Grandma, was just playing a role with the man in the army uniform earlier. I don't know how much he paid the guy, but I'm pretty sure the uniform is a fake one. He isn't even a soldier, just an ordinary person. Their conversation just now has been arranged to give the impression that this poor Tony is actually a great person. How funny! Hahahaha.."

Bobby's inconsequential explanation was able to instantly change the atmosphere in the party room.

People who once suspected that Tony was the General now sneered at him. Rumblings were heard everywhere in the room.

To them, what Bobby just said made much more sense than what they had clearly seen earlier.

"Oh, so that's it! Damn you, Tony! What do you really want? How dare you try to trick me!" Tiffany attacked Tony, looking at him with burning eyes.

"What's wrong with you, Tony?! You really embarrass us!" Sasha cursed him.

Josh looked at Tony with wide eyes. He seemed too angry to say anything now.

"Tony, is that true? You paid that guy just now to treat you as if you were a general?" Jade whispered, leaning closer to Tony and looking at her husband worriedly.
