I woke up and I saw Jonas staring at my face. " Are you alright? You have a lot of explanations to do. how do you manage to stay alive? No one has ever survived the fall as you did. Talk to me." Jonas stared at my face demanding an explanation

" The doctors said I was just lucky to survive," I replied holding my head

" That is all? don't give me that crap. You had better start talking or do you have any other friends aside from me? Jonas asked

" If I told you, would you believe me?" I asked, collecting the ice pack from Jonas's hand.

" Try me," he replied and listened.

Jonas smiled and looked at me after hearing my explanation. " You, a grim reaper. Wow! that is so hilarious. you even can see demons. Are you for real?" Jonas asked laughing out loud as water tore out of his eyes.

I looked at him and grinned " I told you, I knew you weren't going to believe me. by the way, who made me unconscious?" I asked looking at Jonas. " Stephan," he replied and looked at me

" Stephan? Is the name supposed to ring any bell?"I asked walking to the fridge to get some water.

Don't tell me you don't know who Stephan is?" Jonas asked fixing his gaze on me.

" No," I said looking at him like the name didn't ring any bell. " Well, I gave you a phone for a reason. you can easily find any student's name and caliber online once you g****e the name. Stephan is Grace's boyfriend. Her fiance!. so, wake up and let the girl be. omg! you even went ahead to kiss her. do you even know what you have done? Now we are going to be on the wanted list on the board. Not to talk of Zaco who is bent on having you killed."

I looked at Jonas and smiled " No one can hurt me. Besides, I noticed this school is run with a lot of money. What do you think about us upgrading ourselves a little bit?" I said looking at Jonas

" Upgrade? What are you talking about. can you please speak up so that I can understand you? " Jonas said gently sitting on the bed

" What do you think about us getting a new ride? And changing our closet. most of my clothes and wear are all rags." I replied glancing towards the cupboard where we hang most of our clothes.

" Are you for real? where did you get the money?" Jonas asked

" I told you I am a grim reaper. I do take on some tasks and get paid." I replied and looked at Jonas

" You? A grim reaper. Can you be serious for once huh?" Jonas replied.

I saw he was having a hard time believing me so I said nothing. I need to make him believe I was a Reaper. " Well, can we at least go and get ourselves some decent clothes and shoes."

" I even heard that Grace birthday is coming up by the end of this week." Jonas said looking at me " Do you know?" he added

" How would I? nobody told me. " I replied and change my clothes. The one I was wearing was stained with my blood.

" Where is the phone I gave you?" Jonas asked with his hand akimbo

I dipped my hands into my pocket and brought out the phone. Jonas opened his eyes in awe. " What did you do with it? do you even know how much this cost? I had to burst my ass off to get it." Jonas shouted at me

" I can just buy another. " i replied with a smile. Money wasn't the problem anymore. " Let's go." I said walking out of the dorm. I swore I had seen a demon right inside the school. " Could it have been Grace's boyfriend? Or Zaco? I didn't see any inside of him when I was human. Or was he possessed recently? " I ket asking myself and I didn't even know Jonas was right beside me. " Dude! what are you thinking about? "

"Nothing." I replied and we waved down a taxi.

" Where to boys?" The taxi man said looking at us through the mirror. " Please take us to the most expensive Shopping mall in town." I said with a smile. Jonas looked at me" What? are you nut? Are we going there to have a view of the place or to buy ourselves some clothes! " he asked looking at me. " Can you just relax? Have got this. " I replied and the Taxi man zoomed off

He packed in front Destin Fashion Mall. I walked towards the entrance while Jonas followed behind me. " Hello sir. how can we be of service?" A young lady walked to us and smiled. We would like to have everything that is good here." I said trying to prove my worth but she looked at me and laughed " Everything is nothing. you need to tell me what you are buying so that I can help you choose." She replied and looked at me again.

Jonas was looking at me with anticipation. He walked towards me and spoke into my ears making me laugh. " Bro, can you just relax." I looked right in front of me and saw Zaco and Flora walking towards us. I furrowed my eye and looked at the lady. " Can you have everybody leave the shopping mall? I and my friend here would like to have the entire mall to ourselves." I looked at the woman and watch Zaco and Flora approaching us.

She walked away to carry my orders while Zaco and Flora got closer. " Look who is here? what are you doing here loser? you do know this a boutique and not some market square." Flora made jest of us

" Well, I need some fancy clothes and here seems to be having my taste." I replied fixing my gaze on Zaco. I noticed I wasn't seeing the demon inside of him. " He is not the one." I said gently to myself

" Please we would need all customers to exit the building and be back in the next one hour due to emergency reason. " I heard a loud announcement and I grinned to myself. " What did you do? " Jonas said into my ears.

" I just demonstrated power and what money can do. " I said with a smirk on my face.

The lady walked closer to us " What will you be buying Mr." She paused looking at my face

" Max.. my name is Max and I a not buying anything until this people here leave the mall." I said looking at Zaco and Flora.

" Can you please exit the building Mr Zaco and Miss Flora. You can please check back when he is done shopping. " The young lady said looking at Zaco

" What! Are you being serious right now? Do you know who I am? Jeez! I can't believe you are blowing me off just because of these beggars. I will have this place pull down before the end of this week. you just wait and see." Zaco shouted in annoyance walking out of Destin Fashion Boutique. I laughed hysterically as I bade both Him and Flora goodbye. Al this time Jonas kept looking at me.

" What would you like to buy Mr Max? "

" Please get me everything that looks fitted for me and my friend. Also, get us matching pairs of shoes." I ordered and sat down. I was behaving more like a rich man. Money do make a man.

Jonas was all over the place. he kept picking everything he had ever wanted and each time he would stare at me to be sure he wasn't picking too much. I smiled occasionally telling him to go ahead with whatever he wanted. After we were done, The young lady looked at us. " How will you be paying? Cash or transfer?" She asked

" My friend here would be paying." I said gently pointing to Jonas. I watch as life slowly drain from his face. " What! Are you kidding me right now?" Jonas asked. staring at me

" Calm down scared cat." I laughed and brought out my card " Here, we would be paying with my card." I said gently handling the card to her. I pressed my pin and Voila! the money was deducted from my account.

A receipt was printed and giving to us. Jonas collected it and looked at the amount. " What! did we just bought a cloth worth $45,000,000." he shouted and quickly covered his mouth

" Can you just flow with the flow? Do you want us thrown out of Grace's birthday party? you should know the type of people that would be coming to grace the occasion. I don't want to look like some beggar at the party." I said pushing the door in front of me open

My gaze met Zaco and Flora waiting outside " You are still here!" I said gently rasing my voice at little bit.

" Why? are you going to buy this space too? And tell me, who have you robbed to be spending money like you work in the central bank." Zaco teased

" Well, you wouldn't believe me if I told you." I said and smiled. Jonas looked at me. I had told him the same thing I was about to tell Zaco. " I am a grim reaper." I said showing off

" Grim Reaper? you!" Zaco said and laughed looking at Flora who also find my words amusing

" When you die. I will be sure to escort you in your way to hell." I said gently walking closer to him

I notice that Flora was looking scared. " Let's go!" she said pulling the tip of Zaco's clothes. " Don't let him frighten you. he is just the nerd and some idiot guy he has always been. Do you think I would be scared of you? you are nothing and would always be nothing. You need to get that fast into your thick skull." Zaco said and looked at me and Jonas

I felt like showing off a little of my powers but then I remembered what the system has told me. " No human must know if your powers." the word rang like a bell in my skull. " See you at school asshole." Zaco said and drove out of the compound.

" Are you really a reaper?" Jonas asked dragging the back behind him. "Do you believe now or you are just asking because I said the same thing to Zaco?" I asked and turn to look at Jonas's face. I could still see he was doubting me and wasn't sure.

" Well, I am a Grim Reaper and I just told you. why do you find it hard to believe me?" I asked looking at Jonas.

He shrugged his shoulders and said nothing. I waved down a car and we entered. " Do you like the clothes?" I asked looking at Jonas who smiled. " Of course I do. I even picked the one we are going to wear to Grace's birthday party this week." Jonas said with a smile

" What do you think about us going in our own ride? That would be awesome right?" I asked looking through some catalogue of exotic cars in my phone

" Are you kidding me right now? Max , are you telling me you get the money to buy all this by just becoming a Grim Reaper?" Jonas stared at me and I laughed

" Are you trusting me now? " I asked with a smile

" You still need to make me believe you that you truly are." Jonas said gently getting down from the car. I got down and paid the cab man. I didn't notice a car was driving at a full speed. It ran me over.

I could feel the bone in my body crack and shattered just like I fell down from the storey building Zaco pushed me from.

I heard Jonas shout in despair and ran towards me. I simply got up and looked at the car that hit me. " Run!" I shouted looking at Jonas as the car reversed back chasing us
