Back at the HIDDEN GATE', Lucas followed Simon to where his father lives, Simon went to a safe and inputted a key code and he brought out a safe..

“Leader, here is what my father kept for you”.

“Oh, let me see”.

Lucas took the safe and opened it. What was in the safe was a book written on it was THE BLACK BOOK..

It holds an ancient secret of power that can lead to global destruction.

Lucas took the book and tried to recall some past events that transpired but he had a very severe headache that made him sweat..

“Ah!”

“Leader!”

Simon tried to come forward but he was pushed back by an invincible force.

Everything calmed down after Lucas dropped the book down.

“That was close, I can't believe I still have a lot of memory that I haven't recovered, at least I now know where to start from”

Lucas took the next object which is a short dagger that has a wolf symbol, he remembered this dagger has a long History that can be traced back to ancient time.

He knew this dagger was his but the history was still a blur in his memory..

Lucas took the dagger, it trembled like recognizing its long lost friend..

Lucas mummured “old friend, it's been a while”

Back at the WILLS FAMILY, the butler came forward to meet the family head, Jeffery WILLS and told him about the latest update concerning the Williams family. One of the TREMENDOUS THREE..

“Sir, we just got an update that the council sent Robb to the William family to solve the crisis that is befallen that, I also confirmed that it happened in our WILLS COOPERATION concerning Mistress Samantha and Young Master Bryan..”

“Bryan was crippled by a young man called Lucas Jordan and he defeated corba, one of the number 3 and killed Mr Black” the butler whispered into Jeffery's ears.

Jeffery kept quiet and listened because he was aware of the update from his daughter but he wasn't still calm because he knows the strength of the council. He knows who there backer his and what type of force it represent

“Just let me know how it goes while we await for our benefactor”

“Yes sire”

Jeffery knows it won't be easy but since his family choose to stick to Lucas Jordan, he believed a man has to take a gamble if he wants to stand tall and walk out of this constraint

Samantha came to his dad because she knows from his composure that something is amiss..

“Dad!Will Mr Lucas be fine?”

Jeffery looked at his daughter dotingly and smiled

“Silly lass, don't you know who he is, he is unrivaled and he promised to come over , so have some faith in him.. or don't tell me you are already falling for him huh?”

Samantha just blushed and her face was red

“Dad, what are you saying”

Everyone in the hall was surprised about what was going on between Father and daughter but they didn't have the courage to ask.

Samantha's mom (Amanda) was not composed as the rest, you can tell she has been restless since she heard about the name of Lucas Jordan, the devil.

She took an excuse and left the hall to the rest room.

When she got to the restroom, she looked at the mirror and muttered some few words.

She took out her phone and made a phone call..

“Operation echo, need backup, WILLS FAMILY”

A deep voice came from the speaker..

“Acknowledged… ETA 1hrs”..

She smiled and ended her phone call and went back to the hall..

Back at the HIDDEN GATE', after everything was calm in the study room if the family head, Lucas took the dagger and kept it hooked at his hook of his pocket, he stroked the book and muttered

“Why can't I open you,what secret do you hold.. anyway as time goes I believe I will be able to open you, since I am the one who brought you here for a reason”

He looked at Simon with a cold glance..

Simon retreated back and knelt down,..

“Supreme leader, what is your instruction?”

Lucas looked deeply and spoke softly

“I need full details of the incident that transpired decades ago till date, the forces under the underworld and I want all the hidden locations.. I believe with the resources of your family, that shouldn't be an issue considering the hidden gate reputation right?”

Simon trembled and said respectfully

“Supreme leader, we are at your service and will get it done immediately”

He bowed and left immediately.

Once he was out of the dwelling, he noticed his back was soaked already with sweat, he took his handkerchief from his pocket and wiped it..

If the members of the hidden gate saw this they will be so shocked that it will cause a disturbance in the household..

Simon called the butler immediately and instructed him per Lucas' request and took his phone and dialed a number..

Once the line connected, a voice came that showed signs of tiredness..

“Why have you called?”

“Dad!”

Simon trembled and tears dropped from his eyes, he knew his dad had to take such a decision but it was a harsh one..

Simon composed himself and said softly.

“Dad, the devil is back, he lives and he is here at your dwelling with what he kept for safe keeping”

After a long silence, the voice sounded again..

“I understand, satisfy everything he wants, if my family is destined to shine, he is the only one who can do that”

He ended the call and everywhere was silent..

Simon composed himself and went back j to his meeting hall to meet Bill for an explanation..

Inside the car , on the route to the hidden Gate, Robb sat down on the back sit and closed his eyes, he looked like a master who has faced many challenges..

He said to the driver, faster, I don't want any information to leak out, I want to catch that family unaware and make sure they know the consequences of betraying the council..

The driver matched the acceleration and drove straight to the hidden gate with two cars behind…

The network intelligence of the hidden gate got to know of the incoming danger and went to report to the family head immediately..

Simon came back to Bill and apologized for his earlier actions and Bill just smiled and asked if he needed his help..

Simon paused for a while and looked straight at Bill and told him something that shocked him

“The man who turned the William family into a state of emergency is in my home and he is also the same man who almost destroyed my family decade ago”

Bill was so numb hearing what he was saying before he could recover, the family Butler came running back to Simon

The butler bowed respectfully and said “family head, the council is on their way here with the William family concerning Lucas Jordan”

“Oh!Who did the council send?”

“Robb and the prototype,” said the butler.

“I believe by now they should be at the gate”

Bill recovered and said to the Butler

“So you mean the council has intervened in the case of TREMENDOUS THREE?”

“Yes Sir”

“Interesting, I will like to see what makes the council think they can look down on my HIDDEN GATE', and how will they force me to betray the supreme leader, assemble the elite warrior, is time for the world to understand that a starving Carmel is still stronger than a horse”
