Chapter 3 New discovery concerning the hidden.

As the chief guard approached the king in his throne, he said, "My King, someone is here to see you."

It took a minute for him to respond, "Let him in."

It is well known that the king keeps his word.

The truth is what he always stands by.

He bent his head to greet the man, saying, "Long live my king."

He stands at the height of approximately 189 centimeters, has a pointed nose, curly hair, and a golden bracelet around his wrist.

The king answered, "You can have your seat."

Who are you and how may I be of assistance? inquired of the king.

With grace, the young man introduced himself. They stared at each other for nearly five (5) minutes without saying anything.

The king had been miserable ever since the incident years prior. He always had a frown on his face and got upset at anything that did not look like him.

"Living without him, his beloved son, felt empty to him."

"The reason he loves his son so much is because he is so obedient—he treats him like a father and submits to him as the King."

He prioritizes his father's happiness, according to him.

He chose to hire him at the palace after having second thoughts.

He gave me a scornful look and said, "You can start work tomorrow."

The youth, whose name is "Thaius," answered, "Thanks, my King."

He looked suddenly at his wrist and noticed a golden bangle there.

When he looked closely, he realized that he had previously seen it on his face with his son's wrist. Thaius, sensing that he was staring at him, shifted uneasily.

"Bewildered."

He made the decision to enquire as to how he obtained the golden bracelet.

"It is alright, he said."

I like the bracelet, if I may ask who got it, he said, his expression scrutinized.

I received it as a gift from my closest friend on my 20th birthday.

What happened to your friend? The king said, Can I see him? It sounds like you two love each other.

"Mmmmm."

We love each other, but he is dead, he murmured, tears welling up in his eyes.

"I could not bring myself to take off this wristband, but it serves as a symbol of our friendship until death part us."

He answered, "I can not take it off because I miss him so much and I think he is with me at all times when I wear it."

The king's heart softened upon witnessing his tears.

It made him feel sorry for the young man, having been in a similar circumstance.

It is alright, he comforts you; hurting yourself will not make him come back to life, but it will have an adverse effect on your health. Upon realizing how much he values, misses, and loves his friend, he comes to the conclusion that he is genuinely in love with them.

The king found himself questioning if he had a family.

"Sniffing out"

"He responded slowly."

Indeed, his dad still lives. Thaius said resolutely, "I will do everything to protect the father like mine until the day I die."

He chose to depart after spending some time with the King, but the King cautioned him before doing so.

The King noticed a photograph and a piece of paper where he had been sitting when he departed. He walked over to investigate, asking, "What is that?"

When he arrived, he discovered the photo was upside down.

Pulling out his hand, he thought to pick it up when it fell out of his pocket.

How absurd! He yelled and threw it away.

He turned to see if anyone was watching, but when he saw that no one was, he carefully took the photo and just stared at it. He hugged the picture and muttered, "This is my son."

He said, "Poor thing," hugging the photo, realizing that his son was the friend he had been referring to.

He opened the paper slowly, his heart racing, and as he read the letter's contents, he realized he was crying too much and was losing his vision.

He read it and instantly felt better. Now that he knew why he had been acting that way earlier, he truly believed they were best friends.

Shifting his attention to what had happened, he walked to his throne and sat down.

His face lit up as he remembered what he had said earlier.

He told him, "I have somebody who is ready to protect me and see me as a father." He was glad Thaius had said those things to him.

For all this time, why had not he brought him home? or even walk me through him.

Well, he reasoned to himself, he must have his reasons.

He was unaware that the Queen was keeping an eye on him the entire time. The Queen was staring at him when he turned to look to his left.

"Coughing," he said, grinning at the Queen. In response to his question, "Are you looking for something?" she quickly made her way to her room.

She thought fiercely that they must be talking about something important.

The Queen called the maids, and they bowed their heads in response. "Tell the chief guard that his presence is needed immediately," she ordered.

She nodded her head, thinking, I have to see what they were talking about.

Mr. Williams was spotted sitting in the sitting room reading an article when Scandalous said good evening, sir.

He proceeded to the kitchen, where he stored the large bag of food and fruit that he was holding. Mrs. Williams questioned as she approached him, "Why are you coming now?"

I apologize, Ma. Scandalous apologized by getting down on his knees. She slapped him right away after yelling, "Answer me."

On my way back, I was attacked. Scandalous muttered slowly, hoping not to offend her.

A few days prior, he was harshly canned for no other reason than that he was preoccupied in the kitchen making dinner when she called. Without giving him a chance to speak, she simply entered the kitchen and began cannibalizing him, leaving him covered in injuries.

The electric iron she used on him without cause left a flesh-and-blood hole in his back.

Scandalous is not prepared for any more punishment, and all those things are sufficient to recognize the type of problem he is into.

He expressed regret once more, saying, "I am sorry." She cursed at him, bastard? You are not supposed to talk when I am talking.

She gave him an order to step barefoot on this wire.

Pardon Scandalous's pleading; should I add more to it? She informed him, "You better comply if you want to live," then returned to her seat to sit and watch him.

He tried to remove his leg right away after learning how shocking it was to step on the wire, but he stopped when he heard something.

She said, "Stay there until I tell you to go," and turned to leave.

After noticing his lifeless body on the ground, Mr. Williams, who witnessed what had happened, turned out the light.

He touched him and discovered that he was not complying; as a result, his body stiffened.

Nothing happened despite the numerous times he poured him water.

Now, what will I do? Panicking, he thought.

His anxiety increased when he tried to call his doctor but the call was dropped.

He brought him to a pharmacist in the area, who gave him a prescription.

His framework is inadequate.

Give him a few weeks to recuperate before returning with him. I will see what I can do. He requires medical attention and treatment; otherwise, the results could indicate that he could pass away at any time.

The pharmacist told Mr. Williams, "It looks like he has not been feeding well, which has caused ulcers to him. Please take care of him if you do not want to lose him soon."

Mr. Williams, looking surprised, asked, "Are you saying he is not fit to do any form of work?"

Indeed, the pharmacist answered.

Alright, we are heading out, he mutely said, appearing surprised and perplexed.

He thought as he made his way to his car, this cannot be happening.

Upon arriving home, Scandalous—who was shivering a lot—managed to get into his room; however, Mr. Williams was gracious enough to request that he take the day off since he needed it.

Tomorrow morning, I would like my cars washed and my clothes ironed. When the man arrives, please make sure you give him excellent service and wash the filthy clothes he brought.

Arrange my Waldron and give all of my shoes a wash.

Before following my wife's daily routine order, do not forget to feed my animals. He told him before leaving, "Do whatever she asks you to and please remember, how hardworking you are determines whether you will eat for lunch or not."

Her heart ached to see Scandalous alive because she had not expected to see him move or even breathe.

She thought, staring at him, "I want him dead."
