HUMILIATED

It was a cold evening thrilled with the alarming sensation of wealth, the aura of the hall eluded perfection, lavished with the demeanor of the most influential men and women in California. They were all present in the party of Mr. Flair, the head of the flair family, who was celebrating his fiftieth birthday party.

The hall carried an erratic aura, as everyone danced to the chilling sensation of the music played by the musician. A lot of Mr. Flair’s business associates were available to make his party an honorary one.

All the handmaids, cupbearers and guards, were dressed equally in their finest official attires, except Jack who was treated like trash, even when he was the live in son in-law of Mr. Flair. He was dressed in the worst attire ever imagined, as he had no special raiment scheduled. Jack was asked to serve drinks to the nobles available in the party, since he was a misfit in the eyes of everyone who beheld him.

The flairs were not proud to call Jack their son in-law due to his aura which was mesmerized by poverty, so he was given a chance to witness greatness, by serving in the party.

“Mira, come sit by my side,” Roberto said, as his eyes caught up with Jack, he wanted to make Jack uncomfortable, and extremely vexed, with the help of his wife.

Mira hesitated, but her father gave her a stern look, which drastically warns her to comply, she walked over to Roberto, who began to caress her smooth skin.

“Can’t believe you are pregnant for that dimwit, tell me, what do you really see in him?” Roberto questioned rhetorically.

Jack noticed his moves and began to get uncomfortable, he despised Roberto because of the manner of which he approached his wife of recent. Jack bore everything that was happening, serving his drinks and acting as though he didn’t care, only to avoid trouble.

“Hey loser, get us some drinks here, would you? The table won’t serve itself,” Roberto yelled, throwing a look of disdain to the face of Jack, who rushes over with no hesitation.

Jack knew who Roberto was, he was one of the richest men in California, who happened to be fond of his wife. He knew how dangerous Roberto was, and offending him wasn’t really a great idea, especially when Roberto’s ally, Mr. Flair, was monitoring every movement he made.

“Sorry for keeping you waiting sire,” Jack said, trying to be nice, even when he was offended that his wife was seating with that perverted demon.

“Now listen to me loser, I am not really a gentle man, but I love being gentle on first time meetings, so the next time you make my thirst gland dried again, I’ll make sure that my dogs feed on your carcass, now fuck yourself out of my presence,” Roberto threatened Jack with a glare which took him off balance. Jack attempted to walk away but accidentally stepped on Roberto’s foot.

Roberto gasped, and you could see the tension written all over the perplexed face of Mr. Jack.

“You! warthog, how dare you?” Roberto drastically erected from his seated position, as his legs pushed the seat away, with veins almost popping out of his neck, slamming his palm on the face of Jack, who felt no pain. Everyone in the hall noticed their dilly daddle, but weren’t struck by Roberto’s action, they all saw Jack as a pimp and nothing more, they saw him as a slave, not knowing that he was the actual son in-law of Mr. Flair. Only a few knew.

“I’m sorry Mr. Roberto, please have mercy,” Jack said with a hard look on his face, still trying to bear the jealousy he felt.

Mira pitied Jack but had nothing to say, her father watched them in a satisfied demeanor, and unsatisfying that man on his birthday, was like sitting on the back of a bull. Jack and Mira both loved each other, but due to Jack’s unworthiness, he had no way of defending himself, or defending his wife from the cold hands of her ruthless father and his allies.

That was something he had to bear for getting married to a rich country girl, when he had nothing to prove himself worthy.

“Sorry is all you have to say? Mr. Jack do I have to tell you that, one of my shoes, could actually buy your entire worthless generation, or you feel like because of your marriage with Mira, you are now big.”

Roberto then called his butler to help him take off his shoes, then almost immediately, another pair of expensive shoes were worn on his legs.

“Now I command you Jack, lick those shoes, and I will let you see the light of tomorrow. And when you are done licking them, you could keep them, finally you would have something worth a million dollars.”

Jack glared at Mr. Roberto from the inside, all that was in his mind was that Roberto should go wrath in hell, or probably kiss the devil’s ass. Jack looked across the room and noticed that Mr. Flair was still watching him, he hesitated, but didn’t fail to do what he was asked to do.

Jack knew that if he disobeyed, he would be in grieve trouble with everyone in the Flair family, who couldn’t wait to humiliate him the more.

Few moments later, after all family members except Mira presented their gifts to Mr. Flair, it was time for Mr. Flair’s sons in-law to present theirs.

Max, who was one of Mira’s brother in law, walks up to the place where, Mr. Flair was seated, and presented a white leather glove, worth two million dollars to Mr. Flair, that glove was worn by some of the most-richest men in California, it was a symbol for respect amongst high leveled criminals in the country, designed with some of the most precious gem stones in the world. Mr. Flair appreciates his gift and blessed him.

Everyone in the room awaited Jack’s gift after everyone had given theirs, but unsurprisingly, Jack had nothing to give to Mr. Flair.

“I’m sorry Mr. Flair, but I had no such money to purchase such gifts to you, But, I do have me a song to give unto you as a gift, it’s quite precious, you’ll love it,” Jack begged, but a loud laugh came into the hall.

“Oh Mira, so this is who you choose to settle with huh? Wow, you had nothing to offer, and he has nothing to offer, now how do you intend to be fed and taken care of.”

“Without further undue, since it’s your special day Mr. Flair, I’ll like to present, the first gold gun ever used by my father, the legendary Carlos the great,” As soon as he uttered those words, the entire family gasped, knowing fully well that that gun was worth twenty million dollars, and was held by one of the most valued men in California, the legendary gun master Carlos.

“This is really nice Roberto, I appreciate. I wish my useless daughter finds reasons to love and honor you, but I guess she has been blinded by the poverty of her stupid husband.” Flair said.

After the presentation, Roberto walked over to Jack, and began to hurl insults at him, but Jack counters by pouring a glass of tequila on him, acting like it was an accident.
