Chapter 2

She's here "Oliver peeped through the window to see the light from a bike.The sound of the bike and light suddenly died down on reaching its Destination.That was Anaya's house.

Just as Oliver Peeped through the window,other people within the vicinity also Peeped with fears in their heart praying ceaselessly not to be the next visitor of the black Lady.

That has been the situation in the city of Gezos every night.A strange masked lady on a bike always invade the city and kidnap females.No one knows who she is,all effort to stop the atrocities have proved abortive.Tonight is not an exception,she has arrived once again to take another lady for a purpose known to her alone.

She wore a black outfit which covered all her body,the only placed left uncovered in her body was her two eye.One could see a gun inside a sheath around her waist so as two swords which were crossed at her back.She marched heroically to the door of a house and break it down with her black boot.The door of the house broke,flung to a distance crashing on the floor of the living room.

The noise attracted Mr Dave and his wife on the bed.The husband jumped from the bed,walked to the wall and clicked on the switch putting the light on.Already,the wife had woken too.She stretched on the bed staring at her husband who wore the same color of Pyjamas like herself"What was that noise Honey?" She asked.

Mr Dave never responded rather,he walked to a drawer beside the bed,opened it and brought out a Gun.Seeing the gun,the wife jumped from the bed too"What are you doing with a gun?"She stared into his eye but Mr Dave never said a word.He was busy putting all the components of the gun in order.He inserted several bullet in the gun and cocked it.He glanced at the wife"Keep the children safe"he said and walked out.Mrs Dave need no soothsayer to tell her there is fire on the mountain.He rushed to the children's room immediately to see them sleepy peacefully.She exhaled in deep relieve"Thank goodness"

In another room,Anaya also woke up to the sound of the bang.She was on a night wear too-a bogus trouser and an oversized Shirt,her breast dangled in the cloth as she hurried up from the bed.She rushed to the parent's room to see not only the light on but also the bed was empty "Mum!!"she muttered and hurried to the living room.The sound of her bare foot on the floor was barely audible as she hurried to the stair case.She stopped at the last stair on seeing a masked lady pointing a gun at her father.

"Who the hell are you?Reveal yourself or you're going to receive a bullet on your skull"Mr Davis said pointing a gun at the unknown lady.To show his seriousness,he cocked the gun and shoot at a glass vase beside the lady which shattered on the floor immediately.

The lady glanced at the broken vase and scoffed.She faced him and began to approach unabashedly.Mr Davis stood his ground without moving an inch.He pointed the gun straight at the lady."Take another step and you'll be dead!!"he threatened but the strange lady took several steps toward him."Am not here for you old man!!"She Said.

"I don't care about why you're here,your presence is toxic to this house!"

"Am here for her"She pointed at Anaya on the stair.On hearing that,Anaya took some steps back.

Mr Davis turned to see her daughter at the stair.He turned back,glaring at the lady"She has no business with you,You're not going to touch a hair on her body!"Mr Davis cocked the gun once again.

The lady took another step which makes Mr Davis press the trigger.The bullet hit the lady on the chest but surprisingly there was no scratch on her body.On seeing that,Mr Davis began to quiver,the evidence could be seen from the hand which he used to hold the gun.Even Anaya couldn't believe her eye.

She tried to run away from the stairs but the voice of the Strange lady halt her"Take a step and your father is dead"She threatened, positioning the gun on the father's head.

Tears has engulfed Anaya's eye seeing how his father was being handled roughly by a strange woman.Just then,the mother walked to the scene"What is happening here?"she queried Anaya on the stair."Why are you crying?".

She turned to the direction which her daughter was staring to see her husband at gunpoint"Honey,what's going on?"

"Shut up woman!"The lady hushed.

"Now you come over here!!"

Mrs Davis held her daughter on the wrist"She's going nowhere with you!!"

The strange lady pushed Mr Davis to the floor in such a way he hit his butt on the floor.She walked to the stair and forcefully dragged Anaya away.The mother shouted and struggled with the lady but she was so strong.

Tears dropped freely from Anaya's eye as she was being dragged outside like a sheep to be slaughtered.As the man of the house,Mr Davis struggled up from the floor and grabbed Anaya on the hand but a bullet from the masked lady put him back into serenity.

The parent watched how their daughter was being dragged out like some common criminal caught stealing.They were unable to do anything.What could they have possibly do at gun point.Worst more,the body of the intruder resist bullets.

The strange lady removed a syringe and jabbed it into Anaya's neck.She fell unconscious immediately.She jumped on the bike and strapped Anaya to her back thus preventing her from falling from the bike."Croomm!!! Croomm!!"She put the engine to life and zoomed off.

Meanwhile back to the residence where Oliver was with his girlfriend.They both heard the sound of the gun shot which stir up a tranquility among them.Oliver rushed to the bed and shuffled on his cloth.He walked to the door to go out but Elina blocked the way"Where do you think you're going?"

"Someone's life is at stake,I need to do something".

"Am not going to allow her take another female again tonight,"Oliver added.

"Have you suddenly become Jesus, trying to save people miraculously?"Elina said sarcastically.

"That lady or murderer out there is dangerous.She won't think twice putting a bullet into your heart"she added

"Am ready to die saving a life"Oliver said as an afterthought which rendered Elina speechless.She stared at him in disbelief.

Oliver used the opportunity to exit the room.He rushed outside to hear the sound of the bike coming alive again."Am gonna get you!!"He murmured and look around.Fortunately,he saw a bicycle which was resting on the wall of the building.He took the took the bicycle and jumped on it.He ride, following the direction which the bike went.

He paddled the bicycle in the darkness like his life depended on it.His unbuttoned shirt flew backward due to the night breeze.He followed suite,riding behind the masked lady.One could see an unconscious Anaya behind her.She has been injected hence making her fall into a deep trance.

The masked lady look into the bike mirror to catch a glimpse of Oliver behind.She smiled devilishly and matched on the gear.The bike increased in speed leaving Oliver struggling behind on the bicycle at the rear.

Unfortunately due to the darkness,Oliver never saw what was ahead,he ran into a hole with the bicycle in such a way it flung him to a distance.He crashed unto the ground in such a way his mouth pack some dirty particles.The bicycle hit a tree hence damaging it totally.

Oliver crashed unto the ground with his mouth chopping some dried grasses like common herbivore.He laid on the ground groaning in serious pain"Ahhhh.."he placed a hand on his head due to the banging pain he felt.Bruises could be seen on his body even his clothes tore at some part like one who just escaped from Psychiatric hospital.

He struggled up from the floor still with a hand on his head.He glanced at the direction which the bike went and took some steps only to realise he had a fracture."Damn!!"he muttered."I should have listened to Elina"

That night,he humped home feeling several unbearable pains from all part of his body.Usually,when Oliver return home late, he'll either pass through the window of their house or Sneak into the house with a spare key due to how Strict his parent is.The parents has laid down strict protocols to prevent the children from going out late in the night otherwise get punished but How's he gonna climb the high window of their house when he has a fractured leg.

Nevertheless,he proceeded to the entrance of their house,the house is a modern bungalow with a two story building.One could see flowers at both side before getting to the entrance.Oliver could hear dog bark in the neighbourhood as he stood before the door with a banging heart.Anyone would hear the fast beating of his heart as he knocked on the door.He knocked severally before he heard his father's voice from inside.

Mr Benson,the father was watching the late night news when he heard a knock on the door.He sprang up instantly.He stole a glanced at the wall clock:"2am"

"Who could be knocking at the door by this time"He thought.Just then,Mrs Benson also entered to sew the husband staring at the door."Why are you staring at...."She was about saying but another bang on the door put the rest words back in her mouth.She glanced at the husband.The same thought runs through their mind:"WHO IS AT THE DOOR".

Mr Davis grabbed a domestic weapon,so as the wife.She positioned near the door ready to use the stick she hold on the intruder's head.Mr Davis swung the door opened only to see his son was the one at the door.He scrutinized him from head to toe"Oliver??"he called sarcastically.Hearing the

name,Mrs Oliver came out from where she positioned."Oliver!! What happened to you.I thought you were in your room?"The mother said in total disbelieve.She glanced at the husband"Why are you looking

at me like that woman!"Mr Davis bellowed.

"He's old enough to decide what time he comes home"he added and went into the room."Is that all you're going to say honey?"she said but she never heard the husband voice again.

"You're going to explain why you look like someone who escaped from a psychopathic home tomorrow"she glared at him.Oliver sluggishly dragged his leg into the room.

Meanwhile,the Strange lady drove the Bike for some hours through the dark and shadow of death.She passed through several bushes and forest before she pulled over in front of a Spacious land.The tyre of her bike screeches as she matched the break.The head lamp of her bike illuminated the arena at a close range.One could see nothing but trees and Grasses.The location is at the fringe of Lacanster where people have no idea exist.Suddenly did she unstrapped Anaya and jump down from the bike.She pressed a remote then a building suddenly appeared visible.

The building is called the dome due to how it was built.It was built with a round bottom and has a sharp edge at the top.One could see the reflection of the sky on the transparent glass used to as the wall.

she began to approach the building with Anaya on her shoulder.She pressed another key,the entrance door opened widely to reveal several masked workers dressed in white lab coat.

At a corner of the room were several hospital bed with different females lying on it.The strange lady approach one of the worker"Have her prepared too"she handed over Anaya to him.The worker glanced at the strange lady then back to Anaya who was now resting on his shoulder."Are we going to get her amputed and build her into a machine today?"he asked sarcastically with a tiresome face.

"We have no time to waste Alex,the boss is going to get skin you alive if he had heard you asked that question "The strange lady said from a distance before entering into another room.

"Damn"Alex muttered.He walked to another bed and laid Anaya on it in such a way she faced up.He tied her on both hands and legs ,walked to a table which was filled with different medical instruments.He loaded a syringe with an unknown content then turned back looking very shocked."What!" the syringe feel from his hand as a result of his quivering hand
