"Argh! Why do the bones in my body hurt so much?! Since when does an Unrivaled God Emperor feel pain? W-wait, what on earth is this?"

The roar escaped from a dry, raspy throat. Long Bai, the Unrivaled God Emperor who once shook the Nine Realms and was feared by millions of beings, panted heavily upon the cold, dusty stone floor.

After looking around the place where he lay stretched out on the floor...

"No... This isn't the Immortal World..."

Long Bai tried to push his body up, but an excruciating, stabbing pain felt as though it was crushing all his joints. His trembling hands pressed against the dusty wooden floor.

"This body has no Cultivation? And the natural Qi energy here is exceptionally thin?! I AM A GOD EMPEROR, HOW COULD I EVER ACCEPT TRANSCLOCATING INTO A TRASH BODY LIKE THIS?!"

Before Long Bai could calm the turmoil of his rage and disbelief, the sea of his soul was abruptly struck by force!

BOOOMM!

His head felt as if it had been struck by the Sky-Shattering Hammer. Thousands of fragmented foreign memories flooded in violently, forcing their way in and forcibly merging with his soul. Long Bai groaned in agony, clutching his head tightly as image after image from the past of this body's owner spun wildly like a tempest.

Lucas...

The name echoed powerfully within his mind.

The owner of this body was named Lucas Wine. He was no ordinary person, but the biological son of the Head of the Wine Family—one of the most influential aristocratic families. However, instead of being respected, his existence was regarded as a black stain tarnishing the family's great name.

For Lucas was born from the womb of a woman who was merely a lowly servant in the Wine residence—an unintentional "mistake" by the Family Head that produced an illegitimate child.

One by one, those dark memories battered Long Bai's mind...

The disgusted, cold glares from his own biological father, who never once acknowledged his existence...

The painful scoffs and taunts from his half-siblings, who treated him worse than a guard dog...

The relentless bullying at school, where his classmates turned him into an easy target to be spat on, humiliated, and beaten black and blue...

"Tch..."

Long Bai slowly lowered his hands. Silence crept into the dilapidated room as he finished digesting all of Lucas's tragic memories.

The initial shock and disorientation that had possessed the God Emperor completely evaporated. His once confused gaze turned icy cold and razor-sharp. He looked down at his own thin hands, covered in bluish bruises and unhealed cuts or scrapes.

"Lucas Wine..." Long Bai muttered softly. His voice was no longer frantic, but flat and laden with a terrifying threat.

"Your life truly was miserable. Born from the blood of an influential family, yet treated worse than trash simply because of your mother's lineage—and you just accepted it?"

Long Bai clenched his fists tightly until his knuckles turned white. The physical pain seemed to lose all meaning compared to the flaming fury that began to consume his chest.

"But rest easy. For now, the soul of Long Bai—the former Ruler of the Nine Realms residing within your body—will transform this trash called Lucas into a Lucas respected by all! Even by that bastard father of yours!"

A cold, utterly ruthless sneer slowly formed on the corner of his pale lips.

"Whoever has spat on you, oppressed you, and made this body bleed... I will make sure they pay for every drop of your tears and blood with their lives!"

Yet, amidst his cold proclamation and overflowing killing intent, Long Bai's movements suddenly halted. His clenched fingers slowly loosened, and his sharp gaze turned into a furrow of confusion.

A fundamental question had just struck his consciousness: Why?

Why would the soul of a supreme entity who had stood atop the peak of the Nine Realms be cast into the frail body of a youth in a world with such thin Qi energy? What had actually happened before darkness claimed his consciousness?

Long Bai closed his eyes, digging deep into the memory crevices of his own soul. He searched for the final moment of his journey in the Immortal World.

Instantly, the vision of the final battle replayed vividly.

BZZZZZT! BOOOOMM!

He remembered that day. The day he stood alone at the summit of the Nine Gods Mountain, surrounded by a boundless sea of pitch-black clouds. The day he decided to break through the ultimate boundary of cultivation perfection: challenging the Heavenly Dao!

Back then, the Divine Tribulation Lightning—the ultimate punishment of natural law capable of annihilating millions of souls in an instant—struck his body repeatedly. Yet, far from being intimidated, Long Bai merely laughed out loud. With just a single swipe of his finger coated in Primordial Aura, he shattered those rolling lightning laws into pieces!

His success in subduing the universe's greatest threat caused his arrogance to skyrocket to the highest point in history. He raised his clenched fist toward the cracking sky and unleashed an arrogant roar that shook the entire Immortal Dimension:

"I, the Unrivaled God Emperor, am the true master of the heavenly laws! No law is permitted to stand above me! All Heavenly Daos must bow and yield to me!"

Recollecting those words, the corner of Long Bai's lips tugged upward into a bitter, self-deprecating smile that carried both irony and mockery at himself.

"Hah... The Heavenly Dao clearly didn't take kindly to my arrogance," Long Bai muttered, shaking his head gently.

He now realized what had transpired. The moment he uttered those audacious words, the enraged Heavenly Dao mobilized the entire will of nature to trigger an explosion of Divine Karma. The hatred and retribution of natural law had shattered his Immortal body, severed the bonds of his soul, and cast his remaining consciousness through space and time—until he ultimately washed up inside the body of Lucas Wine.

"You destroyed my grand physical vessel and banished my soul into this vessel of trash just to prove that you are still in control?"

Long Bai looked up, gazing at the rotten, hole-ridden wooden ceiling as if his sight pierced right through the roof toward the hidden will of nature behind the night clouds.

His eyes no longer showed panic. The arrogance that once led to his downfall surged forth once more, but this time it was far calmer, colder, and infinitely more dangerous.

"You are gravely mistaken, Heavenly Dao..." Long Bai whispered with a faint, piercing chuckle.

"If you think this method will break my will and force me to my knees, then you have just made the greatest mistake of your entire existence."

He straightened his wounded back and sat cross-legged on the dusty wooden floor. Though the Qi energy in this world was pitifully sparse and Lucas's meridians were ruined beyond measure, to an entity who had once subdued divine lightning, it was nothing more than a minor hurdle.

"You threw me into the dirtiest mud, so from within this very mud I shall crawl back up. Even if not as Long Bai... Borrowing this body under the name of Lucas... I WILL TRAMPLE YOU BEFORE THE FACE OF ALL OTHER GODS!"

The moans of the bodyguards sprawling across the marble floor were dismissed as nothing more than a passing breeze by Lucas. Even so, the continuous interference from these mortals was beginning to stir a tinge of annoyance in his mind.Maintaining focus while controlling Qi Manifestation required absolute concentration, especially in this filthy mortal realm. The Earth's atmosphere was dreadfully scarce in pure spiritual energy, causing the energy reserves within Lucas's newly awakened dantian to deplete rather quickly. Every single drop of Qi he expended right now was exceedingly precious."Lose focus for even a second because of your barking, and this ice poison will counterattack and destroy his heart," Lucas whispered cold-heartedly.With a short exhale, Lucas extended two fingers on his left hand upward. Though his energy reserves were limited, he was forced to sacrifice a small amount of pure Qi to establish a territorial boundary so no more insects would disturb him.Whoosh!A

Thud! The moment the first Qi needle drove straight into the Tanzhong point, the resulting reaction was utterly terrifying. The scorching heat of Lucas's pure energy collided wildly with the layer of ice poison that had crystallized along the meridians of Richard’s heart. The violent clash between these two opposing forces triggered a tremendous internal shockwave."AARRRRGGGHHHH!"A piercing, breath-severing scream burst freely from Richard's throat. The patriarch's eyes bulged almost out of their sockets, while the veins on his neck and forehead bulged with a bluish tint. He clutched his bare chest, which was now steaming with hot white vapor mixed with a frigid frost. His sturdy frame convulsed violently against the marble floor, shaking uncontrollably as if struck by tens of thousands of volts of electricity."Father!"Evelyn screamed hysterically. Her entire mental defense collapsed in an instant upon seeing her father groaning in agony and vomiting a thick clump of pitch-black,

Evelyn clenched her teeth together so tightly they ground. A fierce conflict raged within her chest—torn between sheer terror for her father's safety and an unextinguished rage toward the mysterious youth before her. Yet, the resolute look in Richard’s eyes and his increasingly labored gasps forced Evelyn to yield. With slow, heavy movements, Evelyn gently supported Richard’s body to lean against a nearby marble pillar, roughly wiping away her tears. She took a few steps back, but her gaze never drifted from Lucas for even a fraction of a second. Her beautiful frame was tense, ready to burst into a volley of curses the moment the youth showed even the slightest suspicious gesture."If you touch the wrong point or make Father’s condition any worse," Evelyn whispered in a trembling, low threat, "I swear I will never let you go."Lucas didn't even turn his gaze to acknowledge her threat. To him, the bluster of a mortal girl was nothing more than a passing breeze. His eyes remained locked

Upon hearing the condition spoken by Lucas so casually, the atmosphere in the magnificent hall of the Vance Family instantly froze. The name "Wine Family" was no ordinary name in Hakward City. They were one of the four top conglomerate giants, an economic pillar possessing political influence as well as a deeply entrenched, octopus-like network of mercenaries. Calling for the destruction of the Wine Family was tantamount to sparking an all-out war that could flatten the entire city!"Ugh-- W-WHAT?!"Richard's eyes bulged wide. The overwhelming shock hit his consciousness so hard that it triggered a violent surge in the cold poison within his heart's meridians. His blood flow was severely obstructed, burning his chest with unbearable pain."Cough! COUGH! COUGH-COUGH!"A violent coughing fit erupted from Richard's throat. The stoic frame of the conglomerate head bent double in agony, and this time, fresh, dark-red blood splattered across the polished marble floor.CRASH!"Father!" Evely

Upon hearing the answer coming from Lucas' mouth, Richard's brow knitted even deeper. A cold dry chuckle seeped through the gaps of his lips, cutting through the tense silence hanging over the hall."Slightly proficient in the art of medicine? And fighting?" Richard repeated in a tone brimming with skepticism. He tilted his head slightly, staring at Lucas like a senior examiner listening to an absurd joke from a job applicant."Being young and confident is good. But arrogance without a foundation will only make you look stupid," Richard stated firmly, his pressuring aura thickening even further."This world operates by clear rules. A martial arts practitioner spends their entire life just to hone their reflexes and combat techniques. Meanwhile, a medical expert requires decades of study, research, and clinical experience to cure severe illnesses. You want to convince me that at your young age, you have mastered two such extreme fields simultaneously?"To Richard Vance—a man who had na

Evelyn's face instantly flushed, consumed by a sudden burst of rage as she listened to the vulgar insults and baseless accusations from her father's chief bodyguard. Her beautiful eyes narrowed sharply, radiating a flash of emotion capable of freezing anyone before her. She stepped forward, standing directly in front of Marco with her chin raised in the full arrogance of the Vance Family's sole heiress."Shut your mouth, Marco!" Evelyn snapped in a piercing, icy tone, her voice echoing loudly across the estate courtyard."You are merely my father's head of personal security! Your duty is to secure the outer perimeter and execute the Master's orders—not to meddle in my personal affairs, let alone question my decisions!"Marco was somewhat taken aback by Evelyn's fierce reaction, but his ego and position as the estate's trusted veteran made him reluctant to back down."But Young Lady! The Master entrusted me with your safety! Bringing a youth in a tramp's uniform and with an obscure ide
