It was a happy reunion for all of them.

"You would never suffer again son. I apologize for all the years you had to experience such", she kissed his forehead, "and thank you again, Laurel", she said to her friend.

"Oh please. Felix is a sweetheart. He's still my son. Would always be", she said.

"What of Father?" Felix asked.

"He has business to take care of", she stroke his hair, "but we'd go see him once his back or he can come down here if you want. Though we'd love for you to come home", she said.

"Home? You don't live here?"

It was Laurel who chuckled, he turned to her confused.

"Your parents have nothing to do with a small town like this one", she said.

"Well we have our main residence at Mayville, if that's what you're asking", Andrea shrugged like it was nothing, which actually it was.

"Main residence? There are more?" He asked shocked.

"Your parents are rich Felix. Filthy rich you can say", Laurel chuckled.

Of course that would be the only explanation for having their main residence in Mayville. Commoners cannot afford that place, he knew it, everyone did.

"There's much to keep up on the family and the family business but now, let's go out and have fun. I've missed my son", Andrea pulled his cheek playfully.

"God! I missed having fun", Laurel giggled.

That might be the first time Felix would see her giggle like a teenager.

Andrea picked up her bag and Felix couldn't take his eyes off his birth mom. She was a real beauty.

They stepped out and into Andrea's car. How did he not notice that car when he came home??

They drove off to a hotel. The costliest hotel in town. They lived in Ravenwood and it had a lot of tourist attractions, so they had many tourist visiting. The hotel hosted the rich ones. 

Felix had never been inside.

Andrea packed and they strode in. The place was really huge and beautiful. The whole place was decorated in white and gold. He could get satisfied from just staring.

The hotel had a five-star restaurant at the ground floor where people could discuss business, relax and eat.

They made their way to the restaurant and was giving a VIP booth 

With the way the whole place was and the elegant fragrance that hung in the atmosphere, he wondered how rich his parents were to afford a meal at such a place.

It was nighttime outside but with the brightest on the inside, one wouldn't know. In here, was a whole new world on it's own.

A waitress walked up to them, she greeted Andrea politely but when she turned and met face with Laurel and Felix, her countenance changed, she greeted them either ways because of Andrea's presence.

They placed their orders and the waitress left to go get it.

She returned with champagne and glasses to keep them busy while their order was being processed.

She poured the wine into the glasses and left them afterwards. They conversed and laughed over random stuffs till laurel felt pressed. 

"I really need to use the bathroom, Andrea",she said to her friend, "which way is it?" She asked.

Andrea laughed, "well me too. We'd be back son. Enjoy, get anything you want", she said to Felix and he nodded as they left.

Felix sat in gratitude and awe. 

For a second, he thought it might be a dream and morning might come soon when he has to wake up. He was still lost in thoughts when the waitress arrived with their meals.

She hissed at him when she couldn't find Andrea and Laurel but he didn't care. 

When she had placed their meals and turned to leave, Felix called her attention.

"Can I get another bottle of the wine please?" He requested but she simply scoffed.

He didn't understand what he said wrong. He did add please at the end of his request to show politeness.

"Poor people just don't know when to be grateful", she hissed at him.

"What do you mean by that", Felix got offended.

"I know that woman was only being kind to you and probably your mother, but you should know your place. If she's trying to feed you for tonight don't milk her dry. Without her, you can't even eat here. Just take a look at yourself", she scoffed.

"What's your business with me?" Felix got angry, "your job is to take the orders of customers, isn't it?"

She laughed, "I earn more than you. I don't look or smell dirty like you do but atleast I'm truthful to myself that I won't be able to afford a bottle of water at this place, but you ungrateful soul. Well, enjoy. You might never get the opportunity again"...

"Yet he sits while you serve him", a voice joined them. It was Andrea.

The waitress cleared her throat before turning with a smile, "ma'am your meal", she bowed slightly.

Laurel went ahead and took her seat beside Felix.

"Don't. You. Dare. Move", she ordered the waitress that was trying to leave.

The waitress turned to stare at her.

"You disgusting little creature", she slapped her hard across the face. Laurel gasped.

The waitress held her cheek.

Andrea walked to her seat and took her phone out of her bag, she dialled a number.

"Get your ass down here Connor", she spoke into the phone and Felix could see the horror on the waitress's face.

In a few minutes, a young man in a suit that seemed around his mid-forties rushed in.

"Mrs. Stark, I didn't know you had returned", he bowed with a bright smile. He turned to Felix and laurel.

"Are these your guests, do you want me to..."

Andrea cut him off with a raise of hand.

Felix was dumbfounded at his mom's power.

"Do you love your job Connor?" She asked and the young man looked scared.

"Yes ma'am", he nodded.

"And you wish to keep working here?"

"Yes ma'am"

"I do not recall my husband and I putting you in charge of this place so you could employ insolent and senseless scavengers", she spat in anger.

The manager was lost but the waitress went on her knees immediately.

"Forgive me ma. Please forgive me", she cried.

"I want this thing fired effective immediately", she stated with a tone of finality.

Felix and Laurel gasped.

"Ahhh! Please! No!" The waitress begged and held onto Andrea but the manager pulled her away.

"Yes ma'am. I apologize for her inappropriate attitude towards you" 

"Oh no no! She dared insult my son", Andrea said and Felix couldn't feel prouder.

The waitress turned to Felix who had his glass of champagne in his hands.

Her tears had stained her face, "forgive me sir. Please spare me. I have a sick mother and bills to pay" she fell at his feet but with the force, it shook Felix's hands and his drink spilled on him.

"Oh no! Forgive me", she began cleaning his trousers.

"Stop", Felix held her hand.

"Are you trying to molest my son before my very eyes too?"

"Connor get this thing out of here if you don't want to be next!" She yelled.
