CHAPTER 42

Magaret sat upright and leaned in closer to him, her expression unwavering. "Serena!" she exclaimed.

"Serena?" Harvey questioned, his eyebrows raised in surprise.

Without skipping a beat, Margaret continued, "Serena is my daughter, and I want her back. But she refuses to speak or see me ever since she got this idea that you were on her side."

"As much as I hate to have to seek your help, I am not quite sure I am left with much of a choice, I need you to push her away so she has no choice but to come back to me, crying."

Harvey let out a dry laugh, signaling for a waitress to bring him a Winston cocktail. He found Margaret's request amusing and wanted to enjoy the show with a drink. Turning to face her, he challenged, "Why the hell would I do that for a mere gift box?"
