this thing about her father dying doesnt make any sense. Ive never read any other werewolf story where the dad has to die like this.

Most of the time, when a mated werewolf dies, the loss is so great that their mate dies as well. I think their dad is planning to kill her, knowing that it will end his life, too. So he waited as long as he could and made sure everything was in place to ensure his kids were taken care of.
So many tears …. I’m sorry for doubting you Brian…. I hate he has to die. I wish he could just divorce her, but it doesn’t work that way I suppose. However, he survived his fated mated dying and he’s an Alpha, why can’t he survive rejecting Ann?

The funny thing is the owner and founder of Yale University's daughter is best friends with my family. Seeing it used in stories is interesting
the lore has a rule where alphas can alpha order their Lunas. it is to make sure there is some sort of fair balance in ruling (e.g. the alpha may be a dick and the Luna is the one grounding him. it can't happen if the dick alpha alpha commands his Luna to follow everything he says)
why not just kill Ann instead so he doesn't have to die not fair that he got to die and she gets to live. love the story so far and can't wait to read it all

Ok, daddy Alpha may have redeemed himself for Ann's horrible self. Wonder why he couldn't command her to be a better person unless it doesn't work on mates? He is still her alpha though. This throws so many more storylines out there. Excited to see where it goes as I can't predict it
