Lord Moretti didn’t answer Alex.

He acted as if he hadn’t even seen him. With a flick of his hand, he declared, “Tonight’s business is over. Everyone out—unless you want to die here.”

The room froze. Customers turned pale.

Everyone knew the stories—when Lord Moretti cleared a club, it wasn’t just an order.

It was a warning. Too often, people left in body bags simply because they didn’t move fast enough.

The crowd broke into a rush, scrambling for the exits.

Panic echoed in their footsteps, every face certain Alex had just stepped into hell.

Within minutes, the place was empty. Surveillance cameras clicked off one by one, leaving nothing but silence and danger in the room.

In a corner, Mike and his friends huddled together, trembling. None dared move. They knew this had gone beyond a joke.

Lord Moretti turned toward his father.

“Father, leave this to me. What I’m about to do will be brutal, and I don’t want you to see the blood. Take the others and go.”

Leo’s face was tight with rage.

“Uncle,” Frederick snapped.“How could you stand on this loser’s side? He dares demand two hundred million from us? Why don’t we just drag him out and torture him?”“Loser? Torture me?” Alex let out a low, weary laugh and rubbed his temple as if Frederick’s words gave him a headache. He raised a single finger, his eyes narrowing. “Three hundred million. If not, I’m walking out right now to heal my emotional hurt. Goodbye.”He turned toward the door without hesitation.“Who allowed you to come and go as you please!”Frederick lunged for him, but before he could touch Alex, Henry’s fist smashed into Frederick’s face with a heavy thud that echoed through the room.Frederick staggered back, crashing to the floor. His eyes widened in disbelief. “Uncle… why did you hit me?”“You useless fool!” Henry’s voice thundered. His face was dark with fury.“Every time you open your mouth, filth spills out. Get the hell out if you can’t control yourself!”“Henry, that was too much.” Benjamin’s voice w

Alex stood in silence, caught between two sides—on one end, the Kingstons, and on the other, Sophia and Lyra. All he wanted was peace, but they were pulling each other apart, and he didn’t know where to place his support.“Alex,” Lyra said urgently, “the Kingstons are attacking us—through the media, through the people, every way they can. They want Charles to become Governor of Paris.”“We’ve done nothing wrong, yet they’re striking at us nonstop. Can you help us? You’re our only hope.”Her voice cracked with desperation. “If we can’t stop them, we’ll die, Alex. I’ll give you my body if that’s what it takes. Just give us the Lexington family’s support.”“Fine,” Alex finally broke his silence. “I don’t have the miracle pill, but I can treat him myself.”Deep down, he knew the truth—this country needed stability above all else.He would not allow it to collapse into civil war, not now, not when the Kingstons and Sophia with Lyra were already standing on the razor’s edge of war.“Thank y

In the Prescott family’s estate in Lexington, the air was thick with dread. On the grand bed lay Samuel Prescott, the bald, aging patriarch. His once-commanding frame had withered, his skin pale as parchment, his breath shallow and labored.Around him, the Prescott bloodline gathered in tense silence, their faces shadowed with worry.“Benjamin!” Henry’s voice cracked as he paced the floor, his nerves unraveling. “Father was fine yesterday. How could he collapse so suddenly?”Benjamin’s jaw tightened. “Don’t start pointing fingers at me,” he snapped.“Father brought this on himself. Trying to break past level one hundred at his age—it was madness. No one’s ever done it, and now look where it’s gotten him.”Henry stopped in his tracks, fists clenched, his face twisted with helpless anger. “Why does he keep pushing himself like this?”A sudden cry split the air. “Grandfather’s coughing up blood!” Frederick Prescott, Benjamin’s broad-shouldered son, lurched forward, eyes wide with shock.

Alfred Kingston shook his head slowly, his voice edged with disdain.“Alex, I’ll admit you have courage. But the line between bravery and stupidity is razor-thin.”“And right now, you’re nothing but a fool who doesn’t even know his own limits. You’re nothing—worthless. You’re not even qualified to be our enemy.”Alex’s gaze was unflinching. “Mr. Kingston, a man is meant to be destroyed, not defeated.”Alfred’s lips curled into a bitter smile. He exhaled sharply, then barked, “Fine! Very well! You’re fearless, I’ll give you that. If you want to be destroyed, so be it.”“But for the sake of our past ties, I’ll give you one chance. Stop seeing Jasmine. Cut all ties with her, and I won’t hold this against you. But if you persist, you’ll face the consequences. We will crush you. Now get out.”He rose from his chair, his body language final—conversation over.Alex rose to his feet and walked toward the door. After a few steps, he stopped and turned. His voice was calm, deliberate.“Mr. Kin
