"Get us there now!" he shouted to the pilot, his voice sharp over the thrum of the rotor blades.

As the helicopter surged toward the building, Alex moved to the open doorway, preparing to reach her.

Alex stepped out of the hall, feeling numb, and collapsed onto the garden bench. He stared blankly ahead, lost in thoughts too dark and heavy to shake. He had no idea how much time had passed before Kelly stormed up beside him."Why did you do this, Alex?" Kelly snapped, his voice sharp as a blade.Alex frowned, puzzled. "Do what?""Don't play dumb with me," Kelly hissed, anger blazing in his eyes."I know you're a high-ranking Kingswell. Hell, everyone knows you're even above Albert Kingston himself. But that doesn't justify destroying the Guise family!""What the hell are you talking about?" Alex shot back, irritation growing in his voice."Alex, I know you’re close to the new king. Maybe you're his right-hand man, his private investigator—but you can't exploit the king for your own personal vendetta!""Personal vendetta?" Alex growled."Everyone at Kingswell knows what's going on," Kelly continued fiercely."Gilbert Guise hit Sophia, and now you're abusing your influence to crush h

“Fuck you, Alex!” Gilbert spat, blood dripping down his battered face.“You're just some washed-up military brat who's a bit stronger than average. Do you think I’m afraid of you?”“You should be,” Alex growled, stepping closer, eyes locked like steel traps.Gilbert sneered, arrogance masking his fear.“I have enough money to bury you alive. I'll pay anyone to slit your throat, and once you're gone, I'll finish Sophia and wipe out her whole family too.”Alex smiled coldly.“Money?” He raised an eyebrow. “Go ahead—try to move a single cent from your accounts. If you can, I'll walk right out of here.”Gilbert and Norman frantically scrambled to access his online banking, desperate for a lifeline. His fingers shook violently as he tapped the screen, praying for salvation. But the moment he saw every account frozen solid, his heart sank into an abyss.“Impossible,” Norman whispered, eyes wide with terror. “Everything’s blocked. All of our money... it’s frozen.”Gilbert’s expression shifte

Gilbert stood frozen in shock, unable to comprehend seeing Alex standing boldly in front of him.“You worthless piece of trash!” Gilbert spat venomously. “What the hell are you doing here?”A guard raised his iron baton, ready to strike Gilbert down, but Alex swiftly raised a hand, halting the entire room with a silent command.Alex smirked coldly. “Why shouldn't I be here?”Gilbert’s mind spun wildly, still unable to grasp the situation unfolding before him.He glanced around, noticing dozens of eyes glaring at him with murderous intent, but he brushed it off arrogantly. To him, they were nothing more than ants—pitiful, powerless ants. Why fear a swarm of insects? He had stolen their family members, taken their daughters, even their women, and killed whoever he pleased—and they still couldn’t lay a finger on him. They were nothing. Powerless. Useless. Why fear insects that couldn’t bite?He was a Guise, untouchable. Practically invulnerable.“You insignificant pest still don’t realiz
