I just live how cool Charlie is. The wife is just suffering from inferiority complex, from all the hatred from grandma and the parents are also treated so badly. I think she doesn't belong.

Probably will stop reading this book. Very woe is me, nobody likes me but my wife, started out seemingly a good guy but then feels nothing with everyone being beaten, a bit self-indulgent & I’m starting to not like the guy. I prefer a book with light & shade, not just violence
