New Year

While everyone around her was talking about New Year, Daphne never mentioned a single word related to New Year and was even deliberately avoiding the topic.

With the elders around, Daphne remembers to come up to her and whisper in her ear even when he's drunk, not realizing that it makes him seem more intimate, and Champt can see it through the rearview mirror.

New Year was cruel to her, meaning that she was the only one on her own at a time when everyone in the country was reunited with their families.

Zak unconsciously frowned, "What's wrong? Why don't you close your eyes and rest? Is it hard?"

Zak was stunned for a moment and seemed to understand the reason for Daphne's low mood.

"But how can you avoid such things? Even the teachers would name names and ask for answers on how the New Year was, so I had to lie and say that there was also a lot of good food at the New Year's Eve dinner, as well as new clothes to wear and red envelopes to get."
