CHAPTER 3. FIRST FIGHT

SYSTEM 3

Lugard stood outside the ring, staring at the two headed moster with four hands, growling uncontrollably. He tighted his fist fearfully as blood of the dead opponents, was drooling from the monsters mouth.

The whole crowd was cheering them up for a fight and he couldn't believe how sick they were, to pair him up with something with such height and monsterous looks.

As he maintained a safe distance, he turned around to look at the old wizard who was now smiling and nodding his head. He could swore that the hatred he had for him grew more stronger. Not only did he get him into a match to die, but was happy to see him die.

" Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, let me Introduce to you contestant number one, who we all know as the undeafeated champion. He has been known around the world as the best gladiator ever. Put your hands together for....

" BIGBLOW!" the MC said and the monster stepped into the ring and growled while the crowd hailed.

" And for the Challenger, who's probably a new fighter. Please give it up for, LUAGARD....... BROSFIELDDDD...." lugard swallowed hard when he heard his name, and stepped into the ring while the crowd booed him. He could see the looks on people's faces which signify that there was no hope for him in winning the match. His size and body gestures says it all.

" You wont even last for the first round! " an angry guy from the crowd said, throwing bottles at him.

" Now let the match begin" the MC said and rang the bell to start the match. Lugard was still shaking in his boots, when the giant monster decided to attacke first.

He swung his massive hands towards lugard but lugard quickly dodged the monster's blow. He quickly picked up the weapon beside him which was so difficult for him to carry.

" Oh shit, so heavy, " he excaimed and people laughed, seeing him struggle with the weapon. His heart melted when he saw the monster draw out four swords, having two on each hands. He growls intensely and began swinging its swords towards lugard, who was now running in the ring, dragging his weapon.

He was so terrible in sword skills and didn't know what to do. At this point, the crowd were already laughing and making jest of him as they screamed.

" Kill him ! kill him ! kill him !" but not yet. It seems the monster wasn't gonna kill him so soon. He wanted to have a little fun before the death. As lugard was running and crying in the ring while the crowd laughs, his eyes darted to the crowd and saw the wizard who was standing and staring comfortably. Beside him were the beautiful girls he saw earlier. He felt so ashamed when he saw the embarrassment on their faces.

" Are you sure this guy is the one, because from what am seeing, he isn't gonna make it out of the ring, alive." Alicia asked the old wizard who just nodded his head in reply...

As lugard tries to attack with his sword, the monster landed a kick on him and he fell back and hit his head. Suddenly, he felt a strange power come all over his body.

[[ DEFEAT BIG BLOW AND GET 5000 IN PUNCH SKILL AND STRENGTH ]] The awakened system sounded in his head.

" What ?" Lugard exclaimed when he heard the strange voice in his head again and much louder this time. He watched as bigblow was boasting of his strength and lugard stood up energetically with his sword to face him.

" What's up big man, you ready to rumble?" lugard said and quickly attacked. He couldn't imagine where the speed came from but he was feeling totally different. It was like he could lift a trailer of limestones and still wouldn't feel its weight.

Bigblow tried to cut him, but to no avail as lugard was too fast. He dodged every of the monster's attempt to spear him and in a twinkle of an eye, he appeared behind the monsters and cut him on the back .

" Ohhhhhhh!!!!!!" the whole crowd exclaimed in shock when they saw bigblow bleeding in the ring uncontrollably. No one has ever gave him a cut in a fight before. Gradually, lugard began gaining fans as his fighting skill had improved in a twinkle of an eye. Now being motivated by his sudden performance, he began sprinting around bigblow, cutting him with his sword, until the monster grew angry and the atmosphere of the ring changed. Everywhere became quiet as bigblow slowly lowered his sword to the ground and glaring at lugard; fuming aggressively.

" What's happening ?" people asked as he stood in the ring while lugard was staring at him in confusion " why did you drop your sword, big man. You give up?"

He asked the monster who began hitting his chest and growling aggressively. Seeing how fierce and dangerous it was acting, the MC had to drop his mic, and leave the podium to maintain a safer distance.

The looks on their faces shows that something bad was about to play down. Suddenly, the monster began growing bigger in size and length with sharp horns emerging from it's body. It now seems impossible for it to be defeated now.

" O...M...G.. " lugard exclaimed and quickly attacked the monster with his sword but it couldn't penetrate it's skin which had now become so hard and thick as a rock.

[[ OPPONENT TOO STRONG TO DEFEAT. AIM FOR THE HEAD ]] He heard the strange voice again.

" And how can I do that, he's too big, I can't reach its head" he asked when he saw how big the monster was.

" [[+ ACTIVATE JUMP SKILL]] The voice said and the invisible window appeared in front of him which displayed jumped skill and a green button to activate, which lugard clicked on and immediately, A strange force lifted him up from the ground, with the speed of light, and he landed heavily on the head of the monster.

Wowwwww?!!!, the crowd was amazed seeing this .

[[JUMP SUCCESS, NOW DRILL YOUR SWORD DIRECTLY INTO ITS HEAD ]]

" What ? That's too mean, I might kill him," lugard hesitated but changed his mind when the monster was trying to shake him off its head. He forcefully drilled his sword into both of BIGBLOW'S head and then jumped down and landed on his feet with the help of the force.

Suddenly, the monster started staggering and growling with blood gushing outta his head.

The whole crowd watched him struggling to catch a breath till he fell mightily on the ground and couldn't shake anymore and then, the silent crowd goes wild. People began cheering lugard up and he could hear them shouting,

" cut his head !cut his head !" but lugard wasn't that brutal. he saw no need of being mean when he had already won the match. quickly, the MC declared him winner as some group of guys came and dragged bigblow's unconcious body outta the ring

" Ladies and gents, I present to you your winner, lugard..... brosfield......"

He excitedly ran out of the ring to where the old wizard was at that moment.

" Damn old man. I almost died out there" He said

" I knew you could do it. The system was definitely gonna show up " the wizard replied and as lugard was about to reply, he heard the strange voice in his head again and saw the window appeared in front in his face

The system sounded in his head before a sweet feminine voice came forth.

" You were amazing out there," tasha said, blushing

" Yeah. you were really, I mean, I never believed you would make it out alive but you did it " Alicia interjected and lugard head was already swelling as he blushes uncontrollably.

He kept staring at the beautiful ladies and the rage in him seemed to have already melted down. He was so glad he didn't embarrassed himself in the match; and all thanks to the system or whatever it's called.

The wizard opened a fancy box and suprisingly brought out an eye catching sword, which he handed to him.

" Here you go. This is your reward for winning the match"

" Wow, this is so beautiful" lugard received it in appreciation.

" But dad ? Thought this is your favorite sword ?" Alicia asked and lugard stared in shock

" Dad ? What do you mean by dad ? Is she your daughter ? " He asked and the old wizard nodded his head. " They are both my daughters"

" Wow, you didn't say a thinh about it earlier when we saw them "

" Yes, because it wasn't important"

" Cool ! I'm beginning to love this place, so can I join the magic School here, now ? "

" No, you need to go back to earth realm. They need you now ? "

" What ? But why ? "

" There's a great tribulation that is about to happen any moment from now, which the people would beg for help and only you can help them out "

" No I can't go back to those people after being mocked by them. They have Lord Morgan already." He disagreed

" Go help them and become a god to them, choosen one !"

LORD MORGAN'S SECRET CHAMBER

Fabein and his friends got passed the palace guards and sneaked their way into the Lord Morgan's secret chamber. He was able to break through his dad's security code on the steel box and brought out the Magic ball.

" Yes, this is it" Bryan smiled as it glows in his hand. " Soon, I will be the leading king of the earth realm." he said

" Ermmmm, are you sure this is the right thing to do ? Releasing the monster king can be really dangerous for earth realm. " Robert reluctantly asked

" I know what am doing. Am not just gonna release it, but also tame it to serve me. This way, I would harness its power and become the strongest in the world." Fabien gave a confident reply.

" But how can you tame what even the great Lord Morgan couldn't tame ?" Dickson asked worriedly.

" And why do you think I'm no better than my dad ? I mean, the prophesy had it that the heavens would send a Messiah that would rule the earth realm during the second apocalypse and I feel I'm the one." Fabien retorted

" Bro, you are just a level 3 awakened one, your dad is level 7. This is so impossible " Dickson warned.

" Oh then, let's see about that."

Fabien brought out a magical book which he had stolen from his dad's secret archives earlier, and began enchanting a spell while his friends stared at him.

" Yu su fi su ca ba," He chanted. When he was done, he pressed the silver button on the Magic ball and suddenly, the room went dark and a thick giant wall in the room slowly rolled open, exposing a really horrible creature with mighty wings.

" Woww..... it's a dragon ? So dragons are real ? " Fabein said as he and his friends stared in surprise . He anxiously chanted another spell and the mighty chains breaks off the monsters body and as the monster let out a growl, the lights in the room was restored.

The monster gently stepped out of its cage carefully, counting its step's. They stared at it quietly to watch what would happen next. It was the biggest creature they had ever seen in their whole life and fabein was more anxious to see it fly and spit fire like they say dragons do.

It had flamming eye's and sharp wings that could cut through anything. Its still spirit made them wonder if it was actually brutal like history claimed it to be. It studied their faces one after the other in silence. it kept calm and was still studying them untill Robert got bored and couldn't take it anymore.

" Okay... Okay... Okay.... that's enough. It's time to tame this thing." He said and put his hand by his side to take out his sword but suddenly, the atmospheric condition changed as the dragon opens its mouth and spits fire that almost consumed him.

Fabien quickly used his magic skill to revive his friend (Robert) who instantly fell on the floor as his skin was scorching intensely. The dragon tried to attack Fabien also but he flipped the pages of the magic book till he got to page 40 and recited some spells that calmed it down.

" You see, I told you it would work...." Fabein smiled.

" Mehn, Robert skin is burnt on a third degree, he needs medical attention, ASAP! !"Dickson said to Fabien who just glanced at him, less concerned.

"Don't worry, we would take care of it later. What's more important now is me taming this monster king and harness its full powers. Besides, he scared the monster by trying to take out his sword."

" What's ? So you are trying to say he deserves it ? " Dickson asked holding Robert who was groaning on the floor in pain

" Nope, I didn't say that. You said it ! " Fabien walked closer to the monster while robert stared at him angrily. He couldn't believe all he cared for was his will to become great, neglecting his friends. He stretched his hand towards the dragon, reading from the book and it sat down on the floor, gently for him to climb on. Fabien excitedly got on it and begin to rub its head gently, with a smile on his face.

" You see, I told you I would be able to tame it. Hahahaha, I'm the Messiah of the world. Hahahahaha" he bragged. His mind filled with excitement to have finally tammed the moster king. He pressed the control button on the magic ball to finally join his spirit with its spirit so they could become one but suddenly, the flaming eyes of the dragon appeared and it became so violent. It spread it sharp wings; using it to cut anything it sees in the room, as it Swirls around uncontrollably.

" OMG, we gotta get out of here" Dickson said as he carried Robert on his back and turns to leave

." aren't you going ?" He asked Fabien who was still struggling to tame the dragon which seem uncontrollably.

" I can't ! I have to tame ......" Fabein was still saying something, when the monster king got more aggressive and forcefully shakes him of its back and he landed so hard on the floor. The building was collapsing and the monster was getting out of control as It kepts spitting fire out of its mouth that consumed the roof and then it flew out in speed.
