The Four Seasons

"You should wash first and doll yourself up". Cressida slowly let go of her stick and made a dance kind of move with the mistress' hand. She was surprised and scared at first but almost immediately cheered up and smiled. 

"So you can dance as well?".

"Did it look like a dance?" Apparently, Cressida was obviously making one of her fight moves which the mistress didn't understand, but because it didn't hurt her she felt it was a dance move.

"If my moves contained power, your arm would have fallen right off." Cressida said inwardly, she was quickly snapped out of her assumptions when the mistress dragged her cheeks.

"I am older than you, so you should speak in honorifics and I hope you will also treat my customers with respect too." The mistress kept to her cheeks and shaked her as though to lay emphasis.

" You just wait, I will kill you too." Cressida wasn't comfortable with this threat and as usual she kept her ill speeches in her mind. 

"A lot of powerful people come to our brothel. The four seasons of Pandora are also regulars of Clifton". The mistress seems to have calmed down now, she was gentle with her speech now.

" The four what?" Cressida asked again.

"There are four different types of beautiful people in the fortress of Pandora, and there are called four seasons." Intending to scout out the monks she’s been sent there to kill. These happen to be known as the Four Seasons of Pandora.

The morning beautiful flowers compliments the blazing Dawn sun as it lights the day and shows the dazzling daughter of The Martinez family who has the vitality of spring Katherina Martinez.

  The heir of the Theodore family, who has the 

energy of a hot summer Theodore Trevor.

The genius of the Reyes family, who is as Noble as the sunset in fall. Morgan Reyes. Then there's Stefan Donovan, the successor of the Daniel Donovan family who is as dazzling as the winter snow.

"Martinez, Theodore, Reyes and Donovan families. They're the well known mage families in Pandora, their children are known as the four seasons." The brothel mistress explains to Cressida.

"Is that what they're called in the fortress?" Cressida was sure of her mission now, she sounded furious already.

"Is that my Summer prince"? The mistress sighted Trevor from afar and joyfully left Cressida to welcome him.

"If he is the heir of the Theodore family, then he is Petrova's nephew"." Petrova Theodore He was there that night too, Theodore, Martinez, Reyes, Donovan. She said to herself. Petrova had fought her at the lake. Cressida had become highly emotional and angry at the same time. She recalls as a child hiding in the woods and witnessing her kin being killed without mercy. Cressida's hatred for these families increases as she's determined to get her revenge.

"The four seasons?Once I come across all four of you, it will be the end of it. May you greet your death as beautifully as your names are." She smiled mysteriously.

   The mistress took the prince inside an open hut of the brothel.

"Who are you here to see today?" She started a conversation.

"My uncle asked me to come and fetch someone."

"Fetch someone? Who?"

"A trainee from Velge, he humiliated his master and got sent away. I bet this is where he is hiding" As the prince walks into the brothel every passing maid takes bows.

" Will you look at that?" Trevor saw some maids taking some meat and fish into one of the open rooms and quickly called the mistress's attention to it. The mistress who was just lost in his jokes snapped out of her gaze.

"He must have craved seafood, because he stayed in the mountains for so long," he continued jokely. The mistress simply laughed it off.

" I guess he is in that room, I should go there".

Trevor took a clown walk into the room where seafoods were taken, leaving the mistress all by herself. 

Cressida's new mistress was nice to her. She had taken Cressida into the dressing room to wear her make-up after having her washed up when she found out that she could see. She wasn't blind like everyone thought she was. Cressida in order to escape threw one of the powder on her mistress's face and ran off. Liza, her mistress, raised an alarm and the brothel guards went after her.

  Cressida is spotted wandering through the royal palace and being able to see. Nevertheless, It’s Stefan who spots her while she’s trying to escape from her maid. Cressida ran into the palace and was caught peeping out.

"What are you looking at?" Cressida was startled by the voice behind her. The tall elegant and fair man in front of her threw her off balance, Cressida had never seen such a handsome man in her life. Their eyes met and what seemed like a chemistry was formed. She attempted to cover her eyes again when Stefan stopped her.

"You…?" It seems like Stefan was almost recognising her when she resisted his hand with fights and initiated her moves on him threatening him with a crab leg.

"Do not make a sound" she instructed, pointing the crab legs to his throat.

"I heard a blind girl recently joined the place, but you can see. They told me your name, I think it starts with 'D' or something." Stefan sounded so unbothered by her threat.

"No!" She said,

"Ooh I remember, Cressida."

"Yes, that is my name Cressida." She finally agreed. 

"I know what you look like, so if you do not stay quiet until I leave, I will come back and behead you." Cressida threatens him further.

Stefan chuckles, he doesn’t seem to take it seriously.

"What's funny" Cressida wasn't getting the joke as to why Stefan was unbothered.

"You have beautiful eyes." Stefan continued like she didn't have crab legs to his neck.

" Cut the nonsense."She was caught completely off-guard and never expected that.

"Right, sorry, only your eyes are beautiful." He wasn't ready for more arguments.

"You must be crazy." She shuffles beneath her breath. She ran off with a picky bag of coins and in an attempt to escape fell off the window and Stefan couldn't help but feel pity for her.

  Trevor walks into the room immediately after Cressida leaves.
