Mezzle didn’t seem like the only one who was shocked after he heard those words from the Commander.

“What did you say?” Elina asked, but the Commander didn’t feel that he was obliged in any way to give her a response.

He turned to the General and repeated, “The alien demands your presence, General.”

Mezzle was certain that he was not joking when he said those words. He decided to get down from the ship so that he could confirm if the commander was joking with him or not.

The alien who was the only one that survived was chained while he was kept on his knees, surrounded by more than twenty soldiers who were ready to shoot him if need be.

He had become very tired after he had tried to free himself from the chains without any success.

The soldiers wanted to kill him because of their fallen comrades, but that was only going to incur the wrath of the General.

When they saw Mezzle approaching, they cleared the way for him to march through, accompanied by the Commander and Kira.
