About forty minutes later, Benjamin finished washing the dishes as fast as he could and then quickly rushed out.âYesterday, Christopher yelled at me a lot, so I shouldnât give him any chance today,â Benjamin thought.Seeing him running out, Selena harrumphed in disgust. She had slapped him for a third time because he asked her if she wanted to be washed like the dishes. âHeâs not a mouse but rather a quiet cat thatâs keeping its claws hidden. Thatâs the feeling Iâm getting from him. And heâs shameless. Even after I slapped him, he didnât say a word. Heâs making it more difficult for me. If this keeps on, I feel like Iâm the one that degrade to get him out of this building.â She looked at this hand. âAfter all, I had to touch a toilet cleaner three times. Thatâs not good no matter how I look at it. Thereâs a beast hidden in me. I hope he wonât wake up that beast, or even I donât know what kind of things I will do to him.âMeanwhile, Benjamin quickly rushed out of the villa and was loo
The next morning.Selena had Shiron prepare a hot frying pan, and then she made Oliver touch that pan a dozen times. In doing so, his skin and flesh got burnt. He cried like a bitch. He had told Selena that the dogs ate the drugs but for some reason, they didnât attack Benjamin.Obviously, Selena didnât believe his story and wanted him to give her the money back. He asked her for a monthâs time, to which she agreed, but she didnât let him get away with just that. She made sure to teach him a lesson so that he wouldnât ever take her words for granted again. At the breakfast table, Selena saw that Benjamin was standing behind Rebecca. âYou look fine. Did you eat something while I wasnât watching?ââI just washed my face, Mother-in-law,â Benjamin explained himself. âThatâs why I probably look okay, but Iâm actually hungry.ââHmph, if you were really hungry, you should have secretly eaten some dog food,â Elizabeth said. âNo one would have cared.ââPfft,â Dorothy burst into laughter. Lisa
Rebecca and Benjamin reached the villa.Benjamin noticed only now that the broken car window was replaced with a new one. Rebecca was very good when it came to maintenance, so the car looked like a new one even though it was more than a four year old car.Rebecca was the first to enter the villa.Benjamin saw Selena coming down the stairs. (This woman⊠is she not busy with anything else? How does she exactly come at the right time?)âHow much did you earn today?â Selena asked him aloud while Rebecca was still around so that she could also hear and see everything.âU-Um, today was a bad day,â Benjamin said. âI didnât earn much.â He took out the money from his pocket and put it in her hand.âMm?â Selena saw the single note and frowned. âOne dollar?â she briefly glanced at her daughter. âAre you seeing this Rebecca? He earned one freaking dollar after working for eight hours. This has gotta be the biggest achievement I have witnessed in a long while.â She crumpled the dollar bill and acc
Rebecca sat down and leaned her head onto her hand as she kept staring at the pizza boxes. She looked angry.âIâve always refused to eat food that others give me. They think of me as being arrogant and what not. If I offer them pizzas now, what will they think of me?â she kept shaking her head. These boxes were too big to be thrown in the dustbin, and she didnât want to carry them out of her room, either. She pressed a button attached to the table. And the alarm outside her cabin rang and glowed. The peon heard that and came to her room.âThrow these boxes in the dustbin,â she told him without even looking at him.âMaâam, they're worth over 200 dollars,â he said. âAre you sure you want to throw them away?âRebecca frowned. A part of her conscience was hurting her mind. Benjamin left these here, so is it right to just throw them away? âYou know what? Just distribute slices of those to the staff, but donât tell anyone that they are from me.ââOkay, maâam,â the peon quickly distributed t
Rebecca was working, and Cavin entered the hall and announced. âI just got a promotion, so Iâve ordered a big cake. Iâm sending pieces to every cabin, so feel free to enjoy them.âA piece of cake was sent to her cabin as well. The cake looked very good on the eye. Its many layers and its fragrance pulled Rebeccaâs eyes and nose. She just broke a tiny piece and tasted it. âMm, not bad.âA few minutes passed.A peon came to check every cabin to collect the paper bowls in which the cakes were delivered. Every cabin had dustbins, but the peon still asked everyone.Eventually, he came to Rebeccaâs cabin. âMaâam, you still havenât eaten the cake?ââYou can take it.ââMe? No, no. How can I eat your cake?â he shook his head.âItâs better than throwing it in the dustbin,â she replied.âThen Iâll take it,â he took the cake and went away.Moments later, Cavin came to the peon and asked, âDid she eat it?âThe peon shook his head. âI think she only ate a little piece at the edge.âCavin gritted hi
âNo offense, but how can you clear our debt?â the dad asked quickly. His voice contained some hope even though he believed that Benjamin might not be telling the truth. âItâs not a small amount. With interest, itâs nearly 932,000 dollars.ââI can take care of it, but what about what I asked in return?â Benjamin queried. The dad looked at his family and then looked back at Benjamin and said, âWe will no try to commit suicide again.ââNo matter what happens?ââYes.ââEven if you suffer losses in your business again?âThe dad still nodded in agreement. âI promise.ââDonât promise. Just say yes or no.ââYes.ââMm,â Benjamin told them to write their details on a piece of paper. He then went out of the house and changed the sim card in his mobile. Though he had left the other belongings at the shop, he kept the sim card with himself. He made a call to a particular number.âThis is Southern Society. Who is speaking?â a female voice came from the other side.âThe wolf that flies in heaven,â B
Rebecca was at work in her office cabin. One of her colleagues approached her and asked her out, âWill you go out with me?ââSorry, I cannot.âHe frowned. âYou cannot? Or you will not?ââBoth,â she indifferently replied and walked away.He was very offended by it because he was more experienced in the field than her. And he was a handsome man who dated many models all the time. âThis bitch is so arrogant just because she earns more salary than me! But every bitch has their G-chord. I just need to find it, and sheâll be mine.âA few minutes later.Rebecca came to the cafeteria. Even though she did not like the lunch here, she had no other choice but to eat the ones she could. As she was busy eating alone, a couple of her female colleagues approached her. âHey, Rebecca, is it true that you rejected Cavin? Everyoneâs talking about it.ââI did reject him, and itâs not worth talking about,â she replied.âHow can you say that? Every woman wants to sit in his car and go for a drive with him,
After breakfast, Benjamin was waiting at Rebeccaâs car. She wasnât there yet, and he was waiting for her.âShe didnât stop me or stop her family members,â he thought. âI think sheâs just not taking any side at the moment. I didnât understand it yesterday, but now I know better. While sheâs not stopping her family, sheâs not stopping me from retaliating, either. But I should keep my mouth in check. Too much talking back will make them hate me, and then it will get much more difficult to turn their faces toward me.âRebecca was coming toward him while checking her mobile. âLook at your surroundings while youâre walking, Love,â he told her. âDonât be distracted by that thing in your hand. Technology isnât necessarily good all the time. It can be used to distract and dumb people down without them knowing. Lisa and Roshan, for example, spend more time watching mobile phones every day than they spend talking with others in the house.âRebecca put the mobile in her bag. âHappy now?ââYeah, b
Benjamin finished his house work and was waiting for Rebecca at the dining table. He kept a seat next to him. However, Selena sat next to him and waved her hand before her face. âYou smell like kitchen soap. Did you wash your hands properly?ââI washed dishes last night, Mother-in-law. I washed my hands and then I bathed this morning. I washed my hands again after working, so thereâs no way you can smell kitchen soap on me.ââAre you saying that Iâm lying?ââWell, you must be imagining things. Thatâs all Iâm saying,â Benjamin replied. âIf you donât like the smell, why donât you take another seat?ââHow dare you tell my mother-in-law to change seats?â Elizabeth raised her voice. âKnow your place, Benj-eff-min.ââItâs Benjamin,â he replied. âIâm sure itâs not hard to pronounce. Or do you want me to pronounce your name differently, too?âElizabeth gritted her teeth. âYou⊠Iâm a senior in this house. I can call you what I want, but you canât do the same.ââIs that so? This is a very good book. The updates are not consistent. Maybe the author should concentrate on one or two stories at a time instead of updating the six unfinished books. As an active reader, this is frustrating, and it almost makes you want to stop reading.
