Jarka tried as much as he could to get a grip on himself, but his courage had failed him several times before Mezzle could get to him. As it appeared, the soldiers who bundled him into the cell had already taken turns to beat him up, and he wasn’t sure if he was going to survive another day in the Human world. Mezzle pushed forward with the dagger still tightly gripped in his hands, staring with red eyes. “I am sure that you know that your people are dead, Jarka.” He confirmed the suspicion that Jarka had, causing him to swallow hard while he stared at him.
