“There’s nothing. If you’re tired, just sleep. I’ll wake you up when we arrive,” Jackson said calmly, though his eyes kept scanning the surroundings, observing anything that might look suspicious.

“No, Jenny’s not sleepy,” Jennyfer replied, leaning her head back. She’d been tense ever since noticing Jackson’s strange behavior, but after hearing his words, she felt somewhat relieved and began to relax more comfortably in her seat.

The clock showed almost six o’clock. Jackson’s car was now stuck in heavy traffic, surrounded by a flood of people enjoying the early evening. It was Saturday night—the time most young people or social types looked forward to for hanging out with their friends.

Jackson had deliberately stayed out longer than usual because his trusted team was currently handling something at his Golden Residence. He’d forgotten that it was Saturday night, and now his car was caught in a long, almost unmoving traffic jam.
