"Move to the south gate quickly,"

the Patriarch instructed as the clan members closed in on the central gate.

The Gordons Clan members made a slight turn and hurried over, even Alec was surprised to see his grandfather waiting there for them.

Up until now, Alec hadn't realized that he wasn't the one leading the charge when they left the family compound.

But now, as he calmed down and thought about it, he realized that the old man must have been in a meeting with the City Lord and other powerful family leaders in the city,

And It seems they must have agreed upon having the Gordon family protecting the weaker South gate.

The Gordon family members arrived at the gate swiftly, climbing up and spreading around the walls to cover any gaps, ensuring that the zombies wouldn't exploit any openings.

They allowed the younger generation of the Gordon family to stay behind, watching their backs as they fought off the zombies.

The patriarch levitated in the air, observing, as some of the higher-ranking family members gave orders, He wasn't ready to interfere just yet.

As Alec looked ahead, he noticed a cloud of dust obscuring his vision, After a few minutes, the dust cleared, revealing a massive horde of zombies running toward the city gates .

A wave of fear washed over Alec as he had never seen so many zombies gathered in one place before, This was his first encounter with a zombie attack on a city.

Until now, their family had always been protected, shielded from such threats, But now, as they stepped onto the path of the mage, the responsibility of protecting the clan fell on their shoulders too.

When Alec glanced around, he saw that most of the younger generation children were trembling in fear, It was also their first time witnessing the horrifying faces of the zombies.

No matter how much they had been taught, it was still not enough to prepare them for the sight of these slow yet dreadfully menacing creatures, tainted by another dimension.

Alec steeled his resolve, reminding himself that as the leader of the younger generation, he couldn't afford to cower in fear when they were at war.

He pondered on how to motivate the younger generation and boost their decreasing morale.

Then, he recalled that acting like a showman and showcasing his strength would do the trick, After all, strength was highly respected in this world.

Tapping on his space pouch, he summoned his eight golems, with Titan standing proudly in the front.

"There's no need to despair, All we have to do is keep crushing their heads, just as we've been taught in our lessons," Alec declared.

"We are warriors of the Gordons clan!, These puny zombies won't be able to stop our charge!, ATTACK!"

he shouted at the top of his lungs, igniting a surge of enthusiasm among the members of the Gordons clan as he realised that the zombies were already close to reaching there line of defence, Even the older generation was impressed by his passionate speech.

"For the clan!" Alec exclaimed.

"For the clan!" echoed the rest of the clan members around him.

It didn't take long for the zombies to reach the walls, climbing through the cracks, However, the Gordons family wasn't just there to watch them climb without taking any action.

Those skilled in archery started raining down arrows on the zombies, not concerning themselves too much with precise aim.

There were too many zombies to completely intimidate them, as they knew no fear, pain, or fatigue.

"Here they come! Archers, fall back and assist the warriors!"

the patriarch commanded, acting as the commander from where he stood.

The archers quickly moved back, allowing those armed with weapons and trained in battle mage parth to step forward.

One of the clan members shouted as he activated a magic spell with his Tier 1 mana, causing particles of earth elements to form gloves on his hands.

With a powerful punch, he obliterated the head of an unlucky zombie attempting to climb up.

Similar scenes unfolded all along the walls, Even those wielding weapons had Tier 1 Magic Rock Armor protecting their bodies, allowing them to attack without hesitation while shielding themselves from any zombie strikes.

Things were going well for them, until a tier one zombie managed to burst out and leap over the other unclassified zombies that were being slaughtered.

Using its fallen comrades as a makeshift ladder, it jumped high enough to evade the warriors and headed straight for the archers at the back, who were assisting the younger generations of the Gordons family.

The Tier 1 zombie, known as a Speed Demon, had blue skin and sharp fangs, with long claws, It's red eyes glowed, and drool fell from its mouth.

It possessed a special trait of incredible speed, catching the warriors off guard with its timely jump.

"Shit, that's a Tier one Zombie Speed Demon!, How the hell did they let it slip through?, It's a known assassin of the zombie race," one of the archers exclaimed.

As soon as Alec heard this, he sent a command to Titan to intercept the zombie and protect the archers.

He realized that none of the archers were as strong as the battle path mages, leaving the seven level zero golems around him as additional defense.

If any zombie attacked him, at least he would have a meat shield to support him until reinforcements arrived or until he could eliminate the zombie himself.

As the claws of the Tier 1 speed demon aimed to strike the nearest archer, it was met with the presence of a sturdy stone shield.

The shield, provided by Titan, clashed with the speed demon's claws, sending tremors back to the zombie's hands.

The shield was thick, as Alec had been tempering the rare golem with earth elements while practicing his golems experiment.

The zombie took two steps back, acknowledging it's defeat in the strength battle against Titan.

However, that was its fatal mistake, What happened next not only surprised the zombie, but everyone on the south wall.

A spiky mace descended on the head of the speed demon zombie, crushing its brain and splattering its juices everywhere.

[Ding!]

Even Alec was surprised by the quick battle reaction of his rare golem, He had created other level 0 golems and had them fight, but their performance had never been up to par.

He couldn't help but feel that Titan possessed a higher level of intelligence, being a rare golem, He now realized how wrong he had been.

Not only were the clan members shocked, but they became even more astonished as they witnessed Titan throw it's spiky mace immediately after killing the first speed demon , deeply embedding it in the neck of another Speed Demon.

This particular Speed Demon had been on the verge of clawing at the neck of a member of the Gordons Clan who had looked shocked.

Now, the family could rest assured that this golem could be compared to the battle prowess of the clan's veteran Tier 1 mages.

With just two simple strikes, it had successfully eliminated significant threats that could have resulted in the loss of lives.

“So when exactly do we get the chance to beat up those snobby mages from the capital—ahem—manners, I mean, when exactly do we get to contest against the Royal Mage Academy team?” Pale asked with a grin, while cracking his knuckles as a sharp pop echoed from his joints.“If everything goes as planned, we’ll be fighting them in the next nine days,” the Dean replied. “A message bird arrived from the Central Kingdom, informing us that a group of envoys will be arriving in the Northern Kingdom to make preparations for the tournament, but before that, they’re especially focused on addressing why we were excluded from the eight great academies chosen to participate.”Some of the mages sucked their teeth in frustration—it felt too far away, the clash they had been waiting for, just then, the Dean whispered something to General Edward before flying off.“The Dean had something urgent to handle, so I’ll be closing this meeting on his behalf,” Edward said. “As much as I appreciate your confi

First of all, I want to take this opportunity to apologize for my inability to update any chapters over the past few days. I've really been going through a lot—family issues and other personal matters. Honestly, I still don’t know how I’ll make it up to everyone who’s stuck with me and read every chapter, but I promise I’ll find a way to make up for the missed updates.—Before Alec, Arthur, and Brandon reached the center of the Arena Square, they were joined by the rest of the Gordon Clan members who had also been in the team that was created by Selene, the moment it happened, Alec felt a wave of nostalgia, as he felt like this call was more of an old team gathering, and he wasn’t wrong. Because when they arrived at the Arena square, the others were already in position, Pale and Katie stood off to one side, Lucas sat alone with his arms crossed on another side, and Beatrice lingered quietly in another corner, her eyes fixed on the two figures standing atop the small raised stage in

But now with one of the so-called smart ones giving them a justifiable excuse to attack, the crowd jumped at it without hesitation, after all, none of them had the courage to face Arthur or Brandon alone, the only way they dared make a move was as a group, as none wanted to be a lesson for the others. As a portion of the mob surged toward Arthur and Brandon, two hung back including the one who incited the charge, subtly distancing themselves from the fray, and those were the ones Arthur and Brandon really wanted in the first place—the ones pushing this so-called challenge from behind the scenes, including the mage Arthur had already knocked out, that made four key instigators. Now that they had their targets, the first step was clearing out the expendable mob in front of them.“Come,” Arthur said with a grin, dashing into the incoming wave of mages, and what happened next was far from what anyone watching from afar would have expected. One hit—that was all it took, every strike from

Below Terran’s peak, a group of Tier 6 mages waited, these were the ones who still believed they had a chance at victory.Although they had watched the battles Pale and Katie had been in and realized that such powerful individuals were not to be taken lightly, however they hadn’t seen Alec fight yet and were unaware of his true strength. They assumed Alec was clearly weaker than them, and the fact that he hadn’t even shown the courage to face them yet only inflated their confidence, they even started to spread rumours about how they would easily break him into pieces. They were convinced that Alec wasn’t as strong as Lucas, Pale, or even Beatrice, from what they’d heard, back when Alec was the leader of the team it seemed the group hadn’t made such progress they were showing now, which meant that the current strength of the group had to be a result of their own progress after they returned home. And being ignorant of Alec and his Gordons clansmen true abilities, they believed the oth

“Old man, spare me some face! How could you still do this to me in the presence of my disciples?” Terran protested, wearing an expression of wounded pride, but Alderic simply ignored him, levitating toward Alec with a smile.“I’ve come to see you again. I need your help with a little problem,” Alderic said, causing Alec to flinch, raising his elbow in surprise at how suddenly the man had appeared.Alec was already a Tier 6 mage, with an agility stat over three hundred, which means he was fast enough to match the speed of many Tier 7 mages, and the Agility stats didn’t just boost his speed; but it also enhanced his reaction time and attack speed too, and that’s was why he could fight against the Tier 7 goblin on equal footing and even look like he surpassed him in speed. Yet, despite all that, he couldn’t even sense how the old man had closed the distance between them.“So, what can I do for you? If it’s about another transaction, I’m afraid my hands are tied right now,” Alec said,

Everyone will compete for their chance to enter the top hundred,” the man said in a calm but commanding tone.“Sir Envoy, you need not worry, your message will be delivered promptly, we all understand how the competition is structured,” King Alexander replied. “We’ve been waiting for this day for a long time, no one would forget something as crucial as the rules.”The cloaked man gave a slight nod. “Then I shall return, in ten days, a group of mages will arrive to assist the Northern Kingdom with the necessary preparations.”“There’s something I wanted to ask, Sir Envoy,” Alexander added. “Is it possible to shift the hosting rights to my kingdom?
