Chapter 21

"Help us! Anybody, please come here! Someone out of their mind is vandalizing our car." Charlotte continued to scream for help as Aldrich smashed rocks against Jake's windshield, making the sound of shattering glass loud and frightening Charlotte.

Jake tried to hit Aldrich, but Aldrich dodged and was much more potent than expected. Quickly, Aldrich counterattacked Jake. Aldrich twisted Jake's arm, pulled it, and slammed Jake's body to the ground.

Jake winced in pain as his back hit the floor with the rocks on it. "Damn it! Damn, my back hurts like hell."

Not letting Jake continue to babble, Aldrich returned the attack to the man by stomping on Jake's foot, causing the man to cry out in pain. Jake tried to get up and move his legs to make Aldrich fall, but unfortunately, he was already in so much pain that he could not sit up.

"Hey, let go of him, damn it!" Charlotte tried to help Jake by beating on Aldrich's arm, but Aldrich didn't budge.
