THE CUNNING HUMAN

In thirty minutes, Ethan was done with Mr Frost for the day.

He had been able to get some of the fluid out of his body, injected him with some drugs and covered the small incision he had made with a plaster.

Mr Frost sat down in the chair a few minutes after Ethan was done to make the effect of the anaesthesia wear off completely.

When it wore off, he tried standing up, but he could feel pain in his leg.

He squeezed his face painfully.

“The incision will cause some pain, but you will be fine. It will feel like a normal sore. But it is important to help you get well.

You are good to go for the day, you can continue with your pharmaceutical drugs. I will come back tomorrow morning to continue the work. We will go through this for about a week.” Ethan said.

He stretched out his hand to help the man up.

Mr Frost held Ethan's hand and used it as a support to help him get up from the chair.

Mr Frost stood up, tried to take a few steps, and nodded.

    THE COURT IS PLEASEDThe place went quiet again as they all waited for Judge Grant to speak.He finally looked up and addressed the audience.“Alright, thank you, Mr David. Now it is time for the defendants to cross-examine the witness.     ANOTHER PIECE OF EVIDENCE“Thank you, Mr Ethan. However, you didn't answer the parts on the state you found Keziah in before you started your treatment with her.” Mr David asked him, trying to pinpoint where he had skipped in his narration. Everybody waited for him to speak and to give their order on what next they were supposed to do.
