One months later

“You are the first in history to learn directly from the top five titans in the world. Coupled with the systems, you have become unstoppable!” one of the ancient masters said aloud.

They were all standing at the top of a cliff. Beneath that cliff lay the house where Elias had been tutored for the past thirty days. He looked different. Everything about him felt different too.

These Titans are the best in their craft and they can be deemed the most powerful. Now, everything they know has been transferred to Elias.

“Thank you, masters. I will definitely make you proud!” His eyes beamed with confidence.

The three older men suddenly fell to their knees. “All hail the master. We can now die peacefully after fulfilling our assignment!”

Elias watched in horror as each man took out a dagger and stabbed himself repeatedly.

“Oh God! Stop! Don’t do th—”

Before he could process what was happening, they were all dead.

When he came to this mountain on the first day, one of the masters had clearly said, “Everything we have mastered all these years… if we are able to transfer it to you, and you master the Monarch Crown System, that day we will all die.”

He had thought the man was joking. But looking at them now, he knew it had been true. It was their belief. That was one of the reasons he wasn’t angry.

“And one last warning, my boy,” another master had told him. “Do not reveal your identity as the Monarch Crown bearer. Your adversaries are countless, always searching for loopholes and ways to steal the Sigil from you through your death.”

Elias wasn’t sure if he liked the idea of becoming the most powerful man on earth while still being hunted. But he realized one thing—he refused to live as the lowlife the Halstons had trampled on.

He walked over to the three men one by one and gently closed their eyes.

“I will make sure to curb injustice and uphold your teachings, masters.” He saluted them and walked away.

Elias descended the mountain with nothing but a small sack and the lingering echo of his masters last breaths.

He was ready to start a new life.

The Halston mansion stood tall and polished.

He stepped through the gates, his footsteps slow and emotionless. Everything here was predictable—the trimmed lawns, the cold marble steps, and the cruelty.

He knocked once.

The door swung open almost immediately.

Henry Halston stood there, potbelly straining against his shirt, pride radiating like a bad odor. The moment he saw Elias, his face twisted with disgust.

“Oh look who finally crawled back,” Henry said with a mocking laugh. “The prodigal beggar. What happened? Your little dreams did not feed you?”

Susan appeared behind him, her perfect curls bouncing as she snorted. “Honestly Henry, I am shocked. I thought he would have learned shame by now.” She crossed her arms. “What do you want Elias? Money? Leftover food? A job as a gatekeeper? Because you’ve been cancelled as a member of this family.” She sneered.

Elias did not flinch. “I came for my things. My documents.”

Henry scoffed. “Documents? You still have an identity? I thought you burned through that long ago.”

Susan smirked. “Henry please give him something small. So he can leave quickly. He stinks of desperation.”

“I do not want money,” Elias said quietly. “Just give me my birth certificate and ID card.”

Susan rolled her eyes dramatically. “Henry did you hear that? He thinks he has the right to ask for something.”

“Boy,” Henry stepped closer, jabbing his thick finger at Elias chest. “Your only right is to breathe because I allow it. Do not forget our family were the only ones that treated you like human when your whore mother left you.”

“Is it because we helped you!” Susan added sharply.

Elias looked at them, really looked, and for the first time he felt nothing. No anger. No shame. No fear. Their insults bounced off him like raindrops hitting steel.

“Are you done?” he asked.

Henry’s nostrils flared. “You think you can talk to me like that? In my house?”

“If you have common sense, you’d just hand over what I want or you’d be dealt with.” Elias replied calmly.

Henry burst into laughter, clapping loudly. “Susan! Did you hear him? He is giving orders! A failure giving orders!”

Susan laughed too. “Oh Elias. You truly do not learn.”

He waited silently.

Then a familiar voice floated down the stairs.

“Mom? Dad? What is happening? Who is shouting”

Celeste froze halfway down the staircase. Her breath hitched. Elias had not seen her in almost a month, her hair was shorter, her eyes more tired. She stared at him as if she was seeing a ghost.

“What is he doing here?” she asked, not hiding her irritation.

Henry folded his arms. “Your ex husband came back for more pity.”

Susan added with a laugh, “Maybe he wants you back Celeste.”

Celeste shot Elias a sharp glare. “I do not have time for this. Why are you here?”

“For my documents,” he answered simply.

Celeste scoffed. “Of course. You never change.”

Her voice held no warmth, no hesitation, only annoyance. “You left this house and somehow still managed to crawl back. Pathetic.”

Elias did not respond.

Henry stepped forward aggressively, but Celeste held up a hand, not for Elias, but out of frustration. “Dad do not waste your breath. He likes attention. Give him whatever he wants so he can leave.”

Susan nodded. “That is the smartest thing you ever said.”

Celeste crossed her arms tightly, her gaze icy. “Do not look at me like that Elias. I owe you nothing.”

“And I do not need anything from you.” Elias replied coldly.

Celeste was stunned and pissed that Elias seemingly doesn’t care about her. She sensed the change.

Before she could speak further, Celeste’s phone rang.

She sighed loudly and answered. “Hello? Tonia? What now?”

Her face hardened as she listened.

“What are you talking about? Elias is right here in front of me. He is not at any hospital.”

Another pause.

Then a sudden scream burst through the phone.

Celeste’s eyes widened but her expression remained more irritated than frightened. “Tonia? Tonia! Stop shouting.”

The line cut.

Henry rolled his eyes. “These your friends have too much drama.”

Celeste lowered her phone slowly, her jaw tightening. “She said she saw Elias at the hospital with sacred emblem bearers. She said he was chosen by the Crown.”

Silence spread as their gaze returned back to Elias, this time, their their breath caught.

He felt a surge of shock and fear for the first time.Elias hadn’t realized Matt was close enough to hear him. The words had slipped out before he could stop them. He had already turned to move on when a familiar voice came from behind him. “So they’ve finally sent someone?” The voice said. Elias stopped and turned slowly. Matt was a few steps away, having just stepped out from the shadows near the car. There was no surprise in his eyes, only confirmation. “What do you mean?” Elias asked calmly. Matt studied him for a moment. “I heard what you said,” he replied. “Something about a messenger… and the Crown.” Elias looked ahead again, his jaw tightening slightly. “I have a feeling,” he said after a brief pause, “that someone is after me. Not just watching. After my life.” Matt exhaled quietly, as though that truth had been long expected. “That doesn’t surprise

The moment the seal was revealed, panic shifted into denial. “That thing is fake,” Susan said sharply, as if the word itself could undo what they were seeing. “Anyone can make something that looks like an emblem.” “Yes,” Celeste added quickly. “It’s staged. All of this is staged.” Damien forced a laugh that didn’t reach his eyes. “You really think we’d believe that?” Their voices overlapped, growing louder and desperate. But Elias didn’t even say a word. He just stayed composed as though they didn't matter. He simply turned to the manager. “Give me the account,” he said calmly. “I’ll transfer the five billion now and seal the deal.” The words landed cleanly. The manager’s posture changed instantly. He didn’t look at the Halstons again. “Of course, sir,” he replied in a respectful tone. “But let me make one thing clear.” the manager turned, addressing the Halstons and Damien. “No one would dare forge that seal,” the manager said evenly. “Anyone who does would be in dire troubl

A woman in a tailored suit rose from behind the reception desk, her expression professional. “Welcome to Evercrest Estates. How may I help you today?” Elias responded calmly, “Which villas do you have available?” Damien let out a short laugh before butting in. “He wants something cheap.” The woman paused, surprised but composed. Celeste stepped closer, lowering her voice just enough to sound concerned rather than insulting. “Please be careful,” she said to the receptionist. “The person claiming to buy may not actually have the funds.” The woman’s gaze flicked briefly to Elias. He said nothing. The Halstons took his silence as confirmation

Damien stood where he was, staring at Elias as though the world had tilted slightly off its axis. Five billion. Shareholder. Victor Reed’s respect. None of it aligned with the man he thought he knew. “This… this is not possible,” he muttered, his voice strained. He took a step forward, his eyes fixed on Victor. “Sir, you must be mistaken. There has to be some kind of error.” Victor did not raise his voice and he did not look offended, but the temperature around him dropped. “Enough,” he said flatly. “Don’t test my patience by pretending you did not hear me the first time.” Damien swallowed hard. “I just want to be sure. This man—” Victor turned to him fully now, his gaze sharp and cold. “You and your family have already crossed a line today. I suggest you stop trying to create trouble where there is none. Any further disrespect toward him will not end well for you. Is that clear?”The words landed with finality. Damien’s shoulders sagged and the last trace of arrogance drained fr
