Over a hundred horned reptilians surrounded the mother council zone, and they were all working under the order of Veyra the Hollow Priestess.

She was a pale, ageless woman dressed in veils that flowed like smoke. Her lack of pupils was also considered to be the reason why she showed no mercy.

Veyra held an inverted censer out of which human-faced shape smoke kept releasing.

She was as eerie-looking as one could be.

“Go, my little lizards!” The smoke from the censer enraged the horned reptilians and led them to attack the council buildings all the more aggressively. “Devour those women as much as you want!”

The guards were all fighting the reptilians, but the sheer number and power of these lizards was no joke.

The guards were also being affected by Veyra’s smoke. It corrupted their senses and made them hallucinate.

This made things easy for the reptilians.

As the guards kept losing one after another, the council members who were all hiding in the central tower were panicking.
