Paulina looked at her; she handled everything professionally. She woke up in Alex's room and saw that he was sleeping. She walked back and instructed Fiona to make some tea and have it ready before Alex woke up. Brian walked into the house and handed the laptop to Paulina, who immediately started to work. Later in the evening, Henrietta came to check up on Alex when he didn't return her call. She met Paulina in the mansion and looked at her. "Why are you here?" Henrietta looked at her with a furrowed eyebrow.

Paulina wanted to tell her Alex was sick, but seeing her manner of approach, she said nothing. "Alex traveled and asked me to work from his home. Is anything the matter?" She replied coldly.

Henrietta brought out her phone and dialed Alex's number, but she was not getting any response. She walked out of the house, angrily shutting the door behind her.
