Chapter 6(Kentucky Proposal)

"oh shit! it's going down" A bald guy exclaimed as he was still very keen on his phone. 

This alerted other individuals who were busy having a good time.

The security men who were thrice the size of a normal man appeared and he was cautioned.

In a few minutes every individual in the hotel was busy with their phone. It was like all were connected to each other.

With a close look one could even see the security guards with their phones too. All were busy watching God knows what .

"what could they be watching?" Nathan asked one of his colleagues as he interestingly watched the rapt attention they were investing on their phones.

"How can I know, but it seems contagious" Nathan's colleague spoke in an ominous way.

"It is like a particular source is controlling all of them" Nathan chipped.

After some minutes he found out that almost all his colleagues were now busy with their phones and it looked very weird. 

He then approached Max, one of his fellow workers who was busy with his phone. One thing was similar with all of them: they were unconsciously smiling.

"Max, what are you watching?" he quipped while trying to peep into his phone.

"Bro open your phone, if you do that you will see a link notification" he answered, still fixing his gaze on his phone.

Out of curiosity Nathan opened his phone and the link could be clearly seen. As he was about to press it he started hearing some noise 

 yes!yes!yes!yes! the customers who were meant to be having a good time started shouting in unison.

He clicked the link and what he saw made him cringe and stutter. It was like digging a very huge hole into his heart.

As they continued with their "yes" Nathan was shouting "No" inside him although within him he knew it was just a whirl wish .

It was the proposal event of Ethan to Mabel in Kentucky garden. They will probably be the most beautiful and powerful couples. It was being viewed live for it is a very promising event.

The comments were nothing helping at all for Nathan since he is about to lose the most important person of his miserable life. It pained him more knowing that it was Ethan.

"Yeah!!!, !!!, beautiful!!!" These were the words coming out from the customers' words in appreciation of the beautiful event they just witnessed.

Mabel had already said yes and it didn't end there, she kissed Ethan so passionately. 

Nathan never recalled having such moments with her since they started dating. In his every attempt to kiss her he was given one excuse or the other by Mabel but behold she was even the one that initiated the kiss.

"Did she actually liked him or was he a pawn to her" Nathan thought as he sat on one of the customers seat dejected 

He was tired and weak but in the midst of this, strength came from nowhere and he immediately dropped his apron and headed for a cab.

"Where sir?" the cab man asked

"Kentucky garden" he replied as he hopped into the car

Kentucky garden is a place that only permits the most powerful and influential individuals. It is a highly guarded place. You are either there by invitation or you have a membership card.

Kentucky garden is owned by Owen Lim, a once partner of Sir Neto hence they were close friends and associates.

"Sir my money" the cab driver voiced as Nathan was about to leave without paying him.

He dipped his hand in his workplace pants and paid. Though he was very angry and furious he was able to still have the sanity of counting the money before paying the cab driver off.

It was a fifteen minutes drive to the garden and then he immediately marched like a fearless tiger to the gate.

"Hey mister, what are you doing here?" a security guard asked with a harsh tone although he was already intimidated by Nathan's dreadful look.

"Open the gate! open the fucking gate!!" he yelled.

"Leave this premises Mr man before I harm you" as he holds his gun firmly to intimidate him.

Luckily for Nathan the guard was the only one at duty as the others were sent out for another mission.

He immediately dragged the security guard near him from the open spaces between the iron gate and punched him so hard that he fell and lost consciousness. He then picked the key and opened the gate.

He rushed immediately to the scene where Ethan, Mabel and their close friends were having a good time. "After the party haha" he thought to himself as he smiled at them.

He immediately got near Mabel and dragged her to follow him but she strongly resisted and immediately slapped him. It was a shameful slap just then Ethan rushed him and gave him a strong punch and he landed on the floor.

He immediately got up and launched a clever attack on Ethan giving him two devastating blows that got him landing on the seats and table.

This caused commotion and shouting among the guests who ran for their lives but just then Nathan sighted the security guards but this time he wasn't alone he was with about four more guards.

Seeing this,he knew that his mission there was over but as he was about to run, Ethan held him. He punched him again and he knelt down in pain.

As he proceeded to run Mabel immediately rushed and grabbed him so that the security guards would catch up with him.

Seeing this, Nathan was demoralized for not only did she leave him for another man she also wanted the guards to catch him especially when she knew what the outcome will be for him.

He immediately shrugged her off with force and then ran as fast as his leg could carry him.

It was already night hence he was able to escape. He was very relieved that he was able to escape but surely his life is about to change because he is about to be the most wanted man in the country.
