“Hey, are you okay?” James asked as he stood in front of Xi Shi who blinked her eyes as she remembered where she was.

“Are you feeling all right?” James asked again as Xi Shi noticed how close they were, her cheeks suddenly glowed with a light red hue.

“Oh sorry” James said awkwardly as he noticed this change and stepped backward.

“I’m also fine thank you, what is this piece of paper on me?” Liu Xiang asked as he looked down to see a piece of paper stuck on his chest with several runes on it.

“Make sure you don’t make the mistake of taking it off, those are concealment runes to shroud us from the thing in the core” James replied grimly.

“You mean that eye, did you see it too?” Xi Shi asked in surprise as she thought back to the intense pressure she felt from that eye.

“Huh did you see it?” James asked in shock.

“Yeah, right before we escaped the illusion, I saw a huge eye staring at us, at that moment, I could feel such intense pressure that I have only ever felt from a few people” Xi
