"What is it you noticed?" Nina asked curiously.

"Well, this will sound strange because they talk and behave like humans, but I think they're plants."

"Plants!?"

Nina's eyes widened.

"Strange, right? Orion, at least, isn't human, so I assume all of them must be the same," he said.

"I see. So what are we going to do now?"

"We don't know if they're harmful or not, so for now we just have to wait, I guess. But I'm still very uneasy about this place and a few things, so we should stay alert. Let's p

“Aish. That’s very unladylike,” Samuel complained as he controlled the yellow tiger, sending it soaring into the air.Once they were a little farther away from the forest, Samuel turned to her and asked, “So, where’s your home? I’ll drop you off before I leave.”“Hehe, drop me off at home? Unless you’re willing to go all the way to Brentihill, there’s no way you’re going to drop me off at home,” she said.“Brentihill? That’s indeed very far. What are you doing all the way out here, then?” he asked curiously.“Well, I ran away from home for some time, but I’m going back. In that moment of life and death, I realized how vain this world can be. I’m going back to fight for my sister,” she said resolutely.“Your sister? What happened to her?” Samuel asked.“She was being forced into a marriage by our stepfather. You see, she’s the one who’s supposed to inherit the sect, but there’s a rule that she must marry and give up her special virgin yin before she can receive the inheritance and beco

Rosalie swam out of the spring, grabbed Samuel by the arms, and began pulling him toward the surface.Mama Rita caught the movement out of the corner of her eye. Her teeth clenched, and fury twisted her features. Though she could barely move from where she lay, she stretched out a hand and grabbed a nearby rock. Then, forcing herself onto her side, she hurled it toward the spring with all the strength she could muster.Luckily, Rosalie dragged Samuel inside just in time. The stone whistled past them, missing by a fraction.********Samuel and Rosalie emerged from the other side of the Everfrost Spring.Samuel collapsed onto his back, his chest heaving. He fumbled for some energy stones, popped them into his mouth, and swallowed them whole, leaving Rosalie staring at him in disbelief."Aren't you going to die if you use energy stones that way?" she asked, her brows furrowing with concern."For others, maybe." He shrugged."Intriguing," she murmured."I should say the same about you. Ho

Samuel drew his sword."I don't know, but I was thinking I'm the one who should be asking the questions," he said, tightening his grip around the hilt."Ha, hahaha! You amaze me, little human. Where did you get that courage from? You couldn't even do anything when we captured you!" Omos laughed."Well, you ganged up on me," Samuel replied."All right, then. You have nothing to worry about now. I've told my hunters not to come to this area, no matter what. I'll take care of whoever dares to come here myself.""Really?"Samuel's eyes lit up.If the other hunters stayed away, his chances of surviving this encounter would increase considerably.Omos suddenly dashed forward without warning.Samuel reacted instantly. He grabbed Rosalie and hurled her toward the spring with all his strength."Samuel!"Her startled cry barely left her lips before Omos came within striking distance. The giant abruptly halted, his enormous feet scraping against the rocky ground as he tried to stop his momentum.

“Calm down. I’m going to free you all, one by one, but no noise. Once I open a cage, you must leave the chamber quietly and without making a sound before I move on to free the others,” Samuel instructed.“Alright. Can you free us first?” Weissman asked.“Can you shut up!?” Samuel snapped coldly. “I’m going to free everyone, so just shut up. If you keep talking, I might as well leave you here.”Weissman clamped his mouth shut. Although he wanted to argue, he didn’t dare. He wanted to live. The thought of remaining in this place terrified him, and if obedience was what it took to survive, then he would gladly comply.Samuel quietly opened the first cage, taking care not to make too much noise.Mama Rita was still asleep. She really was a heavy sleeper. He slipped inside and broke the prisoners’ chains.“Thank you,” the old man said sincerely.“Shh. Just take Rosalie with you and leave,” Samuel whispered.“But I want to wait for you,” Rosalie said nervously. She felt safe only when she w

Samuel looked at his cage mate. Only the two of them were inside the cage. She slowly raised her head and looked at him, curiosity flickering across her face.Samuel frowned. She looked very familiar. Had he seen her before? No way. He didn't know many people in this dimension."Are you from Crimson Vale?" he asked.Crimson Vale was where he knew the most people, after all."What?" She blinked in confusion.Samuel studied her face more closely. Now that he could see her clearly, he finally remembered where he had seen someone who looked like her. What was her name again?Lena. She was one of the first people he had met in this world. This lady bore a striking resemblance to her, but there were still a few differences. The shape of her eyes was slightly different, and even the way she carried herself wasn't quite the same. If he didn't know better, he could have easily mistaken them for twins. But that was completely impossible. They were from different dimensions."Sorry, I mistook yo

Samuel thought for a moment before taking the left path. After another thirty minutes, he finally found what he had been looking for.The Orna stones. But there were only about a hundred of them scattered across the ground.Samuel immediately activated the Primordial Devouring Art. Energy surged toward him, greedily pouring into his body as if it had been starved for years. He closed his eyes, savoring the sensation. This is bliss.Suddenly, he sensed movement. His eyes snapped open, and he immediately shot to the side.Boom!A huge rock crashed down where he had been standing a moment ago. The impact sent a violent tremor through the ground, making the entire place shake.Samuel turned and saw a giant man approaching. He was around twenty-five feet tall, with an enormous, muscular body. He gripped another massive rock in one hand, his expression cold and menacing.A giant woman followed closely behind him. She stood around twenty-three feet tall, her huge breasts wobbling with every
