“How dare she look down on me?”Micheal grumbled as he walked out of Sophia's office, still annoyed by the way she had spoken to him. He followed her instructions and entered the office beside hers, but the moment he stepped inside, his irritation quickly faded as he looked around in surprise. For a moment, he even wondered whether Sophia had arranged everything in advance just to keep him busy.The office was surprisingly well equipped. A large desk stood in the center of the room, with a complete computer setup, a printer, and everything he might need for office work. For a moment, he had been worried that Evelyn might somehow chase after him after discovering what had happened to her Lamborghini. He knew very well that she was going to be furious when she saw the condition of the car, and although buying her a new one would not be difficult for him, dealing with her anger was an entirely different matter.He had no doubt that Evelyn was capable of making his ears hurt with her complaints, so escaping before she arrived had seemed like the safest option. The man was still conscious, but the bullet wound in his thigh was bleeding badly, so Micheal tore a large piece from the man's shirt and wrapped it tightly around the wound to slow the bleeding.
