THWACK! THWACK! Brian landed two deafening slaps across Xavier’s face, causing his head to spiral.Xavier grunted, holding onto both cheeks while he staggered backward. The shock was intense, surging into silence among everyone while they stared with wide eyes. Xavier’s head was bent to the ground, and it cost him a lot of strength before he could lift his face. “Are you okay. Dad?!” Sarah hurried to him, grabbing him by the waist. “Are you okay?!” She asked with an urgent voice, holding onto her father.Xavier rubbed both hands on his cheeks, then he adjusted his jaw while he listened to be sure his eardrums had not been broken. His guards pulled closer without him asking, ready to fight on his behalf.“What are we going to do to him, Mr. Hopkins?” The first asked, cracking his knuckles while he faced Brian with anger brewing inside him.“I think we should take him to the back and beat him until all the bones in his body break.” The second suggested, burning inside.
