Brian remained calm even when the guards bowed to him, his expression still stoic.

Victor continued shaking, almost losing his breath.

The silence was gradually killing him, his eyes staring desperately while he struggled with the uncertainty that stung him.

When Brian turned to him, his heart sank deeper into his chest, and suddenly, it felt like his jacket no longer fit.
