Cedric Brown was at a loss for words when he suddenly heard Jean Jordan mumbling in her sleep, "Cedric Brown, you jerk! Get off my bed!"

Hearing her words, Cedric let out a sigh of relief, but a bitter smile crept onto his face. Jean was even scolding him in her dreams—how pathetic he was.

Turning to look at Jean lying on the bed, Cedric found it hard to look away. She worked out every day, which made her figure incredibly tempting. Her curves were stunning, especially her long, shapely legs. Jean was definitely the ultimate goddess in the eyes of many boys at school!

Cedric had only recently come to understand the dynamics between men and women. He had tried to touch Jean before, but she had firmly rejected him. For the past year, he had been sleeping on the floor, and it had been over a year since he had held her in arms. Unable to resist, Cedric walked over and gently stroked her face—it felt so soft.

As he glanced at Jean's chest, a rush of heat surged through him. He quickly stood up; if he kept staring, he might end up doing something he would regret. He didn't want to be like those two guys from earlier.

Instead, Cedric took out Jean's phone, opened her W******p, and added himself as a friend. He had never added anyone since creating that account, so Jean would have no idea it was him.

There must have been some issue with her training company; otherwise, she wouldn't have come here to drink. If she needed help, Cedric wouldn't mind transferring some money to her.

After sending the friend request, Cedric left.

Back in his own room, Cedric took a shower and tried to sleep. By morning, he checked out early, as he needed to go to the agency to handle some paperwork.

"My head hurts!"

Jean Jordan woke up, confused as she looked around the unfamiliar room. Suddenly, memories of last night flooded back—had she been r*p*d? Panic surged through her as she pulled back the covers, only to freeze in place.

She was still fully dressed, and there was no pain or discomfort. Did that mean she hadn’t been touched after all?

Curious, she went to the bathroom to strip down and check herself. To her surprise, everything seemed fine. What was going on? She distinctly remembered those two jerks dragging her in.

She struggled to recall the events of the night. There had been a loud shout—yes, that’s it! Could it be that someone had saved her?

It had to be!

Jean Jordan let out a sigh of relief as she got dressed and sat on the edge of the bed. She sighed again, realizing that she should finally sell her training company. She didn't want to deal with what happened last night anymore.

Ding!

A W******p notification popped up. Jean looked at her phone in confusion; it was a message from a stranger named "Tycoon."

Is he really a tycoon?

"Are you awake?"

Seeing the message, Jean's heart raced. This had to be the person who saved her last night and added her on W******p!

She quickly typed back: "Tycoon, are you the one who saved me last night?"

"Sort of."

"Thank you! Do I know you?" Jean asked.

"No."

"Then how can I thank you? If it weren't for you last night, I would have… (three crying emojis)."

"No need to thank me, but I do advise you to avoid being alone with strangers in hotels. It's too dangerous!"

"Thanks, I had some issues with my company, which is why I…" Jean replied.

“It’s Alright. By the way, what’s your account number and sort code?”

“Why are you asking me that?”

After twenty seconds of silence, Jean sighed. She guessed he probably thinks that she’s just some loose woman and doesn't want to talk to her anymore. Still, she felt grateful and wanted to meet him. She put her phone down, but then—

Ding!

The Tycoon transferred her 100,000 to her bank account!

Jean was stunned. This person actually give her 100,000?

Jean Jordan was taken aback and quickly replied, "Tycoon, what are you doing?"

"Isn't your company struggling? I just transferred some money to you, and you won't have to drink with people like that anymore."

Jean was sure she hadn't misread the message. Taking a deep breath, she responded, "Thank you, but you saved me last night, and I haven't even thanked you yet. How can I take your money any more?"

There was no reply from him! But then, ten seconds later—ding!

The rich guy transferred $100,000!

Jean was utterly shocked. Was this really a rich person? When did she know someone like this?

Curious, she clicked on the "Tycoon" profile to see his photos, but there were none. Who was this person?

"Thank you, but really, I can handle my own problems," Jean finally replied. She couldn't accept such a large sum from a stranger, nor did she dare to.

"Alright, but if you need help, feel free to contact me."

Seeing the "Tycoon" respond, Jean typed a quick thank you, transferred the money back and then put her phone down in confusion. Who was this person? Why was he helping her?

Filled with uncertainty, she thought for a moment and decided to sell her house. She could buy a smaller one and use the leftover money to try to revive her training company.

After all, her house and car were both earned through that training company! It felt wrong to just give up like this.

Determined, she decided to start packing her things, planning to move out and contact a real estate agent to sell her house...

Meanwhile, Cedric Brown looked at his phone and let out a bitter smile. She didn't want the money he sent? Well, at least he had made a connection with Jean. He never expected to be able to chat with her, and so politely. It was such a shame that it was not a face-to-face conversation.

Cedric Brown thought to himself that if Jean Jordan really ran into trouble, she would probably come to him for help. He could assist her then.

Before long, he arrived at the real estate agency. When the staff who had sold him his house saw Cedric, they immediately offered him tea and water, welcoming him to sit down. This deal had already earned them a lot this month; Cedric was practically their lucky charm!

“Mr. Brown, please wait a moment. The owner will be here shortly,” the staff member said politely.

Cedric nodded. He had no classes that morning since the holidays were approaching, so he played on his phone for a bit. Suddenly, he noticed Jean Jordan's car pull up outside, and he was taken aback. Could it be that high-tech tracking had led her to him?

Don’t panic, that’s impossible. But why was Jean Jordan suddenly at the agency? Was she selling a house?

Taking a deep breath, Cedric quickly excused himself to the restroom and cautiously peeked outside. He saw Jean Jordan walk in with a bag, and the other staff members immediately greeted her warmly. It was clear to everyone that Jean had the means to spend.

After just a few exchanges, the agency staff had Jean sign some papers, and then she left in her car.

Cedric stepped out and asked, “What was that beautiful lady here for?”

“She was selling a house!”

Cedric felt helpless. So Jean Jordan was really selling her house? Was her company in that much trouble? They hadn’t spoken much before, so he had no idea what her situation was like. He hadn’t expected this.

Soon, the owner of the property Cedric wanted to buy arrived. The agency staff took Cedric and the owner to complete the paperwork, which took a long time until the afternoon. Finally, Cedric had his own house! Just a few days ago, he had been worried about where to eat. Having a wealthy mom was definitely a blessing!

Back at the agency, Cedric asked the employee who had just talked with Jean Jordan about her situation. The employee said, “That lady was selling a three-bedroom house, about 1,400 square meters. Based on the market rate of around $9,000 per square meters, it’s about $1.2 million. She mentioned that if someone can pay in full, she could lower the price by up to $50,000!”

“So it could be around $1.2 million to settle everything!” Cedric's eyes lit up.

“Mr. Brown, are you interested?” The employee's eyes sparkled. A client who could drop over $300,000 on a property was definitely worth pursuing!

“Hold on, let me make a call,” Cedric said, pulling out his phone to call his mom. The call connected quickly. “Cedric!”

“Mom, I need a little more money…” Cedric Brown said.

“Sure, I’ll transfer you ten million right now!” His mom chuckled lightly.

“Mom, I need it for buying a house, but my money is not enough, so…” Cedric explained.

“No need for any excuses. If my son needs to spend money, he can spend as much as he wants. Just tell me how much you need,” she replied.

Cedric felt his eyes well up with tears. His parents had been absent during his childhood, and now that they were back, they treated him so well. It felt surreal, even if it was what he should expect.

“Thank you, Mom.”

“Don’t be silly. I’ll transfer it to you right now.”

After hanging up, within ten minutes, his phone buzzed with a notification: ten million had arrived! Adding that to the leftover money, he now had around eleven million. Cedric took a deep breath and walked over to the real estate agent. “Call her right now and tell her someone wants to buy her house!."

The surprise on Jean's face faded. If he wasn't working as an agent, what else could he be doing here?"Since you've chosen to do this, you should take it seriously. I’ve heard that if you do well, earning over a thousand dollars a month isn't a problem," Jean said, her tone softening as she offered some advice.Cedric nodded, but the thought of earning over a thousand dollars a month meant nothing to him now.
