“What? Why?!” Akash asked in shock, he didn’t believe Maratha Industries would have any choice at this point but to give out their company. This was truly not expected.

“Like I said, Mr. Maratha would rather not give the company to losers,” Vinod reiterated as Akash stared at him with a bewildered expression.

Vinod glanced at Arjun who shook his head slightly. That was Arjun telling him not to reveal his identity.

“You lack respect for your fellow human. That’s a basic technique skill even for a CEO,” Vinod continued as Akash realized what he meant by that.

“Do you mean I lack respect for him?” He pointed at Arjun, an incredulous scoff danced on his lips while Vinod maintained a stoic expression. “This fool?!” Akash repeated again, completely irritated that he was being scolded because of a nobody.

“I would advise you to mind your words, Mr. Akash. Everything is not always as it seems,” Vinod tried to control his anger, completely enraged that Akash was looking down on Arjun repeatedly.

“What do you mean by that nonsense?” It was Meera’s turn to hiss as Arjun watched calmly. “He is a nobody and should be looked down upon…..and scorned.” She snorted at Arjun whose fist tightened. She noticed how her words hurt him as Akash laughed out loudly.

“It seems the Maratha Industries is too proud to bow when they are supposed to,” Akash shoved his hands in his hair with a prideful gesture. “Your company is about to crumble and what you guys care about is the image of a mere cleaner in your company.” He narrowed a stare at Arjun as he gave him a quick survey. “You prefer to get me angry, the only person who has the power to save this company, compared to him….” He smirked at Vinod.

“Isn’t that stupid of you?” He asked Vinod who gritted his teeth in anger as he watched Akash.

“What?” Akash asked with a cocky raised brow. “Am I not right? Maratha Industries will be nothing if NexumCore isn’t fixed. Now, I am giving you a proposition to sell Maratha Industries to me at half its original value…”

“Isn’t half too much babe?” Meera cut in with a cute pout as Akash smirked. “Really? The company is useless anyways. I only want to help their miserable ass.” Akash rubbed Meera’s cheek lovingly while the other duo watched, the sight a sour scene for Arjun but he was going to make them pay tenfold when he was done with them.

Meanwhile, Arjun brought out his phone and texted Rohan, telling him exactly what he would say when he comes out to meet them. He has the perfect plan in mind to teach these two a lesson they would never forget.

“Is it too hard to understand that Maratha Industries will not for sale?” Rohan came out of his office that was just a few feet away from where they stood.

They all turned to see Rohan walking towards them.

“Ah, here comes Mr. Maratha! Your secretary seems not to know his place and keeps saying nonsense. But since you’re here, we can talk about the acquisition of Maratha Industries,” Akash said with a wide grin, ignoring the fact that Rohan wasn’t smiling at all.

Rohan’s eyes met with Arjun and he immediately understood what he was required to do.

“We won’t sell,” Rohan said with a curt tone.

“What?” Akash asked in surprise. He had felt Vinod was joking when he had said Maratha Industries won’t be sold.

“You heard me right,” Rohan said calmly. “And about the glitch Nexumcore…..” Rohan was tempted to ask him how he knew about it as no one knew the real reason why Maratha Industries would be going in ruins. The only plausible reason was that he was behind its glitch. Even though Rohan hated the fact that Arjun has taken over all of Maratha Investments, he hated the person who had put him the position at first. Akash, the sole reason why Maratha Industries would need Arjun’s help.

“We already have someone to correct it. Maratha Industries will come back stronger,” Rohan said with confidence. “And deal with those that have looked down on it in the past.” He gave Akash a cold glare.

“Someone to correct Nexumcore?” Akash asked, his tone hinting sarcasm. “Who might that person be? I heard Nexumcore was designed by the greatest Robotic engineer of all time. A man who is revered in the robotics world.” He continued with a cocky tone finding it hard to believe that Nexumcore would ever return to its original state.

According to the person he had employed to cause ruin to the Superhuman AI, anyone could make the superhuman AI have glitches daily but that glitch could only be corrected by its sole creator. And to Akash, the sole creator was no more. He just has a huge imagination of whom Nexumcore creator was.

“Him,” Rohan pointed to the person standing behind them as both Akash and Meera turned to find Arjun standing.

They looked beyond him and turned to Rohan again. “Where is he?” Meera asked with an impatient tone, both of them already pissed that their plan to acquire Maratha Industries might fall through.

“Mr. Arjun,” Rohan said again as both of them turned round to look at Arjun as they burst into hearty laughter.

“Oh my God. To think I was scared for a second,” Meera said while chuckling as she stared at Arjun.

“Isn’t that just the biggest joke of the century, babe?” Arjun asked Meera who nodded ferociously.

“I mean I know he is a robotic engineer and stuff but Nexumcore?” Meera asked with an incredulous scoff. “You can never be its creator. You only got lucky with the few Robots you created for Astra, dude.” She waved at Arjun who felt a strong tightness in his chest.

Got lucky? Was she joking with him right now?

Every Robotic AI he made for Astra was a hit. Meera knew he has always been intentional about his job. It took him blood, sweat, and tears to create every piece and now she was waving it as luck?

“In three days…” Arjun finally spoke. “I will correct Nexumcore's glitch and in exchange, you will give Maratha Industries your company, Rohan.”
