CHAPTER 7: Buying The Company

"I'm just a fucking loser..." Henry sobbed as he mumbled. But James couldn't catch it at all.

"Henry, where are you? I'll come over right now." Upon hearing that they seemed to be something, wrong with Henry, James was worried that he would do something stupid.

Following the location that Henry had sent him, James soon arrived at Blue ring.

Henry was sitting on the stairs with beer cans scattered all around him. It seemed like he already drank quite a lot.

"James, I'm so glad that you finally came." Henry was half drunk, his eyes red from crying.

It was said that men would not cry unless something big happened to them. When James saw Henry in such depression, he knew something big must have happened.

"James... I'm such a fucking coward!" As he spoke, Henry slapped himself on his face.

Seeing this, James grabbed his hand and said solemnly, "Hey, bro, just tell me what exactly happened. I'm gonna help you!"

"You..." Henry paused for a moment, then quickly shook his head and said, "forget it. We are no match for him. I'll just take it that she cheated on me."

The door to room 2111 opened.

"Can't you just wait a minute?" Aria was dressed in black lingerie and had heavy make-up on. Her hair was down. There were a few love bites on her neck, which were eye-catching.

Aria's eyes suddenly widened with surprise and anger as soon as she saw James at the door.

"James?"

Just as Henry said, Aria was indeed cheating on him. She has slept with this old bastard behind Henry's back.

"Aria, who is it?" A fat man wearing a loose bathrobe walked over, complaining in a hoarse voice, "What damned room service is this? You dared to interrupt us!"

"Oh, so it's you, kid." Lucas sneered and then hugged Aria next to him provocatively. His eyes filled with disdain as he said, "James, are you here to break the debauchery of your friend Henry?"

Lucas was James and Henry's boss in the technology company they used to work in. He was petty and cunning.

"Lucas, you slept with Henry's girlfriend without telling him first. Don't you think you are being somewhat rude?" James's gaze swept over Aria, who was disheveled, his eyes full of disdain.

"Did you say that I'm rude?" Lucas stretched out his hand and tapped James's chest even more, imprudently, saying, "Who do you think you are? You and Henry, one lives off their wife and the other delivers food all around like a wild dog."

"Let me tell you, even if I told him, he can't stop me from sleeping with Aria. Do you know why? Because I have money and power!"

Lucas had worked with the Bailey Group and had interacted with Ava before. He had been eyeing her for a long time.

However, such a beautiful young woman had married a loser like James.

What a pity!

"Henry is just a wretched delivery man while I own property worth millions. How can he compare to me?"

In the past, When James and Henry were employees in that company, Lucas would often scold them harshly. But they endured it to make a living.

However, things were different now. James had inherited his family business.

"Get lost! Don't stay here and ruin my mood!" After saying that, Lucas put his arm around Aria and walked in.

As the door was about to close, Aria glared at James.

"Aria, come on, babe! I can't wait any longer..." As he heard the disgusting voice coming from inside, James, who was in a fit of anger, called Leo immediately.

James strode into the elevator and said coldly, "Leo, I want to become the boss of Learn intelligence in ten minutes. Can you do that?"

"No problem, Mr. Miller," Leo replied with a smile.

Five minutes later, James' phone rang again. "Mr. Miller, it is done."

James did not expect Leo to finish these tasks so soon. He nodded in satisfaction.

"Lucas, just wait and see."

"I'll teach you a good lesson!" James said to himself inwardly.

Lucas, who was enjoying himself with Aria in the room, soon received a call. Hello, Mr. Ruben! What is it?"

"Come back to the office immediately. Let's get ready to welcome our new boss."

"Our new boss?" Hearing that, Lucas was stunned.

"Just now, someone paid 10 million and bought learn intelligence," Mr. Ruben told him. "I'm also on my way there now. You should head out now."

"Okay, I got it." After hanging up the phone, Lucas quickly got dressed and went back to the office.

Just as the red carpet has been laid out, James and Henry arrived at the door on a motorcycle used for delivery, leaving a conspicuous mark on it.

"That's right. it's James and Henry! What are they doing here?" Most of the staff standing by the side of the carpet were their previous colleagues.

"That is beyond my expectation. The two of them are so miserable now! They are making a living by delivering food!"

"Exactly! It's me, bastard!" James said with confidence as he got off the motorcycle.

"James, are you seeking death?" Just as Lucas was about to strike at him, Mr. Ruben's car arrived.

"Lucas, what are you doing?" Mr. Ruben ask with a dark face as he hurried off his car.

"Mr. Ruben, I'm clearing these undesirable people out to welcome our new boss." Lucas instantly changed his expression and said with a smile.

"James, get lost! Hurry up! And..." Pointing at the red carpet that James and Henry had stepped on, Lucas said, "You've ruined it, you better pay 2,000 dollars for it! Otherwise, I'll not let you two off! Just wait and see!"

However, what happened next shocked everyone.
