'Koff. Koff" Aiden slowly rose to his feet as he hacked up viciously, staining his face mask with his crimson red blood.

Not only was this opponent extremely fast. He was strong as well. If not for the system in built healing, he would've died from that last attack.

—[70 HP has been deducted to heal Host injury]

Ignoring the system notification, Aiden gave Jet Stream a grim look

"So you are a Gamma Warrior huh " his lips twitched.

If he had known better he would've used *Analysis* to check out the other party's cultivation before attacking. However from their clash, Aiden was able to figure out something.

At his current level, he could put up a decent fight with Omega Kings and even defeat them if he played his cards right.

However battling a Gamma Warrior was more difficult. Not to mention he was battling one who excelled at speed the most.

"The other Sentry Guilds would be arriving here any moment from now. I'd best finish you up before they show up" Jet Stream commented

"Hmm. Maybe you're right. However I don't recall there ever being a rule banning the use of foreign trump cards like enchanted armaments or glyph talismans" dropping these words, Aiden closed in on the third year Warlock Considering the current circumstances, he intentionally utilized a small portion of his raw Vampiric speed. However even while holding back, his movement speed was nothing to scoff about. Barely reacting to Aiden's actions, the third year Warlock hoisted his long staff as he gave it a quick spin before slamming it diagonally. Bang! A fist covered in pulsating arcs of lightning and a long staff collided against each other. A mild shockwave erupted outward and shockingly, Aiden was the one who ended up being forced back. "Hm?" titling his neck down, Aiden's brows knitted when he noticed the webbings on his right fingers were torn, pumping out a small stream of blood. "Heh. You look shocked.." the third year Warlock grinned when he noticed the lightning gauntlet

"So what's the game plan?" Oge whispered to Aiden from within the large dueling stage as they keenly observed the other finalists taking to the stage as well. Besides them, Red Rose silently fixated her gaze on Aiden as well, awaiting his input. "Do you see those twelve over there?" Aiden nudged towards the north east area. "What about them?" "They're Zone Users and also Seniors, meaning they are our greatest competition. If we want to ace this final round, we have to take out three of them.." Aiden replied. "However I think it would be smart if we save them for last.." he added. "So we deal with the small fries and focus on the sharks.. that's a--" "Brilliant plan? I know.." Aiden smacked his lips. "I was going to say unrealistic. It's not like we are running on an infinite source of energy like you. It would be unfortunate if we end up dealing with the small fries, only to operate on fumes when facing the big sharks.." Oge retorted. "That's why we need to be smart. I tru

"This is strange. I half expected seeing you sporting a gloomy face like yesterday.." Aiden who had just walked into Nightshade Academy training field, tilted his head towards Derlulo's direction who was slowly approaching him. "Let's just say I found a way to create my own happiness.." casting his gaze around, Aiden noticed there was now a bleacher like construct surrounding the entire training field. However if one squinted their eyes closely, they'd notice that these bleachers appeared to look a bit translucent.. The key defining trait of a Rune Matrix. "There's only one battle stage?" Aiden noticed a large dueling stage rooted in the middle of the spacious field. Compared to the dueling stages the previous day, this one was five times larger in size. "Considering you left early before things came to an end yesterday, you didn't hear the announcement.." Derulo slowly began walking towards the spectators bleachers. "Judging based on points and bouts won, ninety of the Academ

Tap. Tap. Tap. 'Hm?" Aiden's ears twitched as he noticed Oge slowly emerge from the rising cloud of smoke mixed with dirt particles. "You're completely unhurt?" his brows shot up in surprise. Apart from a portion of her body ridden with holes, not s single injury could be spotted across Oge's body. "I almost did.." Oge replied, dragging the tip of her saber across the ground. Unconscious tilting his eyes downward, Aiden discovered that a majority of the soul weapon's blade was enveloped in a thick layer of steam-like mist. "Since when was the Silverback Dance capable of defense?" his brows creased in a questioning manner. "It isn't.." Oge's suddenly twirled her wrist, hoisting the saber off the ground as she sent a swift saber slash towards Aiden's direction. Bang! Crossing his right arm reinforced within the blood exoskeleton across his face, Aiden felt a shockwave travel across the tissues on his arm as he was forced back by three meters, nearly vomiting a small mouthful o

  • Chapter 428 — Aiden Vs Oge [II]

Bang! Kriiish! Lightning arcs sparked across the air as a pulsating orb of lightning and the blade of a saber were caught in a deadlock."Nghn.." Aiden grunted in distaste. Perhaps it was a coincidence but he slowly began gaining the upper hand, causing tiny cracks to appear across the surface of Oge's soul weapon. As for the terrain around them, the pressure created from their deadlock ended up flattening it; almost like it a nuke had been set off. Fortunately, the entirety of the Manor's premises was cloaked with a powerful Rune Matrix, making it possible that the shockwaves from their battle didn't extend beyond the Manor's premises. "Tch.." ignoring the swirling gale of dirt, Oge found herself being forced back. She was slowly being forced back into the defensive. "Now's my chance!" In an effort to take advantage of her fleeting distraction, a ruthless glint flashed across Aiden's eyes as he suddenly clenched the majority of his left fingers except for his index and middle

  • Chapter 427 — Aiden vs Oge

Relying on his base Vampire speed, Aiden made the first move as he closed in on Oge. Clenching his right fist, he pulled it back before slamming a straight punch towards her face. The sheer power packed into that single force caused the air pressure to pop. Form the view point of an outsider, Oge's head was going to be turn into a squashed water melon if the hit successfully landed. "Nanao.. Lush Green.." this time, Oge sensibly chose to summon her Soul Weapon right off the bat. She had just grippoed the hilt of the saber when she held it in front of herself in an attempt to block Aiden's incoming punch. Bang! The shockwave caused from the collision, caused dust to carelessly fly around as Oge was forced skidding back for seven meters before coming to a stop. Although her saber managed to block Aiden's punch, the shockwave transmitted ended up rattling her internal organs, causing a drop of blood to slid out from her nostrils. "I still got it.." Aiden smirked in satisfaction b
