Liam deepened the kiss, his hand sliding boldly down Vivian’s back to grab and squeeze her ass right in front of the watching crowd. Wolf whistles and cheers erupted around them, champagne glasses clinking in celebration of the spectacle.

Rooted to the marble floor, Tony felt the divorce papers crumple inside his trembling fist. None of this felt real; it had to be some sick nightmare he would wake from at any second.

Yet right before his eyes, the woman he had spent three years serving, enduring insults for, and loving unconditionally was being groped by another man—in their home, on their anniversary.

When they finally broke apart, Liam grinned down at a breathless Vivian before turning to address the crowd with a theatrical flourish.

"Well, I'd say that's what you call an upgrade, wouldn't you?" Waving a lazy hand in Tony's direction without bothering to look at him, he added, "Straight from the discount bin to the luxury collection."

The room exploded with laughter, and several guests actually applauded.

Straightening his immaculate white jacket, Liam soaked in the spotlight. "Of course, I couldn't arrive empty-handed." He snapped his fingers at the uniformed attendants waiting behind him. "Boys, show the lady what real generosity looks like."

Stepping forward in practiced synchronization, the attendants unfastened the towering gold-foiled boxes. Gasps of awe rippled through the hall as the contents were unveiled one by one.

"First, a limited-edition Himalaya Birkin," Liam announced smoothly, revealing a rare crocodile-leather handbag. "Second, six-carat diamond earrings straight from Cartier's private vault." He gestured toward the final box with an arrogant wink. "And to top it off, two first-class tickets and the presidential villa in the Maldives—so Vivian and I can finally celebrate in private."

As the crowd cooed in envy, Vivian beamed, her eyes glittering with greed while her mother clasped her hands in sheer delight.

Then, Liam’s expression twisted into something far crueler. "Oh, wait—I almost forgot. I brought a little something for the useless husband, too." Sweeping his gaze across the room, he locked eyes with Tony and sneered. "Where is he? Ah, there you are, cowering like a stray dog."

Sauntering down the steps, his Italian leather shoes clicking sharply against the marble, Liam stopped just inches from Tony. Close up, the overpowering scent of his designer cologne mingled sickeningly with the fresh smear of Vivian’s red lipstick on his mouth.

"Tell me, Tony—or do you prefer being called 'the help'?" Liam chuckled, his voice dripping with mockery. "I really have to thank you for being so accommodating these past few months. While you were here scrubbing toilets, Vivian and I were having a very nice time together." Leaning in closer, he made sure his next words carried to the nearest guests. "That kiss just now? Tasty, sure, but it’s nothing compared to what she lets me do to her behind closed doors."

Something inside Tony snapped.

"You bastard!" Roaring in fury, Tony lunged forward and grabbed Liam by the collar, cocking his fist back to smash that smug face.

Before his knuckles could connect, two massive bodyguards lunged from the crowd, seizing Tony’s arms and wrenching them violently behind his back. As Tony thrashed against their iron grip, Margaret frantically pulled out her phone and pressed it to her ear.

"Hello, police?! Come quickly to the Clark Mansion!" she shrieked into the receiver. "There's an insane man here attacking our guests!"

Unfazed, Liam brushed imaginary dust from his lapels and stepped closer, his eyes turning glacial. "Big mistake, trash. You just tried to assault me in front of fifty witnesses. Once the cops arrive, I'll make sure you rot in a prison cell until the day you die."

"Enough of this embarrassment, Tony!" Vivian snapped, marching over with her arms crossed. "Just sign the divorce papers and get out!"

The fight drained out of Tony all at once, replaced by a crushing wave of heartbreak. Tears stung his eyes as he stared at his wife. "Why, Vivian?" His voice cracked. "After everything I did for you... why are you doing this to me?"

Vivian let out a cold, savage laugh. "Everything you did? You did nothing but drag me down! Look at yourself, Tony—you're a penniless parasite living under my roof, eating our food, and wearing rags. Every time someone asks about my husband, I want to crawl into a hole and die of shame! Liam has wealth, status, and power. What do you have? Nothing. You're pathetic."

Laughter echoed through the ballroom again as the guests mocked his tears.

Yawning dramatically, Liam checked his diamond-encrusted watch. "God, this is boring. Let's wrap it up. His thumbprint will count as a legal signature."

At his nod, the bodyguards kicked the backs of Tony's knees, forcing him to crash onto the hard marble floor.

While one guard pinned his shoulders down, another pried his hand open, jammed his thumb onto a red ink pad, and smashed it directly onto the signature line of the divorce agreement.

All around them, smartphones came out. Blinding flashes lit up the room as guests recorded the humiliating spectacle, laughing as they captured every second on video.

Released from their grip, Tony remained on his knees, his chest heaving and his red-stained thumb trembling against the floor. Slowly, he raised his head and glared straight into Liam’s eyes.

"The way you disgraced me tonight, Liam... mark my words. I will make you regret ever crossing my path."

Liam burst out laughing, doubling over to clutch his stomach before mimicking Tony in a high-pitched, whining voice

"I'll make you regret crossing my path! Boo-hoo!" Straightening up, he tilted his head toward the tall windows, where the distant wail of police sirens was already cutting through the night air. "If I were you, tough guy, I'd start running before the cops slap you in cuffs."

Reaching into his pocket, Liam pulled out two crisp hundred-dollar bills and flicked them down onto Tony’s head, letting them flutter to the floor.

"There's two hundred bucks. Go buy yourself some decent clothes so you don't look like a beggar on the street."

As the room howled with laughter, Tony didn't touch the money. He gave Vivian one last look, then scrambled to his feet, turned, and bolted out the open front doors .

Watching him flee, Liam kept a charming smile on his face as he leaned toward his lead bodyguard and whispered coldly, "Follow him and Kill him"

Without offering an apology or even a glance, Tony brushed right past Vivian in icy silence, leaving her frozen in place as the weight of his complete indifference crushed her pride. Rubbing his bruised shoulder, Liam hurried to stand beside his father and leaned in close. "Dad, is the plan still on?" Harold gave a subtle nod, keeping his eyes fixed on the main stage. "Plan A—turning father and son against each other—is already in motion, and Plan B has just been initiated. Before this night is over, the entire Ragnar empire will belong only to us." Vivian hissed, yanking her arm free. "What are you doing yelling at me like that in front of everyone?""What am I doing?!" Liam whispered fiercely, his eyes wide with panic. "What the hell are you doing here, Vivian?! How did you even get past the gates?""I've been trying to call you all evening!" she shot back, frustrated and confused. "Why have you been avoiding my calls? And why didn't you send my family an invitation to this party?"Liam dragged a trembling hand down his face. • chapter 6- Family Secrets

"Holy shit, this is massive!!" The iron gates parted unveiling a private estate so vast that Tony couldn't see where the grounds ended. As the convoy of armored black SUVs moved up the sweeping cobblestone drive, he pressed his forehead against the tinted glass, his jaw slackening in pure awe. The Ragnar mansion wasn't merely a house; it was a palace carved from white marble and steel, rising five stories above acres of manicured gardens, tiered fountains, and tree-lined avenues. For three years, Tony had scrubbed the floors of the Clark estate thinking that was the pinnacle of wealth. Looking up at the Ragnar fortress, he realized the Clarks lived in a glorified shack by comparison. When the vehicles came to a halt beneath the grand portico, Daniel stepped out and guided Tony through the massive double doors into the main foyer. Inside, the ceiling soared three stories overhead, dominated by a cascading crystal chandelier that scattered warm light across the polished floors.

"I have to admit, I'm really enjoying this," Tony whispered "Watching Liam get slapped twice in a row is easily the best entertainment I've had all year." Down on the floor, Liam’s face twisted with humiliated fury, his eyes glistening with hot, angry tears that he barely held back. Letting out a breath, Tony raised his good hand in awkward denial. "As much as I appreciate you teaching your son some manners, Mr. Foster, I'm sorry—you must have gotten the wrong person. I'm nobody's Young Master." Hoping to slip away before things got any weirde
