A stunned silence filled the area, the manager's words sinking deep in their guts and slapping them in the face.

Arthur felt glances thrown his way, even from Brad and his father; however, he remained calm.

“Were you sent by Mason?” Arthur asked with a frown.

He had never seen or met this man in his life, so how could he know him?

Sensing Arthur's confusion, the manager deepened his bow, “Yes, young master.”

Arthur had no idea how the manager could identify him precisely, but he knew Mason was behind it.

“Please stand,” Arthur said calmly. “I am not angry, but you need to discipline your people.”

The manager quickly bowed again, answering enthusiastically.

“Thank you, young master. I'll be sure to take care of all of them.”

Then, without a second hesitation, he turned to face the attendants.

“All of you kneel! Apologize to the young master and his friends right now!” He shouted.

The attendants and the security men hurdled together, confusion written on their faces as they looked be

“Well…” Martin began, closing his eyes as if deep in thought. The Harris family’s stares bore into his skin, making his hesitation stretch into something uncomfortable.Racheal watched the flicker of conflict on his face, and her own expression darkened with resentment. Her fists clenched, nails biting into her palm as her complexion paled.Like Martin, her affection was a façade. The only reason she was still with him was to secure her position in the Harris Group. Once that was done, she’d discard him without a second thought. Her unborn child was her last card—the key to everything. If Martin couldn’t help her now, she risked losing both the company and him.The thought made her jaw tighten. Then regret seeped in, swift and bitter. If only she hadn’t been so impulsive… If she hadn’t ended things with Arthur so coldly, she wouldn’t be in this position. If she’d kept him close—fed him a little false hope—maybe he’d still be groveling at her feet, begging for another chance.Pity.“Ma

Arthur stared at the message glowing on his phone screen, disbelief knitting his brows. “Come to Salvador’s Clinic. Now.” Salvador’s Clinic — the same place where Madam Ayun had taken her last breath. Does this have something to do with Mom? Is that why Rachel’s calling me? he wondered, but quickly dismissed the thought. If something were wrong, Mason would’ve said something. Still, as he looked at the message, a strange pull tightened his chest. Even though Rachel had humiliated him, he couldn’t deny that he had once cared for her. But that was the past. They were divorced now, and she had clearly moved on. He had no intention of getting tangled in her web again. With a tired sigh, Arthur tossed his phone onto the bed and leaned back. Today had been exhausting enough; he needed rest. His mother’s funeral was in three days. That alone was more than he could bear. --- Meanwhile, at the top floor of Salvador’s Clinic, chaos was brewing. Rachel paced the sterile hallway,

After the afternoon’s incident, Mason had insisted they remain hidden, protecting Arthur wherever he went. Arthur didn’t argue. All he wanted now was rest. But before he could head upstairs, Mason’s voice stopped him.“Young master, Madam Ayun’s burial needs to be arranged. Everything is ready. How should we proceed?”Arthur froze mid-step. Mason’s words struck him like thunder.Had it really only been yesterday she died—and his life turned upside down?A dry laugh escaped his

Meanwhile, in the bustling city, chaos erupted inside Green Haven Hospital — one of the most prestigious private hospitals in the country.“Who the hell did this to my son?!” Hugo Parker thundered, his voice reverberating through the ward as he glared at the unconscious figure on the bed.Vinn lay swathed in bandages, his once proud face pale and bruised under the harsh white lights.Since becoming patriarch of the Parker family, Hugo had never experienced humiliation like this.In all of Sky City, who didn’t know the name Parker? Who would dare lay a hand on his blood?Someone had, and they would pay dearly for it.His gaze swept across the room — past the trembling nurses and pale-faced doctors huddled in a corner — before locking onto the two bodyguards standing stiffly by the door.“What happened?” he asked, his voice dropping into a deadly calm. The guards exchanged a wary glance before one spoke up, his voice quivering. “Young Master Vinn and Miss Claudia had just finished shopp

“So, you’re a rich man now?” Brad asked with a teasing grin.Arthur sighed quietly. To avoid frightening his friend, he had given a watered-down version of the truth — a fabricated story about saving an old wealthy man who later willed a company to him.It was a ridiculous lie, but necessary. Keeping Brad and his father away from his real identity was the safest choice.“Yeah,” Arthur replied simply.“That’s so cool! It’s like one of those novels I read where the hero rises from nothing.” Brad’s eyes glimmered with envy for just a moment before dimming again. If only his life were like that, then maybe his father wouldn’t have to struggle so much.“What nonsense are you thinking now?” his father scolded, giving him a light smack on the back of the head.Brad winced. “Ouch—Dad, quit it!”Arthur couldn’t help but smile faintly as he watched their playful exchange. Seeing the father and son bicker so naturally made him feel oddly relieved — it was a comforting reminder of normalcy. Then,

Gasps rippled through the crowd as the men in black fanned out, instilling fear with each coordinated step they took.Their boots struck the pavement in unison, the insignia on their shoulders gleaming faintly—a silver falcon mid-flight—a symbol that commanded recognition and fear.“What is the silver falcon doing here?”“Quick, get back! I think that young man might really be a young master!”The crowd murmured in fear, backing further away as the men in black rushed past them toward Arthur. They quickly formed a tight ring around him, heavy guns aimed at the crowd with precise determination, ready to take down anyone they deemed a threat. The sight was suffocating. Each man wore an earpiece, their expression hidden behind the dark visor covering their face.“You there!” The leader of the unit pointed at Joyce, his voice clipped. “Don’t you know how to act around the young master? Show respect to your young master!”Their words rang loud and bold, addressing all the employees, who ne
