Damien stood quietly, his eyes calm. He watched as Serenity pointed at him, her voice sharp and strong.

“Arrest him now!” she shouted.

At once, the men moved quickly into the room. Their faces showed no feeling as they moved toward Damien.

Damien just stood there, not afraid at all. Instead, a small smile came onto his face, gentle but strong.

“Serenity,” he asked softly, almost friendly, “do you really think this is the best choice?”

Serenity looked at him coldly. Her eyes were hard, but Damien saw that deep inside she was not as sure as she seemed.

“You think I'm joking, Damien?” she said loudly. “You have crossed the line!”

Damien shook his head softly, smiling just a little.

“What did I do, Serenity?” Damian asked gently.

“Do you even know why you're doing this?”

At that moment Serenity stared at Damien. For a short moment, she was quiet. Her eyes were thinking hard. But then, she shook her head as if shaking off her thoughts.
