Josephine stared at the magnificent manor before her, her mouth agape in amazement.

The tall iron gates stood majestic and imposing, revealing lush gardens and well-arranged buildings inside.

Cyrus stepped out of the car first, then carefully carried Josephine out.

"From today on, this is your home," Cyrus said softly.

Josephine's eyes widened as she stared at him, unable to believe what she'd heard.

"How... How is this possible?" she murmured.

Cyrus smiled and carried her into the manor.

The interior looked even more luxurious.

Crystal chandeliers hung from the high ceiling, sparkling like stars.

Soft Persian carpets covered the entire floor, making each step feel like walking on clouds.

Valuable paintings by famous artists adorned the walls, exuding an air of sophistication.

Antique shelves displayed various rare artifacts and pieces, overwhelming her senses.

Josephine was stunned by the luxurious sight, never imagining she would find herself in such a place.

Cyrus gently placed Josephine on the sofa, his movements as tender as if he were handling a fragile treasure, afraid of causing her any pain.

As soon as Josephine touched the soft sofa, her body sank slightly into it, enveloped by a comfort she had never experienced before.

Cyrus carefully adjusted her position for comfort and placed a cushion behind her.

He snapped his fingers, and several maids approached with a tray full of precious medicinal herbs.

Cyrus and Josephine's eyes met.

"Josephine, do you trust me?" Cyrus's gaze was sincere and intense, as though piercing through her soul.

Josephine hesitated slightly, her eyes full of confusion and doubt, but under Cyrus's steady gaze, she nodded faintly.

"I... I trust you," Josephine's voice was weak but carried a hint of determination.

"Good. Let me help you remove your clothes. Please give me seven days, and I will cure you!" Cyrus said firmly.

Cyrus's tone was full of confidence. He wasn't just Lord Hades. Besides killing, he could heal, and Josephine's condition was child's play to him.

"Well... Do I have to remove my clothes?" Josephine asked timidly, her eyes full of shyness and unease. After all, she had only known Cyrus for less than two hours.

Noticing her nervousness, Cyrus patiently explained, "Josephine, these herbs must be applied directly to your wounds. Clothes will affect their efficacy. Besides, your grandfather has already agreed to let you marry me. You're my wife now."

Josephine trembled slightly at his words, her blush deepening.

"But... we just met," she whispered, her voice barely audible, tinged with shyness and hesitation.

Cyrus gently held her hand and said, "Josephine, don't worry. Trust me. Everything will be fine."

Josephine bit her lip, feeling conflicted, but finally nodded slightly, consenting to Cyrus's actions.

Seven days later, Josephine lay in bed, covered in bandages like a mummy.

"Stand up." Cyrus's voice was firm and powerful, carrying an irresistible magic.

Josephine sat on the bed, her eyes filled with hesitation and fear, but under Cyrus's encouraging and expectant gaze, she took a deep breath and supported herself on the edge of the bed, trying to stand.

Her legs trembled slightly, fine beads of sweat forming on her forehead. Every movement seemed extremely difficult for her.

"Come on, you can do it!" Cyrus encouraged her continuously.

When Josephine finally managed to stand, her eyes sparkled with joy and disbelief, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably.

"I... I really stood up!" Her voice trembled with excitement.

Cyrus stepped forward, gently supporting her, his face beaming with satisfaction.

"I told you you could do it," Cyrus said softly.

Josephine looked at him, her heart overflowing with gratitude and joy. "Thank you, Cyrus. I don't know what I would have done without you."

"Now, let me remove your bandages," Cyrus said, his voice steady and gentle, his gaze focused and serious as though this was an extremely important task.

Josephine nodded slightly, her eyes filled with both anticipation and nervousness.

Cyrus carefully began unwrapping the bandages, each movement incredibly gentle as if afraid of causing her pain.

As the bandages were unwrapped layer by layer, Josephine's skin was gradually revealed, the once-scarred areas now smooth.

When Cyrus saw Josephine, despite having encountered countless beautiful women, he was momentarily stunned.

"You're so beautiful," he murmured.

"Really?" Josephine asked, her voice soft and uncertain.

Josephine stood naked in front of the mirror, gazing at her reflection with wonder and delight in her eyes.

Her body, once covered in scars and wounds, was now flawlessly perfect, her flawless skin radiating an enchanting glow.

She gently ran her hands over her body, marveling at this rebirth-like beauty.

"I've become... so beautiful..." she whispered, her voice trembling.

Cyrus walked up behind her, his eyes full of tenderness and love as he looked at her through the mirror. "Josephine, you've always been beautiful. Now, you're even more attractive."

Josephine turned around, her face flushing as she said with shy gratitude, "Cyrus, thank you. You've given me a new life."

Cyrus embraced Josephine, his voice warm and steady. "You're my wife. This is what I should do."

Josephine felt the warmth of his embrace, her heart racing as she buried her face in his chest, gently wrapping her arms around his waist.

"But I still want to thank you. I'll stay by your side from now on," Josephine said softly, her voice carrying determination.

Cyrus held her tightly, resting his chin on top of her head. "Josephine, my world is only complete with you in it," he said gently.

At that moment, their embrace seemed frozen in time like a beautiful painting, the air around them filled with sweetness and warmth.

"Let's get married," Cyrus suggested.

Josephine was slightly startled, her cheeks instantly turning red. She looked up at him, her eyes filled with both joy and hesitation.

"It's a bit too soon..." Josephine said softly.

Cyrus took her hand, his gaze firm yet gentle. "Not soon at all. I want you to officially become my wife and rightfully stay by my side for life."

Cyrus's heartfelt words made the hesitation in Josephine's mind gradually melt away. She nodded, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "Okay, let's get married."

These past few days, she had never felt such genuine and deep care.

In the past, she had been neglected and bullied in the Thompson family, never having someone cherish her so dearly.

Now, every caring glance, warm word, and thoughtful gesture from Cyrus was like sunshine in winter, gradually melting her icy heart.

She had never experienced such meticulous care.

Cyrus would prepare milk at the perfect temperature for her in the morning, quietly adjust the lighting when she read, and gently massage her shoulders when she was tired.

Even the smallest preferences she mentioned casually, Cyrus would remember and fulfill them unexpectedly.

She had never felt such wholehearted companionship.

Whether on sunny afternoons or under starlit skies, Cyrus was always by her side, sharing every moment of joy and sorrow, ensuring she never felt lonely or helpless.

When he answered, his face turned pale, and cold sweat began to bead on his forehead."Benjamin,

Lance frowned and said after a moment of contemplation, "If it really is someone from the Parker family, we're in trouble. We wiped out the entire Parker family back then, but it seems some of them managed to survive the massacre."David snapped harshly, "Who cares if he's from the Parker family or not? Anyone who dares to oppose the Anderson family must die!"Sarah shook her head weakly and said, "It's not that simple. If he really is from the Parker family and waited until now to make their move, he must be well-prepared. We can't afford to let our guard down."John nodded, his expression serious. "Exactly. We need to handle this carefully. First, let's send people to investigate the Parker family's past and look for any clues. We have to figure out who the masked man is."Lance added, "We also need to strengthen our home's defenses in case he attacks us again."David, growing impatient, shouted, "Hmph! I'd like to see just how capable he really is!"The next day, Cyrus drove an ord
