Decorated with roses, twinkling lights looked beautiful to the eye, the chefs were busy preparing dishes that were cooked directly in front of close relatives. The lights seemed to decorate the entir room, adding to the glamour of this evening's event.

Russell's residence was filled with close relatives who were also present to celebrate Mrs. Doris' 71st birthday. Doris is the head of the Russell family.

The woman who still looked beautiful in her old age was sitting in her oversized chair, looking at her family from the throne.

"Grandma, this is a fancy blue diamond worth 3.9 million per carat," said Sara after standing in front of Doris, who looked at her with a sweet smile.

"My dear, you just know that Grandma really likes diamonds and this is the most beautiful," said Doris while looking at a necklace with a fancy blue diamond pendant in the shape of a crown.

"Grandma, Maike wrapped that luxurious gift for you, I just held it out," said Sara as she turned to Maike.

"Sara, you don't need to exaggerate, darling, the price of the diamond is not much more than Grandma Doris' sacrifice for the Russell family," replied Maike, feeling humble.

"Maike, thank you. May God bless you and grandma will never regret that you joined the Russell family," answered Doris as she rubbed the diamond necklace that was beautifully placed around her neck.

"Grandma, this is an Internal Pick diamond, this is one of the rarest diamonds in the entire world," said Janet as she held it out in front of Doris.

The 71-year-old middle-aged woman's smile widened perfectly after finding out that the diamond she was after was right before her eyes, this was the rarest diamond ever and Doris wanted it, only she had not had time to buy it because she was busy with matters at the company, now the diamond has become his. Two diamonds that he really liked, they were amazing.

"Janet, you just know that Grandma has wanted this diamond for a long time, quickly put the ring on Grandma's finger," said Doris, who couldn't wait to see the pink internal diamond ring circling on her ring finger.

“Okay Grandma. "Dion and I deliberately set aside our money to buy this rare diamond to please Grandma," said Janet while winking at Dion, who only smiled sweetly.

"Dion, you are the best, Grandma approves of your relationship with Janet," said Doris, rubbing the ring Janet gave her.

“Jessy, what did your husband give Grandma? "Will he give you rhinestones sold on the side of the road," Janet teased as she pulled one of her condescending smiles.

"Janet, what are you saying? It's impossible for a person like him to have the money to buy rhinestones, even selling a bunch of used sacks won't enable him to buy the rhinestones," said Sara, no less cruel than Janet.

A man who was sitting at the table at the far end of the room stared angrily at the two women who insulted him, whether he wanted to be angry or not, what they said was true, Axel didn't have a penny of money.

Axel Fulton was married to Jessy for approximately 3 years, they were married because of an arranged marriage from Jessy's grandfather and a year later his grandfather died. Axel saved Jessy's grandfather's life and after that the match took place. Doris never agreed to Jessy and Axel's marriage, but could not go against her late husband's orders until the marriage took place.

"Janet, Sara, watch your words, it's not appropriate for you to treat my husband like this," Jessy growled, not accepting that her husband was insulted by his two brothers.

"Jessy, shut up! "What Sara and Janet said is true, that tramp shouldn't be at Russell's residence, this family really doesn't benefit from his presence, he doesn't have anything, he can only eat and sleep," said Doris, silencing Jessy's mouth.

Jessy was about to speak up, but Anna rolled her eyes, asking Jessy to be quiet, not to cause trouble on her grandmother's birthday.

"Jessy, what they say is true, I'm useless," said Axel, holding his wife's hand with a calm look. Axel was angry, but there was nothing he could do, he had nothing to be proud of.

Jessy was silent. Hold back the anger that has risen to the top.

"Ha ha ha! "Look Jessy, your husband is just silent, he realizes that he is not part of this family, and he is nothing more than an in-law, he is nothing, his presence between us is like a disgrace," said Sara cruelly, condescendingly.

"We better not ruin Grandma's birthday, ignore that loser, and we should return to focusing on this party, doesn't everyone have given their gifts, that means the dance party can start," said Anna, interrupting their argument so that this party wouldn't catch fire with her children's emotions. Who fight each other.

“Please dance and enjoy the food, we will party until morning! The waiter brings out the Tequila Ley!” Doris ordered as she stood up from the throne.

"Honey, let's dance," Dion said to Janet, but his eyes glanced at Jessy, who immediately looked away when she met his gaze.

Janet accepted her lover's outstretched hand, stepped onto the dance floor, music started playing, adding to the excitement of Doris' birthday event.

After some time, Sara and her husband also took to the dance floor. Axel noticed Jessy's face looking at them, he thought if his wife also wanted to get on the dance floor.

"Jessy, come down with me, let's dance," said Axel as he stretched out his hand in front of Jessy with his body half bowed politely.

Jessy nodded, when her hand almost touched Axel's hand, Doris' voice stopped her.

“Loser! Clean up the dirty dishes on the table, you wash them in the kitchen to help your other colleagues!" Doris ordered. The command that contained cruel insults was thrown out by the middle-aged woman.

"What does Grandma mean?" Jessy asked, not liking what the middle-aged woman said.

"That man is nothing more than a servant in the Russell family's house, he is even lower than the servants in our house! The workers in this house get a salary every month while that man only gets one spoonful of rice just to maintain his status as son-in-law in the family Russell, embarrassing.” Doris stared at Axel with hatred, disgust dominated her heart as if the man was a sack of rubbish that had a bad smell and immediately wanted to be removed from this magnificent house.
