Trapped in a Deadly Survival Show

Chapter 005

‘What? I sucked the wrong spot?’ Anthony wondered internally. But he was a man of his word. When Sandra asked him to close his eyes, he complied without peeking. Unsure whether he was actually sucking on the wound, he reluctantly extended his tongue, gently licking and using the tip to probe and locate the injury.

As his smooth, moist tongue touched Sandra's private area, she couldn't help but shiver, and her breathing quickened. "Ah, not there! You got it wrong, you jerk! Lower down," she gasped.

Realizing his mistake as his tongue slid into an unexpected crevice, Anthony quickly shifted his position. His tongue now sensed several small puncture wounds. Sucking vigorously, he tasted a bitter liquid tinged with the faint scent of blood—the venomous blood!

Anthony turned and spat it out, "Pah!"

In general sense, snake venom only takes effect once it enters the bloodstream. But Anthony didn't want to take any chances with it lingering in his mouth, especially if he had any tiny cuts there. Sucking and spitting repeatedly, his cheeks ached from the effort.

When it was all done, he rinsed his mouth with some water. He then found Sandra lying on the ground, barely breathing and seemingly unconscious. 

Her limbs were cold to the touch. Concern filled him. So he carried her into a cave, nestled her close, and held her tightly to share his body heat.

His heart was tumultuous. If Sandra's luck was poor, she might not survive the night and could become a stiff corpse by morning. The thought sent a shiver of horror through him. 

Why was this 'Wild Survival' show so dangerous? Where the heck was the crew? More unfortunately, due to the show's rules, none of the participants could bring phones or any electronic devices, leaving them completely stranded.

Holding Sandra's soft body, Anthony felt a bit comforted. ‘Such beauty shouldn’t just fade away. If she can make it through today, maybe something wonderful could blossom between us.’

Anthony was twenty-nine years old. He had had girlfriends in college, but it was nothing serious—he just held their hands and such. Now, he was so close to a girl. It made his heart race.

The night flew by.

Early in the morning, Sandra woke up groggily, still very weak but slightly revitalized. As she turned, she bumped into a solid chest.

"Don't move!" Anthony had barely slept all night. As dawn approached, he had finally begun to doze off when he felt someone touch him. The contact made him shiver subconsciously, and he quickly opened his eyes.

"Ah, creep!" It was only then that Sandra realized what she had bumped into. She screamed instinctively, trying to push Anthony away.

But the cave was small, and Anthony was particularly strong. So, she not only failed to push him away but ended up even closer to him in the scuffle.

"Uh, sorry, I really didn't mean it!" Anthony said, somewhat embarrassed. He got up and looked at Sandra, only to catch a glimpse of her neckline. His eyes widened, and quite fittingly, he swallowed hard.

 

Feeling his gaze lingering where it shouldn't, Sandra screamed again. "You, you're just a creep! Did you do that on purpose last night?"

Anthony was baffled by how quickly Sandra had bounced back. ‘If I'd known, I'd have sucked in less of that venom,’ he thought to himself. Now, it seemed Sandra was ready to dig up the past. 

"Hey, don't forget, I saved your life from that snake. If it weren't for me, you'd be dead. Plus, you were the one who told me to close my eyes. How was I supposed to know where the wound was? It was normal not to find it right away, wasn't it?"

When she heard his words, memories of last night flooded her mind. Suddenly, her hand flew up.

Smack! A slap landed, and Anthony was struck squarely. It was the second time he’d been slapped; he was getting used to it. After all, you could never hit back on such a girl. Besisdes, they were still on the show. Thus, he retorted casually, "Don't be so narcissistic. I just saved you because we had a connection. And remember, you asked for my help! Don't flatter yourself; I'm not interested in you at all."

"What? What did you say?" Sandra flared up instantly. She was beautiful and had a great figure, although she was a bit slim. It was something that she had always been conscious of. She had heard that eating papaya could enhance her bust, but though she ate that a lot, it hadn’t helped. Anthony’s words hit a sore spot.

"I, um, didn’t say anything!" Anthony stammered, slightly embarrassed. Yet, his gaze remained fixed on her.

"So you think I'm ugly? Is that why you're not interested in me?" she challenged.

"I didn’t say anything; you did!" Anthony defended himself.

"You really think that, you dumb ass! I’m going to kill you!" she fought back.

"Wait, what did you call me?" asked Anthony.

"Dumb ass!" Sandra took it for granted.

Their bickering ended quickly. They were both famished from not eating breakfast and felt weak all over.

At that moment, Anthony couldn't help but stare at Sandra's long, white legs clad in stockings.

Sandra noticed his gaze and glared back. "Pervert, what are you staring at? That look is very offensive."

Anthony opened his mouth to speak, then hesitated.

Sandra stepped back, wary. "What are you trying to say? I warn you, don't think anything dirty."

Anthony looked speechless. ‘We've been through life and death together, and you still don't trust me? Really?’

He quickly countered, "Of course not, Sandra. Let me reiterate, I'm not interested in you. I was just staring because I wanted to borrow something from you. Can you take off your stockings so I can use them for something?"

Startled by his request, Sandra retorted, "Great, now I understand. You're not only a scoundrel but a freak too. You like women's stockings! You're not planning to do something filthy with them, are you?"
