"Ridiculous! A broken, brainless slave dares accuse the royal palace of treason?" a royal elder exploded with fury, his face turning bright red as the massive crowd erupted into immediate, mocking laughter.

"Who do you think you are, you worthless dog?" Young Master Brandon shouted from the floor, spitting black soot from his bare, burned scalp as he sneered at Dustin. "You have zero cultivation, zero Qi, and zero right to speak before His Majesty!"

"He has completely lost his tiny mind from the mining fumes!" Chloe Sterling cheered loudly, pointing her finger at Dustin with unyielding disgust. "Your Majesty, please execute this lying servant right now for his horrible insults to the prestigious noble houses!"

Dustin did not look angry. Instead, he deliberately lowered his head, making his posture look weak, tattered, and completely pathetic. He shrank back slightly behind Lady Vivienne, playing the part of a terrified, useless live-in son-in-law perfectly.

"I... I am just a simple laborer, Your Majesty," Dustin stuttered slightly, his voice sounding entirely defenseless as he held up the bronze object. "I found this strange, flat piece of scrap iron buried deep in the mountain ores last week. When I accidentally clicked this switch, it showed a very scary picture of the plaza. I only speak out because I am terrified for Your Majesty's safety!"

"Silence, trash! Your cheap parlor tricks cannot deceive the throne!" Julian Sterling roared, eager to stomp Dustin into the dirt.

But Lady Vivienne stepped forward, her majestic silver robes swaying smoothly as she unleashed a suffocating wave of spiritual pressure that silenced the crowd. "Let him show what he found," Vivienne commanded coldly, throwing her absolute noble influence behind him. "If a servant can see a threat that our legendary grandmasters missed, then the empire has far deeper problems."

With Lady Vivienne shielding his pathetic display, Dustin timidly pressed the tiny button on the side of the modern machine.

Suddenly, a giant, glowing blue light projected a highly advanced heat-map directly above the royal plaza, shining much brighter than the sun. Gasps of absolute horror and shock erupted from the mouths of the nobles as they looked up at the strange, terrifying picture floating in the sky.

Every single spiritual vein surrounding the massive dragon egg appeared as clear, glowing streams of bright crimson light on the digital map. And every single stream did not rise into the sky; instead, they all flowed directly downward through the floor toward the hidden space beneath the Emperor's throne.

The entire plaza fell into a dead, petrified silence as thousands of eyes moved from the sky straight to the golden chair of the ruler.

The High Emperor’s face turned a deathly, terrifying shade of dark purple, his eyes burning with a massive wave of sudden fury as he stood up.

"Guards!" the Emperor roared, his voice shaking the heavy stones of the palace walls like a massive thunderbolt. "Shatter this stone floor immediately!"

Ten heavily armed royal guards rushed forward, slamming their massive iron spears down into the marble platform with absolute, brutal force.

The heavy stone floor exploded into a thousand flying pieces, revealing a dark, hidden room built beneath the Emperor's seat. An ancient, glowing black formation was revealed to the world, and the giant dragon egg inside the cage let out a miserable, undeniable cry of pure pain.

The evidence was completely undeniable; someone was actively siphoning the royal beast's life to gain forbidden power.

Dustin's modern scanner immediately zoomed in on the center core of the black formation, projecting a giant, engraved symbol straight into the blue sky. It was the distinct, unmistakable symbol of a sharp blade wrapped tightly around a green serpent—the personal emblem of the Razor-Sexton House. And right beside the emblem was the unique, glowing spiritual signature seal of the old Razor-Sexton Patriarch himself.

The royal plaza exploded into an absolute hurricane of pure chaos and screaming panic.

The old Razor-Sexton Patriarch’s face lost every single ounce of its color, turning as white as a piece of blank paper. He turned his body fast, trying to break through the guards to flee from the courtyard. But a supreme royal grandmaster instantly appeared right behind him like a ghost, his hand striking the old man's back with a brutal crack.

The patriarch's cultivation core was completely sealed, and the old man crashed heavily onto his knees in the wet dirt, coughing up dark blood.

"Brandon knew nothing about this!" the desperate patriarch screamed frantically, pointing his trembling, wrinkled finger at his bald, smoking son. "I acted alone! My son is innocent!"

"Arrest every single member of the Razor-Sexton House right now!" the Emperor commanded fiercely, his eyes flashing with a deadly light. "They shall all face total execution!"

Young Master Brandon collapsed onto his knees in the mud, his spirit completely broken, his eyes wide with a sudden, horrifying despair as the royal guards surrounded him.

Chloe Sterling took a giant step backward away from Brandon, her face turning pale as she looked at him as though she had never known him in her entire life. She was utterly furious inside—not because of the treason, but because Brandon's stupidity had ruined her path to the top.

"No! I don't know him! I have nothing to do with these traitors!" Chloe shrieked frantically to the royal executioners who walked toward her.

She turned her head around fast, pointing a trembling, manicured finger toward the back corner where Dustin stood looking small and weak beside Lady Vivienne.

"It was Dustin! He is my true, legal husband!" Chloe lied loudly, her voice cracking with a high, disgusting wave of pure desperation. "He is a live-in son-in-law of the Sterling family! We were planning to renew our marriage in a grand ceremony next month, but Lady Vivienne seduced him and used her high status to steal him away from us! Your Majesty, Dustin's loyalty belongs to the Sterlings—please clear our name!"

She rushed forward through the mud, completely discarding her pride as she threw her body at Dustin's feet, grabbing his ragged sleeve tightly.

"Dustin, please, save the Sterling family! You know how much I love you!" she wept shamelessly, hiding her intense disgust for his tattered clothes. "Think about our child... you cannot let them drag me into this execution!"

The entire crowd stared in absolute disbelief at her sudden, shameless twist.

Dustin didn't use any supreme aura or grand speech. He simply looked down at her with a look of helpless, pathetic disappointment, letting Lady Vivienne’s presence do the talking. He reached down slowly, peeling Chloe's dirty fingers off his sleeve one by one.

"Your Majesty..." Dustin whispered, looking toward the throne with an innocent, aggrieved expression. "She systematically stole every silver piece I earned for three years. She helped frame me as a slave when I found out her mother's sickness was a fraud. And yesterday, she and Brandon had me beaten and thrown into the mountains. I am just a powerless laborer... if it weren't for Lady Vivienne's mercy, I would already be a corpse."

Lady Vivienne stepped forward, completely validating Dustin's pathetic plea. "It is true, Your Majesty. The Sterlings are vipers who abuse the weak and plot behind the shadows. They deserve zero mercy."

The High Emperor looked at Dustin, thoroughly satisfied by the boy's humility and the absolute proof brought by his lucky find.

"Dustin Vance, through your accidental discovery, you have exposed a massive treason, saved the royal dragon, and proven your true loyalty," the Emperor announced loudly. "I hereby confer upon you the supreme, official noble title of Imperial Baron of the Western Province!"

The massive crowd exploded into absolute shock. A tattered, ridiculed live-in laborer had just become a high-tier noble lord in a single day—all because of pure, infuriating luck!

Chloe and Brandon nearly fainted from the immense weight of the news.

Chloe mashed her face into the dirt, weeping bitterly. 'How?!' she screamed inside her mind, her soul burning with an unyielding, vicious envy. 'He is just a useless, powerless peasant dog! How did he find that magical bronze scrap iron in the mines? How did he get so lucky to climb above me?!'

Brandon glared at Dustin through his tears, his knuckles turning white in the mud. 'This trash has no cultivation! He only won today because he hid behind Lady Vivienne’s skirt and used a dead man's tool! Just wait... the moment he steps out of the Emperor's sight, I will cultivate a way to rip his noble title away and slaughter him!'

They completely believed Dustin was still the same weak, lucky fool—utterly blind to the terrifying, modern military system hiding inside his mind.

Dustin looked down at the two lovers who had mocked him, stepped on his knees, and treated him like trash. A subtle, bone-chilling smile briefly flashed across his pale face, disappearing before anyone else could notice it.

"Since I am now a high noble of the empire, I happen to require new servants to clean the heavy filth from my new manor," Dustin requested smoothly, looking up at the Emperor with a humble bow. "Those two right there in the dirt... since their families are stripped of status, I ask to take them as my personal slaves."

The High Emperor let out a loud, proud laugh that shook the courtyard. "Granted! They belong to you forever, Baron Dustin!"

The royal guards immediately slammed heavy iron chains around Chloe’s and Brandon's necks, dragging them violently to their feet before Dustin's boots.

Chloe looked at Brandon with pure, unyielding venom in her eyes, believing his family's stupidity had ruined her life. Brandon glared back at her with a massive wave of sudden hate, while secretly vowing to find a way to assassinate their "lucky" new master.

Behind Dustin's calm, humble eyes, the blue system screen began to violently flash with consecutive, massive numbers.

[DING! 50,000 Anger Points harvested from Chloe Sterling’s extreme envy and hidden hatred!]

[DING! 70,000 Anger Points harvested from Young Master Brandon’s secret vows of bloody revenge!]

[Total Balance: 142,000 Anger Points! Modern Weapons Shop Level 2 is now unlocked!]

The villains were entirely trapped, their hatred was feeding his ultimate arsenal, and they still had absolutely no idea what kind of modern god they were dealing with.
