“I need to know about all the recent occurrences that took place in Blackwood Company in every single detail,” he said. He sent a message to his men, kept it back inside his pocket and then averted his gaze to Gwen, who was waiting for him to lift his head and pay attention to her words.
“Mr. Nathan, are you sure that you can save my grandfather?” Gwen came directly to the point without beating around the bush.
“I can’t guarantee you anything until I meet the patient directly." Nathan didn’t give her any false hope or belief. After hearing that Nathan didn’t refuse her, she felt a bit relieved and was about to ask something else but Nathan stated,
“You already posed a question and I answered. Now it’s my turn.”
Gwen glanced at Nathan for a few seconds and understood that he was not someone to argue with, so she simply accused him of breaking his rules and indicated that she was ready to answer his question.
“Who informed you about me as a doctor?” Nathan imposed his question on her and even though he questioned her normally, Gwen was able to detect the seriousness in his tone. He had suspicions about her because, even though Lothric was a larger city than Beloberg, it was not the capital or economic center. Gwen was from one of the prominent families and was the eldest daughter so for a person like her with just an identity, it was impossible for her to recognize him as he was not well known to everyone. He hides his identity and learns everything from behind the curtains.
“I got to know about you from Delytery Hamel, who is the president of Hamel’s group." Gwen didn’t have any plans to hide it from Hamel.
Nathan's suspicions of Deltery grew after hearing her say Deletery's name and learning that he had revealed his identity. When he was thinking about it, his phone began to ring, drawing his attention, and he fetched it. When he saw the caller ID, his brow furrowed, and he immediately answered the phone.
“Why did you hit my brother?” When he connected the call, she did not let him say hello and questioned him, which irritated him.
"Ask him what he did," Nathan replied in a neutral tone that was neither angry nor arrogant.
"Whatever he did, you cannot just hit my brother like that; you are not allowed to," Karina said angrily and coldly.
Nathan did not respond to her for a few minutes before saying,
“I don’t think there is something to say. You already believe something and have convinced your heart of it, so I do not see the need to clarify or explain. So think whatever you want," he said to her before hanging up the phone, which surprised Karina because he never did this with her. He had never hung up on her before, and this was the first time. However, she does not have much free time to worry about these minor details because she is in charge of promoting collaboration between her and Smith's companies.
Even before he could put his phone back into his pocket, he received a call from Deltery and heard a man's voice.
“Give me a minute,” Nathan said to Gwen and he went away from there.
“Nathan, please forgive me and let me go. I did not do anything maliciously, but I had to carry out the order that was given to me. Please understand my situation and let me go. I am sorry for revealing your identity, but I had to do it because I want to let you know that they have a connection with your or your parent’s death," he began explaining while pleading for mercy.
Deltrie's men received a private order to detonate the bomb that killed Nathan's parents, but the group's equipment was previously strictly under control. In addition to Deltrie, only one scientific research director has the authority to activate the equipment.
“What was the relationship between the researcher of your company and the Smiyth family?” Nathan posed his question to him directly.
"He worked for the Smith family for five years before joining the Hamel group. Gwen directly took Nathan into the VIP ward, where the old man of the Smith family was housed. The whole ward was filled with doctors. They were all helpless, not knowing what to do with him or how to treat him, as all of their efforts were going in vain.
A girl who is gorgeous and sexy, resembling Gwen, came forward and complained,
“Sister, see, all of these doctors are of no use. I am not sure how they got their doctor's license, but everyone here is useless. They are not able to cure our grandfather and they still dare to call themselves doctors. How shame on them."
“You all step aside and let Mr. Nathan treat my grandfather,” Gwen ordered everyone.

“Yes, she is right. How can someone without a doctor’s license treat an ill person? How can he be capable of doing that?” The doctors who were present there backed Gwen’s sister.
“He is a doctor and he is the one who was recommended by Deltery." Gwen tried to ensure that Nathan was trustworthy but her sister didn’t want to take any risks, so she stood still on her words.
“As you wish,” Nathan simply said these three words. This section can add the status of the sister being controlled.
Nathan opens his mouth, nothing happens. The younger sister was about to laugh at Nathan, but found herself gradually moving away from him. Looking down, she saw that her hands and feet were moving backwards without her control! She wanted to scream, but couldn't open her mouth. She could only stare into Nathan's eyes.
