From other books I’ve read most she-wolves only go into heat 1-2 times in their life and also have to get pregnant to stop it, the author has a reason for doing this don’t let it bug you - be excited to find out the twist!

I think it's partly because of her goddess gift being life, meaning she is more intune to life and the wearwolf heat is the way of making more life. if she wasn't gifted I believe she'd be able resist the heat
