"I know right? A poor fat guy like him should just castrate himself in some corner and not embarrass himself like this in public!"

"Hey, do you think he’ll pick up the money after being humiliated like that?"

"Him picking it up? That's hilarious! If he does that, then he would be throwing away his pride." A middle-aged man sneered. He was confident that Fatty wouldn't have the guts to pick up the money, not to mention while everyone's eyes were on him.

At this point, the whole crowd of people was curious whether or not he would start picking the money up.

Just then, lightning suddenly appeared in the sky, after that raindrops started pouring down making the crowd scatter to find shelter.

On the other hand, fatty Sett just gazed upward, letting the raindrops roll down his cheeks. No one knew if it was just the rain or his silent cry.

Under the dumbfounded gazes of the onlookers, Sett bent his body, with no sign of humiliation on his face, and started to pick up the scattered bills on the ground, one by one, putting them under his shirt.

"Maybe I should just disappear. That wouldn't be so bad, right? But I still have my sister to take care of." He murmured to himself, as numerous questions started to pile in his heart that he badly wanted to ask the heavens for answers.

However, it was not a good time for him to snap, even though he was physically and mentally tired. He found a waiting shed where he took shelter in it and started contemplating  on how he was going to deal with his current situation.

"Maybe if I ask my grandfather nicely, he will let me borrow a hundred thousand dollars." Sett murmured sarcastically.

Though he would rather believe a pig transforming into a prince, than believing his snobbish grandfather would ever lend him a helping hand with his parents' operation.

Suddenly, his old Nokia keypad phone rang. He was surprised to find that it was his classmate from senior high, "Antonio Paul." Although their relationship isn't good, he still hurriedly answered the call.

"Hey there buddy, our school beauties from highschool are inviting our entire classmates for a reunion. Do you remember Lucy? Our senior high's muse?... Yes! the one you had a crush on. She felt bad for you so she wants you to come. Here's the address.... Make sure to come and don't be late. Everyone is already waiting. If you don't show up, I'll beat your sorry as*. You hear me, buddy?" His threatening voice on the phone made Sett silent. He remembered how Antonio used to beat him up while calling him fatso.

"S-Sure, I'll be there..." Sett stuttered then quickly turned off the phone in frustration.

He didn’t want to attend the class reunion since his high school bullies would also be there.

He pondered for a moment, but then changed his mind. Sett gritted his teeth and decided to go to the bar where his classmates were gathering for the reunion.

He thought that he could use this opportunity and try to borrow or loan some money from his tycoon classmates, and Lucy was also a rich young woman. If he remembered correctly, her father was the CEO of their very own company.

Shortly after, at 7 o'clock in the evening, Sett arrived at the bar where heavy music was bombarding his ears. His eyes were instantly drawn by the party goers' revealing outfits and the men who wanted to have entertainment and a memorable pleasure, entering and exiting at the bar entrance.

Normally, Sett would never enter a place like this, but due to his desperation, he had no other choice.

"Hold it right there!"

A bulky black bouncer with a terrifying face blocked Sett's path while eying him down from head to toe. He smirked as he realized Sett was wearing worn-out clothing.

"Do you have a ticket?" The bouncer's thick voice, paired with his frightening appearance, made him even more intimidating.

Sett then hurriedly shook his head, as he had no idea that he would need a ticket to enter.

The bouncer raised his eyebrows in irritation as his precious time was wasted entertaining a fat guy who didn't even have a single penny for the bar's entrance ticket.

"Scram! Poor bastards like you aren't allowed in here." The bouncer was about to grab Sett's collar while Sett nervously explained himself. Suddenly, the bouncer paused as they heard an angry engine roaring from the streets..

They turned around and saw an expensive, super-big bike. As the man and woman took off their helmets, Sett immediately frowned as he found those two individuals somewhat familiar.

"Oh, it's Fatso Sett! Tsk, tsk, who would have thought I’d catch you here at the entrance?" The man in the deluxe suite pretended to be surprised, then grinned widely, while the woman with short hair, a silver ringed nose piercing, and dark eye makeup giggled.

It didn’t take long before Sett finally recognized who that man was.

'Antonio Paul…' Sett let out a breath.

The guy was his typical school bully that everyone wouldn't want to get acquainted with, and his favorite target was him.

"Babe, do you remember the stories I told about my senior high days?"

"You mean that’s him?" The girl curiously looks at Sett.

"Yes, that’s him! I used to beat him up after school, and you know what? This guy is spineless. He didn't even do anything when his girlfriend was being harassed by our seniors. This guy is a real coward!" Antonio laughed coldly. "Oh, I almost forgot. News on the streets says that he's picking up garbage with his parents to earn a living after his family was kicked out of the Crossword family, and his sponsorship for college was also canceled. I didn’t know if it's true, but looking at him now..."

He fixed his gaze at Sett's worn-out clothes. "There's no mistake about it; his future is compromised... No matter what he does, he will always be looked down upon. What a hopeless guy." Antonio smirked while gazing at Sett's pale face trembling in frustration.

What a coward!

"Now that I look at it, are you still wearing the same T-shirt from senior high?

Aren't you embarrassed? Grow up, numbskull! Well, given your circumstances, it suits your status as a garbage collector. Lucy must have felt really bad for you. Maybe that’s why she invited you to our class reunion. Am I right?" Antonio's mocking voice made it very clear that he wanted to discourage him even further.

"You’re lucky. By the way, Lucy wanted me to give this to you." Antonio shoves the ticket on Sett's forehead. This caused Sett to lose balance as his rear hit the pavement.

"Why you!" Sett gritted his teeth in anger. He wanted to badly bash Antonio's face.

"What?! You wanna fight, Fatso?!" Antonio mocked him as he laughed while kissing his girlfriend on the cheek.

Sett left the Medical Room, leaving Jessica inside. As he was walking down the hallway, he was contemplating everything that he had learned so Far. He decided that he should just call it a day and go to his room to rest. He walked back towards the lobby to head upstairs and finally hit the hayAs Sett was about to go up the stairs, the sound of knocking suddenly resonated across the whole lobby, there was no one there other than himself so he opened the door. • Chapter 184: The Revelation of Power

Sett raised his eyebrows in confusion as response to Jessica's statement. It was as if she was expecting that he would ask her about it then and there. She finished tidying up the equipment then grabbed a chair to sit next to Sett. Her eagerness was as if she was a child, trying to share something she just knew to her parents.“So how much do you currently know about it?” Jessica meticulously asked before sharing everything she knew to Sett.Sett was a little bit surprised and curious about how much she actually knew about. Intrigued with whatever information that she could give, he decided to lay down a brief and still non-detailed outline of everything he knew, still leaving some parts hidden for Azula’s sake.As Sett finished the information dropping, Jessica gave her a skeptical look. She had a hunch that there was some information that Sett withheld from her, which was understandable. She didn’t want to pry on whatever it was he and his aunt talked about upstairs. She knew that

“You’re joking, right?” Sett asked in bewilderment of the sudden revelation that just presented itself to him.His statement somehow managed to anger Jessica even more. She paced herself slowly towards where Sett was standing with clenched fists, ready to bust his head again. With her choosing violence as her response, Sett was forced to apologize for his statement earlier to avoid any other conflict to arise.“I should be the one to ask you that you prick!” Jessica naggingly said to Sett. “There’s no way that you’ve spent all that time at Mother Azula’s office, and not learned of the foundational rules that your house has!” she added.“I did learn a little bit about the foundational rules, but…” Sett was cutted off mid sentence.“See! Now you admit that you do know about the House’ foundational rules! But why the fuck didn’t you use that and deny Young Master Roman’s request, huh?!” Jessica furiously said.Though Sett was getting a little irritated with Jessica’s aggressive accusatio

  • Chapter 182: The Untimely Truth

“Oh, my apologies Sett! I must have been hit by the memories of old a little too strongly.” Azula said as she wiped the tears off her face. However, Sett wasn’t convinced by such reasons. Sure, you could cry when you’re hit with nostalgia, but that is out of a joyful, euphoric feeling that overwhelms you to the brink of crying. But in Azula’s case, Sett noticed that her tears weren’t a product of such positive feelings. In fact it was the total opposite. Sett sensed that, the moment he saw her eyes devoid of life. An imperfect match for her ocean blue eyes, that seemed so full of life. He thought that whatever was bothering her, seemed like a burden that was still weighing down his Aunt, even until now.“Are you sure you’re alright Aunty?” Sett asks, deeply in concern for what Azula is feeling.Azula just looked at Sett with heavy laden eyes. She wanted to tell him about what really happened to his dad. However, it was still too early for him to know the truth. If he’d learn about it
